The Doctor turned in surprise to Rae, then his face broke into recognition. "Ah. Yes. The clever girl who broke into the TARDIS. That hasn't happened in about thirty years." He pointed down a hall. "Go down there, make a left. You'll see some big winding stairs. Go up them and you'll come to the closet." He waved his hand. "Pick something you can walk around in comfortably. We'll go into town later and see the sights." Also in case they ran into anything... unexpected, the Doctor thought.

Delilah followed his directions to find the incredibly large closet. As she found the swimsuit section she glanced through quickly. She picked out a nice bikini, yellow with red polkadots, and put it on. She slipped a pink sundress over it and picked out some flip flops. She went back out to the Doctor, and waited for Rae.

Rae came out a few minutes later looking, if possible, even more gleeful and wearing an extremely 60's orange and aqua bikini under a semi-transparent white mumu with sea-shells sown along the collar, with turquoise flip-flops on her feet. "You're closet is amazing," she said matter-of-factly, "Are you an alien? I'm guessing that you are, though if that's a touchy subject you needn't answer. But I have to say," she continued, looking more thoughtful, "I'm honestly not sure why it would be a touchy subject, after Christmas and everything. Aliens are almost regular faire, now, or maybe that's just how it seems. On the other hand, I suppose Aliens are oversensitive people just as often as humans..." She trailed off, then suddenly seemed to decide that either he didn't care or she didn't. The almost maniac grin was back. "Anyway, the fact remains that your closet is amazing!"

The Doctor blinked and looked at Delilah. He pointed at Rae. "I like her." He looked back at Rae. "Ta. I've had a lot of time to build it up. And yes, I am an alien." While they were gone he had somehow gotten a pair of long swimming trunks. They reached below his knees and were a tan color with white hibiscus flower design on it. He had the black shades from before on and a white towel slung over his shoulder. He pushed the door open and some sand wafted in. "Ladies first."

Delilah shuddered. "A HAND dropped on my head during last Christmas! I try not to think about it." She stepped out of the TARDIS, and grinned at the beach. She ran towards the beach and pulled the dress off and kicked the flip flops off. She waded into the water, smiling.

Rae ran after her, or did her best to run after her, as the sand was really much too deep and soft to make that sort of thing easy, discarding the mumu and kicking off her flip-flops well before she reached the water's edge. The abandoned articles landed randomly, with one flip-flop at least twelve feet from it's mate, but Rae didn't check to see where they ended up; she ran straight into the water and was completely submerged within seconds. A moment later, her wet head popped back up above the foam. "This is perfect," she sighed, more to herself than either of the other two.
