Affera stopped for a moment. She hadn't thought about that at all. She froze for a moment, holding her strawberry, mouth still open, and thought for a moment. Then she giggled cutely.
"Hehe, I don't know! I sure hope not!" ^^

Stripes nodded. "Anyway we aren't eating that much, right?" He smiled as he didn't mean to scare her. She was too pretty to scare. "Should we head out or look for something else yummy?"

Affera agreed. "Yeah, it will be fine!" ^^ She hadn't really given this any thought, and it didn't strike her as anything important.
She then looked around a bit and then decided she wanted to eat more yummy things. They still hadn't found their sugar cane.
"Let's go look for more yummy things somewhere else!"

Stripes smiled and nodded. "That sounds like a wonderful idea!" He chuckled as he began to walk from the strawberries. "Now where to my lady!" He winked to Affera.

Affera giggled and winked back at him. She skipped forward to walk beside him, grabbing his hand and smiling up at him.
"Let's keep going forward the way we were going, and see if we come across more yummy things. Maybe we will find a field of candy!" ^^

"Yeah, that would be nice. King of the Candycanes. The CandyCane Forest!" He said as he chuckled. It was a game he played with Claud and Pond. He really wished there were forsest like that.

Affera stopped and stared at him with wide eyes.
"Candy...cane...forest??!!!" She almost yelled with excitement. She began to bob up and down lightly. "Is there really a candy cane forest, is there?" She grinned up at him widely with child like innocence.

Stripes didn't mean to make her so excited. He wanted to tell her no...but she was so pretty and happy. "Um... yeah! I"m the King there. We have an ant problem, but it's nice." he lied with a smile. Inside he knew it was not nice, but he couldn't help it.

Affera gasped.
"Really??! You're the...the king!!" She grabbed his hand in hers and gazed up at him. "Please, please your majesty, take me to you palace!" She giggled and batted her eyelashes at him. "I'd love to see it. Is it made out of candy?"

"Oh, yes it's made of candy. Every few days we eat it and rebuild. This way it doesn't melt and we get a new look." Stripes said as a stall. What was he going to do now?
"Well, now. Will you be my Queen?" What? Why did he ask that? If she said yes, he couldn't back it up. He was getting into a sticky mess.

Affera blushed and only batted her eyelashes even more. She squeezed Stripe's hand and smiled at him sweetly.
"That sounds wonderful! Why didn't you say something before?" She paused and then let out a little giggle. "I would love to be you're queen!"

"What, wait? Really?" Stripes blushed as he really didn't think she would say yes. Now what was he going to do. So, he took her to the only place he could.
"Alright, my Queen. Follow me!" Stripes began to lead her to where he lived.

"Of course silly!" she said, touching his nose with her free hand.
Affera never stopped smiling the whole time. She was thrilled to become a queen, and she was flattered. She held tightly to his hand as he led her the way.

Stripes gluped as he found his home. It was inside a hollow log. However, the nice thing we it was decorated with candy canes. In a way he didn't like. He just over did it a little.
"Well, here it is. It's not the grandist candy cane castle ever, but it's fit for this King." He tried to pull that off.

Affera looked around for a moment, a bit confused.
"This is it?" She put her finger to the edge of her chin like she usually did when she was thinking. "It's...it's just a log. But I guess it is in a forest. And there are candy canes. Hmm...so, where are your loyal subjects?"
