-A sheepsih snicker was tossed from his throat at the woman's comment. The two had been somewhat frightening.. But he couldn't say they had been creepy. No.. He knew creepy quite well.- "I wouldn't go so far as to call them creeps." -He chuckled, sitting back against the bench.- "That'd be rude. Perhaps.. Strange would be a better choice of words."
-Taiden was thrilled with her compliments. A rush was flowing through him and he felt.. Excited.. Somewhat happy and pleased.- "Woof!" -He chimed, sitting up straight.- "Woof! Woof! Baa!"
-Taiden's sounds caused December to cast the boy a quiet glance. It was then that he noticed the uncanny joy in his face and form. It was unusual. In all the time he had been with the child he had never seen him so.. overjoyed? Was that the proper way to describe it?- "Wow... She made him smile." -He said breathlessly.-

"You're right, guess I abused it. Haven't been around that sort of character for a long time..." Mya told December, blushing a bit at her own previous harshness.
The first one was easy for Dante, used to Sorai's and Crossan's noises. "Dog!" The other one, though, was more confusing, but she knew she had heard it somewhere. But where? Her thoughts wondered back to the HQ, to Mos and the other one... And then there was Mary, Mos's... Mos's what? It took a bit for her to remember the word. "Sheep!" Dante pointed out, nodding reassured.
"Hmmm?" Wow. That was rare... The only time Mya had seen Dante so open for the first time she met someone was with Tirio, the little blind elf ToR. Other than that, it was always others who directed their word to her. "Being so talkative is unusual. I suppose Taiden's smile is it too?" she asked, happy for how both babies were getting along so well.

"Him being nice is unusual." -The albino emitted a sigh. His eyebrows were knitted together in frustration as soon as he recalled the meeting with those two at that building. Taiden had been terrible that day. The cookies.. The cookies.. He didn't think he'd ever be able to forget the child's rudeness on that day.- "He usually doesn't get along with others." -He attempted to explain. The mention of her child's behavior being slightly awkward as well made him blink and turn his attention to Mya.- "Stange for your's as well? You don't think someone swapped children with us while we were not looking, do you?" -Each word was spoken in a somber tone.-
-Instantly Taiden began to clap his hands. A rolling laughter rose from his vocal box as he tried to think of another animal to mimic. What had been that noise he'd heard December make when reading to him? It had been loud and terrifying.. It had been brutal and harsh, yet at the same time it had been beautiful..- "Roar!" -He threw it out quietly and began to raise his pitch towards the end.-

Mya felt tempted to pat December on his shoulder and try saying something relieving, but that would be kinda pointless to do as she too had some troubles with that. Heck, the encounter with Storm hadn't been too long ago... "Swapped?" The idea itself was not too conforting, but it was still funny, getting some giggles out of Mya. "No, no one would do that. I think that each ToR infant is destined to a certain caretaker and nobody else. Just a feeling though."
It was Dante's turn to be flattered, a rosey blush spreading on her little cheeks. She was having a real lot of fun! Taiden (or Tai...) wasn't too noisy, too restless, cowardly or annoying, flaws she had spotted on almost every other infant she had met (except for Tirio). The sound he made was really easy for her. First, cause it was one of a kind. Second, for the funny situation where she had heard it. She was on the backyard with her stepsister Kalu when the nut Loki went rampant on chasing simple leaves, making the exact same sound. Loki must be thinking his a lion today..., that had been Kalu's remark. Soooo... "Lion, big cat!"

-ToR? The term seemed to strike December dumb. He was an oblivious one who had very little clue as to what his child was. He'd found the boy in a graveyard and had simply assumed he was.. Well.. An abandoned infant. Such things happened frequently on the streets of Gaia, didn't they?- "I beg your pardon.. ToR?" -He inquired. His tone was perplexed and intrested. Was this boy who he called Taiden a 'ToR'? That building he'd felt an urge to enter the other day and had met that woman and her kind daughter.. He thought he'd seen ToR somewhere in that building.. Or perhaps he'd just been thinking and it had popped into mind? But that was beside the point. He didn't know what the term meant!-
-Taiden clapped once more. His eyes had relaxed, as had the rest of his face. He was not tense, nor was he very.. Angry looking. It was a fine change. He liked this feeling.- "Ep. Yep." -He made the first sound in an attempt to say 'yep', which was a word he'd heard December say frequently. The fact that the whole word had come out afterwards had been luck and had made Taiden smile a little more. He'd said yep!-

Mya nodded, smilling at his doubt. "Yup. Tear of Redemption. Reincarnations of people who angered their gods on their previous life with a punishment for their sins. Ever felt attracted to this certain building? Maybe there was anyone with a kid inside?"
Dante giggled as she heard Taiden speak. He had said another word! Cunning despite her tender youth, Dante had a keen mind, having an easy time judging people (even if most of the times wrongly and hastily...) and their hardships. When Taiden tried to say his name, it practically jumped to her he couldn't speak well. So, the fact of saying another word was a reason for being happy! "Tai speaking!" she said, nodding.

-His snowy eyebrows were hoisted up a bit. That seemed awkward and unthinkable. Reincarnations? He shook his head, resisting the urge to laugh and say 'you're joking, right?'. Suddenly he paused, looking shocked. She'd hit the nail on the head. December had been attracted to a building and he -had- met a child inside. Well, an infant to be more exact.- "Yes.. You hit a bull's eye." -He sounded as if he were slightly in shock.- "So Taiden... He's one of these ToR?"
-Taiden set his hands upon his hips. A look of pure pride and self worship was carefully painted upon his face.- "YEP!" -He shouted the word, pleased that he could say it. Of course it was nearly the only word he could say. His name was something that didn't need to be included.-

"He is a ToR." Mya agreed, nodding. "Any unnatural feature standing out? Like feeling pain for doing or be done something, something restricting? Dante's curse, as far as I know, is to never, under any circumstance take her blindfold out. Though I have no idea why..." She didn't rule out a slight suspicion that the burn the little girl had sported for sometime in her still bandaged hand was caused by one of such side effects... But, until being sure, no assertions made.
"You say yes! Try no!" Dante suggested, grinning from almost ear to ear.

