*Huggles Ultimania* If only people realized their own bias and be a little more open-minded. Reminds me of my debate with one particular Cleris screaming at me that in debates you aren't allowed to be open-minded. rolleyes Kinda silly.

Hehe. Being open-minded is crucial in a debate so that you can achomplish what debates are for... finding out the truth.
Bias is the problem, I see so many Cleris writing essays on how Aeris and Cloud are more compatible and therefore they are canon. *sigh* No... that has nothing to do with canon. First, it's your own opinion and nothing more. Second, what the characters do and say in the game is what defines canon.
Like symbolism. If you have to interpret a pairing... that means it's not canon, but can be interpreted that way. That's what I find with Cleris. It's something to intrepret, and they don't realize that doesn't make it canon. You have to have solid proof that these two are in a romantic relationship with one another for it to be canon. Everything else, even if it's hinted at, is fanon.
*huggles my Ultimania as well* Indeed, it's nice that they made it so clear as to where Cloud's feelings lie. If someone wants to debate it, they can go have fun, but at least we know for sure that all this time we've known the truth and we got it right.

Yeah, it's all about symbolism with Cleris. Lol, I remember "Destiny Fulfilled" had this whole interview with a Japanese person in their symbolism, how pink (which is considered a lighter shade of red in Japan) meant the red ribbon of fate that connected two lovers. Too bad it's all Zack. biggrin LOL
Gives us a satisfying feeling doesn't it? That we won, haha. xd All those years of pointless arguments finally showed some fruit.

Ya, have you also read the destinyfailed blog where they show that all of their 'Japanese people' are fakes? Those interviews are completely made up, and they even made up locations as to where they were when they had these 'interviews'. XP Like their 'better' translations, where people cite the books where they translated the Japanese from, but it's not good enough for Cleris and they have to tone all the Cloti down because it hurts. Yet they don't cite dictionaries, or they say, "Ya, it means this, but I like it better this way." as if you can just do that.
I told my brother he must be so lost and confused in Japan, you know, since if you aren't native there you can't possibly understand the language. Always talking in symbolism they are. XP

Seriously?! OMG, they were fake the whole time?! Well....I'm not exactly that surprised....the interviews themselves were fishy. You know, why not just let the Cleris rewrite the whole game? It'll probably satisfy them.
Lol! How's your brother in Japan? Is it enjoyable to him?

It's a dream come true for him. He misses me obviously. XP Since the first time I met him he wanted to make video games in Japan, and now he is.
He took Japanese in school, so language wise he's pretty good and he hasn't complained to me yet.

I like reading the real Destiny FuFilled some times. Especially with the things that are said about the HighWind scene.
"Why did Tifa stutter when she woke up if she's with someone she loves?"
"Cloud said he was fighting for a very personal memory and that can't be Tifa lolz!"
"Cloud isn't looking at Tifa when he seyz stuff so its not romantic"

I noticed that the low affection HighWind scene is NOT much different from the high affection one. Cloud says less things, but the important lines are pretty much there. Even when it's low affection, it still seems romantic to me. :/
Who has time to type up all of those pointless essays that are like, pages long about fictional characters? I would reply to all of those essays with some of my own, but I have a life to live thanks. -bitter biggrin -

It's funny how they go on and on about how Aeris' date is the official one, but they also go on and on about the unofficial versions of the highwind scene. The official one, the one that SE refers to is the high affection one. To get the low affection one, you have to be really mean to Tifa.
Even then, as you said, it's not mean, some of the romantic lines are just removed. They still have their intimate moment together, and Tifa is still embarassed afterwards.

Well Tifa doesn't seem as embarrassed in the lower affection one. She looks out the window and taps her foot instead of falling down on the ground. But yeah, it's like impossible to get the lower affection scene that is never referred to like ever?
Wow , Aeriths date may be official, but you can get other people instead of her. In the HW scene you can ONLY get Tifa.

"Encores can be fatal." Yeah, go Josh! Your point is amazing. =] Why would the date scene even be optional if it's so painfully Cleris? x'D And not to mention, vital to the plot of CLOUD BEING ZACKS PERSONA OMG NO WAI?!
-ahem- The HW scene is optional, but all the options involve Tifa and the low affection one (rarely referred to as Joshy mentioned) isn't even that discouraging. Wow, Cloud says a little less, but he still tells Tifa they don't have to go on alone, and he still tries to cheer her up in the HighWind and they STILL do what ever they did behind that black screen until dawn. =]
