Iunno, as confused as I got she never stopped being a close friend, and today her best friend even said I'm not crazy for feeling the way I do. She's not very open about some stuff, so in a way I'm trying to prove I trust her enough to be open with me, maybe something will grow from there, until then she's the best friend I've got and probably ever had. You say a slim chance, but to me a chance like that is worth that million dollar chance any day. sweatdrop As for the garage band my friends are really getting their stuff together for it, and I kept asking what I need to do... all they said was work on a less nice guy look... so I slicked my hair back and skipped shaving for a few days, mean looking enough?

The only way it could more awkward was if she started dating someone (sorry to have to say it but tis true.) Though i doubt that will be the case. i personally believe it is rarely crazy to follow ones heart, so keep following that yellow brick road because you will eventually get to your destination whether it was the original plan or not . As for the band, umm the look is less clean looking though i am not sure if I would call it less nice guy looking. Hmm slick back hair always make me think of that 80's guy from futurama. "My one regret is... that I have... boneitis." so prehaps slick back hair is not best. Maybe more spikey hair or die it. Personally i think you should look how every you want, i mean a lot of the memorable bands had there own look that propelled them to the start. Oh well that is my opinion. Now when you say garage band, is there any more specific sound you guys are going for? (i am just trying to get a visual with music to better help me form a more informed opinion)

Well so far we want to do our version of classic rock songs by various band like ACDC, Guns n' Roses, etc... well actually more people would call it old rock. Voice wise I sound... I dunno, I think I sound more like a grunge singer than a rock singer. Instrumentally my friends are both amazing guitarists, though one wants acoustic and the other wants to just jam on an electric.
I really think she'll come around, I know it's a little weird to dwell on wanting to be more than a friend, but for some reason it feels like she's coming up with sorts of excuses to spend time together. sweatdrop

It is true that sometimes you become into a person when you think/know that person is into you. Also, ohh well if you are going with classic/old rock, then slick back hair might work. Oh well i still think its up to you what look is most appropriate. So you guys are doing covers or i guess remakes if you are putting your own twist on it, that is cool.

Please, I know it sounds crazy, Vixen, but I know I feel something for her... and I really think things are starting to come together slowly. This is the first time I haven't just rushed into things, this is the first time someone's wanted me around because of who I am, this is the first time I can admit that I love... and I don't feel crazy.

Keep me updated. what is the "please" for, you do not need my validation for you craziness, that is why it is a crazy little thing called love. personally i think it awesome that you refused to give up on love, i mean you should never give up on love unless it becomes bad for your health. Well nothing is going badly, had a weird night when a tornado hit while I was over at her house, me and her got together to watch an old movie and her mom got home and talked me into having dinner with them... I live in a dorm with no oven, so I can't really cook for myself; you have no idea how much I miss cooking.
Anyway, we were enjoying a movie, her mum gets home and offers to cook dinner, I never like to seem like a mooch so I always offer to just go ahead and get going... it was pretty late as is. Well right about the time we start to eat the Tornado sirens in our town go off and for about the next hour me, Emily, and her mom are all crammed in a closet together.
Aside from the tight confinement we all found time to laugh about it and before I'd left that night she followed me to the door asking me to keep it safe... heh, sadly the macho part of me kicked and I just smirked and said, "It'll take more than a storm."

Tornado that sounds scary. We rarely get those in Delaware and when i say that i mean i know of two instances in the past 20 years when one formed in the area.

Never gonna believe this, it happened again, I decided to drop in and say hi... because well I like talking to her, right as I go outside to start walking to the lab it starts raining heavy as hell. I'm talking raining ******** sideways. O.o So in any case I decide it's gonna take more than rain and I just run to the lab, I finally get their soaked and panting, she's laughing, I'm smiling, and well right as I catch my breath to say something the alarm goes off for us to get to the stare well, safest place during a tornado in the library. Well we end up sitting in the starewell, saying hi to her god father Bob who works upstairs and laughing about the strange things that happen when I come around... heh, then I end up walking with her to class, talking a little about videogames... mega geeks... and well then she had to go.

Awww thanks Vixen, well the college semester is coming to an end and I'm scrambling to get all my heaviest work done, but there's a small interlude of fun, me and her are planning on taking a trip up a local mountain again... the sites are always beautiful, the company pleasurable, and lord knows I need the exercise from sitting at a desk all day... must maintain... ABS!! *pokes his tummy* I still feel weird actually being in shape for once... it's funny at one point in time my actual goal weight was only 120lbs, I was like hella skinny in high school barely 105lbs... now I'm pushing 150lbs. O.o