-December had to dwell upon such a statment. He'd never thought Taiden to be.. something quite that unique. He'd always imagined that he was just a normal baby. One who didn't like being touched.. Being.. He blinked.- "Touch.. Taiden doesn't like to be touched by bare skin. I remember when I found him I touched him to pick him up and he was screaming until my ears were bleeding.. Then I switched to.." -He squinted, lifting that blasted robo arm of his.- "This hunk of metal.. He hasn't cried once with my touching him with this."
-Taiden raised an eyebrow. No.. No. The word sounded simple enough to say.- "Nnn" -He set his tounge near his lips, attempting to force the sound out. He was having no luck.. After a while he managed it.- "No." -He chirped in that voice of his.. That voice.. That lovly, ringing, silver bell voice.-

"Hmmm..." Mya thought, meditating about December's words. She didn't even blink when he showed his metal arm, used to life's oddities as she was. Instead, her thoughts were more on the line of skin... "Babies screaming like that means one thing, pain... So... Maybe his punishment is to feel pain when he touches skin..." she concluded after some silent moments, just interrupted by Dante's and Taiden's talks.
"See? Not hard! Name?" Dante pointed to herself, keeping her grin. She wanted to hear him speak. She wanted to hear him say her name...

-That did seem to make sense, although it was far from what December would have ever expected.. A baby incapable of touching skin. It was odd. Then again, everything seemed odd. Taiden's discovery, his actions, his personality.. Everything about the infant was strange. A nod was given.+"That.. Does make sense. A lot of sense now that I think about it.." -He spoke thoughtfully. He didn't seem to realize Taiden was saying things quite yet, for he was lost in his own thoughts now.-
-Taiden's eyebrows knitted together. This one would be hard. He hardly knew her name, having only heard what he thought it was once, maybe twice, out of the adults. But he would not have himself shamed infront of this girl whom he considered a gift to himself! Touch! Touch! She'd done it. He'd never cease celebrating this day. He'd remember it always.. Forever and ever, until the day he lay down and shadows engulfed him.- "D.." -He began, thinking of how to say the name. It couldn't possibly be too hard.. Could it?- "Da..D..a...Dan...rei.. Dant..Dani....Dan-Dan-Dante?" -He brought a hand up to touch his jaw. How he hoped the sound had come out right. He did not want to offend the girl by stating her name wrong.- "Dante?"

Dante giggled as Taiden attempted to get it right, finsing the attempts at getting the name right particularly funny. It was being fun to teach someone else how to talk, especially since it was such a cool boy. "Yay! Dante and Taiden!" she squealed cheerfully, clapping her hands. "Friends?" the infant added with a wide smile.
"Oooh, so sweet..." Mya muttered, watching the children as December fell into the thoughtful state. Dante was being really friendly there, it almost didn't seem like her at all...

ba-dump, ba-dump, ba-dump. -Taiden's heart was throbbing against his chest. He wasn't too sure what to say. Friends? She wanted to be.... Friends? His eyes hardened for a moment. He wanted to say yes.. Say yes and then thank her for the proposal of such a fabulous idea! But all he could do was nod and say that one tiny word;- "Yes." -He spoke quietly. His tone seemed to be that of an excited, eager and flattered young one.-
-December had continued to think, scratching his head after a few moments. Why hadn't he thought of it before? Touch hurting him! It made so much sense.. So much sense.. He blinked. Yes. Taiden's voice echoed within his mind. Instantly his gaze was sent to the two children to observe them.-
"T...Tai.. Dante. F.. Friends." -Taiden spoke again. He did not smile though. A serious expression was glued to his face, much like the one he normally displayed.. Except his eyes. They seemed full of contentment, perhaps more, rather than anger.- "Yes."

"Friends!" Dante repeated, nodding again. Carefully, she plucked out one of her winglet's feathers, silverish, and gave it to the boy, grinning.
Mya would love to let these moments go on, but a glance at her watch told her it would be far wiser to go and leave Dante back home so she'd catch up on her own darn job. Slacker... "Dang, I'd love to stay more time, but I still have some stuff to finish on my work... It was nice to meet you though, maybe you and Taiden could come over some time!" she explained, taking a small piece of paper and a pencil. After writing down her number, Mya handed it to December, blushing lightly. "It's kinda hard to tell you what my address is, so call me so I can tell you where it is!"

-December blinked. His hand wrapping around the piece of paper. He gave it a quick glance before folding it up and setting it in his pocket. Late. Late... It was getting rather late wasn't it? Was about time for him to head back home with Taiden. A smile crossed his face.- "Sad to see you go and we'd be delighted to come to your place some time. I'll be sure to give you a call."
-Taiden had held the feather in his hand. It was soft and fluffy, very nice to feel. Dark green eyes drooped somewhat as he brushed his cheek with it. He wouldn't let it go.. Ever. As he was marveling over the feather December's arm had moved to pick the boy up. A chill ran down the infants spine at the feel of the cool black metal.-
"It's been a pleasure talking with you Ms." -December stated calmly. That smile was still on his face.-
