Chidi giggled at his father as he dashed away from them and from the down-pour. "How posh of him." he thought silently to himself.
Chidi reared onto his hind legs to get a good view of the sky and opened his mouth to taste the sweet afternoon shower. He had to close his eyes; the rain was coming down upon them rather swiftly! The coolness of the water quenched him momentarily and he came down onto all-fours again, splashing in a quickly formed puddle as he did so.
"Well," he addressed Eton, "shall we follow?" he asked reluctantly. He did not want to be rude and let his father turn to see that no one had followed...but he was desperately longing for a good game of tag!

Eton watched as the older stallion headed into the trees and out of the rain that poured down from the skies by the buckets. Closing his eyes and raising it up toward the grayness above, he just stood there. Letting the rain fall, land and roll off his velvet coat before looking back toward Chidi and nodding, his wings fanning out a little before folding back to his ebony sides.
"I suppose we should, would be rude though to leave him to himself," A small smile came to him. "But..." He reached over and tapped the other stallion before charging off toward the trees. "Your It!"
Eton had shouted as he splashed through puddle after puddle, thin layers of mud splashing up his legs and long his underbelly. Barely looking back to see if the other was close behind him, Eon broke into the trees, his long mud slicked tail slapping behind him, if anything he hoped that he could just be himself with these two. Not not some 'adult' stallion everyone wants him to be... It was just boring. Dashing past the older stallion, Eton took a turn around a couple of trees and came to a halt looking back, 'giggling' to himself with glee...

((Hope no one minds me joining. <3 )) Taja walked through a clearning looking for a place to rest and refresh herself. She slowly walks through a bush and see's a little lake. Taja smiles to herself and walks up to it and put her mouth in the water; drinking slowly. 'This is refreshing..' she thought to herself. She pulled out of the water and looked around. 'It's quiet..... Something must be here somewhere....' she continued to think as she looked up towards the tree tops.

Hok'ee was standing in the protection of the trees alone it seemed. It had been a few moments and he began to think ill of himself for being the only one to run for shelter. It was just rain after all.
Just as he turned to see what the others were up to, he had to leap back to avoid a blur of Eton passing him by.
He laughed as he shook his head. He could hear Chidi in hot pursuit nearby.
He would not join in their game, but was glad to see the two of them making the most of the weather.

Chidi half paid attention as Eton outstretche his wing but it took no time at all for "You're it!" to register. And with that, he was off and hot on Eton's heels. Many times, he had to avoid getting pelted in the face with his divots and so dodged side to side as he laughed aloud and flung his tail in great game-playing excitement!
He whooshed past his father and as he hurled himself by, he shouted "Hey dad!" as if to say, "Watch me!" The smile on his fathers face assured him that he was no longer despairing his fathers thoughts with his childlike actions. It's good to have fun sometimes and he was relieved that his father appeared to feel the same.
Chidi broke from Eton's path as the two rampaged through the trees. His plan was to cut around the thicker part of trees and suprise him from behind...or something of the sort...when from behind a trunk, appeared a pinkish mare! It was unavoidable that he would run into her so instead he whirled himself the female, tripped on a nearby tree root and rolled into the ruffage. But with the thrill of the game fresh in his mind, he leapt up shaking his mane and lunged for the female. Quickly rushing past her, he flicked his tail on her hip and yelled, "Now YOU'RE it!" and galloped off in sheer joy to find Eton and let him know that someone else is the tagger.

Akuba quietly watched the game of tag, he seriously didn't want to be 'it', so he stayed out of the way.

Eton had swept off to one side and fanned out his large wings some as his mud slicked tail slapped against his own side splattering mud against his ebony black coat. True he was already coated in mud from almost head to hoof, the young stallion kept in mind to not get tagged. Folding his wings and sprinting another short distance, he heard Chidi shout 'tag' but who could he have tagged? Certainly not his father, the older stallion didn't seem to be the type for foalish play.
Turning back, his head tilting to one side, who could Chidi been talking to? Taking careful steps, he didn't want to be fooled, but he was curious as to who was it now... Pawing the needle littered ground, though the dried needles clung to his hooves, tail and what mane that happened to get close to the ground. He was a complete mess if anyone were to see him, then again, Dusty would have had a fit after laughing for a good while... Thankfully she didn't know he was out in the mud again...
