Syan had gone to the river that was close to her house and slithered in so she could wash her hair and just cool down a bit. She enjoyed the water and it was a bit hot today, so it was a good plan. She had taught Div how to hunt small game recently so she wasn't too worried. She figured he would come to her and ask for food if he didn't have good luck finding some on his own.

*When Div returned to Syan's house, she wasn't there.* Syan? *He had found a large prey that he was very proud of, and held in his arms. It was a huge slug, that was still alive, and had made Div's front all slimy from the chest and down.*

Syan had finished and her hair was still wet when she slithered back to her home. She seen Div there and smile, though it changed when she seen what he was holding and her eyebrow arched. A giant slug? The boy seemed proud of it, though so she smiled and looked at him. "Good job, Div." She then thought that she might have to make him bathe in the river once he was done.

*Div smiled more and sat down with the slug in his lap, starting to eat it. As he took the first bite, he struggled a bit to tear off a chunk to chew on, due to it being very soft and stretchy.* Syan, food? *He tore out some of the inside flesh and held it out towards the serpent lady as a kindred offering. Ofcourse, the slug was still partly alive and making wheesing noises.*

Syan shook her head in a no manner. First off, she had already eaten her weekly meal and second, she wasn't one for slugs or insects. "No thank you, Div." She just went over to him and patted him on the head, scratching a bit to show that she appreciated the offer and so he wouldn't be upset that she didn't take it.

*Only thought in Div's head after she shook her head was, more for me! Enjoying his meal and the scratch, it didn't take long for him to finish. But the only thing left on his that wasn't slimy now, was his back and the top of hir head.*

Syan's tongue flicked out and she made a sort of disgusted look as he looked over the messy creature infront of her. Without any hint, she picked him up and started slithering to the river. "Bath." He was going to learn a new word whether he liked it or not today. She had his back to her front and her arms had the slime on them to which she shuddered a bit. She got to the river and slithered into it, keeping a tight hold of him so he wouldn't get away.

*The young boy was in full panic, if there was something he feared more then death, it was water. Now he didn't even think about who was holding him, he growled. kicked and scratched, trying to get loose. His flapping wings, as much as any other movable limb on him, spread slime as they moved rapidly around. As Div's eyes turn tearful out of fear, he knew that he wouldn't come back in a looong time if Syan ever put him into the lake.*

She seen how he was scared and stayed at the water's edge where it wasn't deep. She just continued to hold onto him and slowly lowered him to the water. If he was sitting, the water would only go up to his lower waist. She held him with her tail and scratched the back of his head to try to calm him. "Shhh... It's okay. You need to get cleaned. Syan won't let anything happen to you." She continued to hold him with her tail and used one of her hands to bring some water up and start washing the slime out of his fur. She was hoping he would be fine with being in shallow water where it wasn't that deep.

*His breath got more rapid as he went down into the shallow water, the scratching didn't help anything against his fear. The fealing of it seeping into his fur and the skin below was not pleasant at all. The wet fur also revealed how skinny he really was, he was practicly a hairy sceleton underneath it all. The more he moved, the more tired he became, and was soon to excausted to flap around as he did earlier.*

She finished washing him and just smiled. She knew that he hadn't gotten less afraid and that he was just tired from fighting, but she tried to make him feel better by scratching the back of his head some more. "Good job, Div. Such a brave boy." She cradled him in her arms and held him close and tight to calm him down as she lifted him out of the water. She then started to slither back to her house. His size scared her, however. "You need more food. Being this skinny can't be healthy. Food?" She was asking if he was hungry and would get him some meat to try to get him bulked up. Those slugs couldn't be that filling.

*Poor Div was to terrified to move, the water has caused him some minor trauma, and the likelyness of him being able to sleep for a while was slim. With eyes wide open, he didn't look at anything specific, just straight forward the way his head was faced. The Young boy was soaked to the bone, and started to freeze, the warmth from the fur was useless when wet.*

Syan felt him shivering and took him into the house. It was warm in there and she found a blanket, wrapping it around him and starting to dry him off. "There, there. I'll have you dry soon." She was gentle as she started to dry him and knew he was getting dry when his fur started fluffing up.

Syan was at the river that day getting the blood washed off of her scaled skin after she had went hunting. She had caught something for Div and even herself. She went out a bit deeper into the river and ducked under the water before coming up and having her bangs hang into her eyes.
