"Huh? Oh, that wasn't a problem," Alice assured. Thinking about her results, she hadn't done particularly well, answering only half of the questions correctly; and for a couple of those, she'd just taken a wild guess which turned out to be right. However, as they had gotten farther in, she could figure out less and less, eventually just getting lost completely.

"I thought that was pretty hard," she commented. "I guess I'm not very psychic," she laughed.

Gaddwick almost laughed. "12 or 13 isn't bad at all. Its a great score considering that if you were just guessing you would have gotten 5. Even I haven't gotten a perfect score. My best so far is 23. In fact I think each of you might have a little potential with it if you were willing to train. Sabrina came up from behind and briefly rested her hand on Gadd's shoulder. "Indeed. All of you were unusually perceptive for those without training. Perhaps Gaddwick has rubbed off on you a little."

She smiled softly. "Now if you would please follow me I have worked out a lesson for you." She led the rangers out of a side door of the stadium to a smaller room. The walls on the far end of the room were covered with a slightly dusty mirror. The room wasn't used often but a half dozen weight bags hung from the ceiling along with some other old exercise equipment. "Just before Gaddwick left us we reached an agreement with the Dojo next door. They now help with all our physical fitness training so this room doesn't get much use anymore."

"Now Gaddwick actually came to me with a question on this visit." She gestured to him to ask. "Er. Yes. I've been wondering what the difference between Lucario's aura and Kadabra's Psychic abilities are. The appear similar but even though Jack can understand Lucario I often can't understand a word." Sabrina continued. "Gaddwick likened it to different languages. This while a good analogy is only part of it Aura originates from the body's life energy while Psychic energy comes from the mind. Perhaps a demonstration would show this best. Lucario, if you would please strike a bag without physically touching it. That is if alright with you, Jack."

Sabrina continued ignoring the exchange between Pokemon and trainer. "Kadabra, go ahead." Kadabra turned to Gadd who nodded. Kadabra faced a bag which rose up and began going through a series of motions. Swinging back and forth and twisting as if some child has jumped onto it."Thats enough Kadabra. Now the difference was not obvious but it was there. Lucario's aura originated from its body, formed into an attack and was launched at the target. Kadabra on the other hand manipulated the bag itself. This is why a Pokemon that strikes with Aura will often move with the attack, as it gives the attack additional power. Thats not to say that they aren't capable of copying the others abilities. Lucario can float without too much difficulty and Kadabra is capable of using forceful attacks. The difference is what comes naturally to the Pokemon. Any questions?

Kian jumped back up onto Mio's shoulder just before she stood up to follow the others to a new room. They watched the pokemon strike the punching bag without physically touching it. Miomoko found it intriguing how each pokemon could do what seemed like the same thing, but had apparently done it in different manners according to the pokemon itself and what it preferred or was born to do. Kian looked at Mio, he thought it was pretty cool what they could do, but he knew he was born to do neither. She rubbed his head, "Come on? Don't you like the thrill of acctually physically striking your opponent? The big adrenaline rush you receive after? It wouldnt be the same doing it with your mind." She tried to cheer him up. He agreed with her, but still thought it would be amusing to be able to lift an opponent with his mind.

Alice had been listening to the conversation while watching the bag swing back and forth, almost mesmerized. She wondered how a pokemon like Lucario would go about learning psychic powers, but Sabrina's explanation made sense. It wasn't quite as unusual as, say, a fire-type learning water-type techniques. She idly wondered if Skitty could learn those powers; she knew skitties could learn a variety of moves with help from technical machines and the like, but she doubted she could learn these.

Turning her attention to Sabrina's last comment, she thought that it would be interesting to go along, a good experience; she was eager to see more of the unfamiliar city and how things worked here. So far she had been fascinated by the gym, the clairvoyance training and what else she had seen, and she wanted to see more of the large city. So when Gaddwick said he wanted to go, she agreed, shaking her head to show she had no objections.

((OoC: I'm sorry for the slow replies. I think we need something to help everyone along and to try to move things more quickly. We need everyone to participate though. Hopefully we can get a few more members as well.))

Gadd turned to Sabrina. "I believe we're in agreement." "Thank you. Gaddwick. If you would please assist me." she responded as she released her Alakazam. "Ark has cleared the area for us. It will be no problem to teleport." Her eyes remained open though her focus was almost visible. Gaddwick closed his own eyes and they were soon in one of the warehouses by the Magnet Train Station.

"We will be splitting into three groups. Gadd would you come with me to work with the advanced students. There was a rockslide up ahead on the tracks that dislodged a fair number of earth Pokemon that need removing. Your friends will be working with Ark's intermediate group." Gadd turned back to the other rangers. "I guess I'm going with Sabrina. We'll meet up back here later okay?"

Gaddwick and Sabrina left the warehouse while Ark gathered the other few dozen students together. "Alright. I'm going to split us into three groups." Ark read down a list pairing students together. When he got to the end of the list two students were left over along with the Rangers.

"Okay, lets see, Jack, I'm going to put you with William here into group C." he said gesturing to a shorter, younger student who looked exceptionally eager. "Miss Miomoko if I could pair you up with Ana here. You're both in group B" he said nodding to the girl from the test earlier. "And since we have an even number of people would you mind working with me Alice?" he asked with a smile. "We'll both be in A group."

"Okay everyone. Group B should follow the tracks north. About a mile along you'll meet an employee. He'll fill you in on what needs to be done. Group C should head towards the Train Storage building. The manager will meet you there. Group A should come with me. We will be cleaning out the interior of the station. Is everyone ready?" The students all murmured in agreement. "Lets go then."

The three groups split up each going in their respective directions.

((OoC: I'll be playing the psychics. Feel free to go as quickly as you like. This mission will be ranked so its a good chance to get to Teir 2 or 3. Here are some basic stats for the other trainers.

Appearance: Almost the same age as Gaddwick. Wears a light colored uniform just like Gadd's. Hair is a short and blond.

Psychic Specialty: Levitation
Appearance: Around 12. Wears a dark colored psychic gym uniform vest with short sleeves and dark jeans. Hair is brown and very messy.))

William quickly spun out of the way as the red and white blur flew past again. He threw out his Pokeball in the direction of the other Pokemon before it could slow down and turn. The Electrode rushed forward and struck Bronzong with a loud deep ringing sound. Elsewhere in the long storage building an explosion was heard. The lights flickered a few times before going out leaving all the trainers with little light to work with. Will could barely be seen as he climbed onto his Pokemon as it floated into the air. "Jack, find some cover. That thing could explode at any moment."

((OoC: I apologise for the poor planning. I really should have kept everyone better informed of what they were fighting. Alice will fight a Magnimite. And Miomoko a Magnetron.))
