Hello. I'm Persephone, hence my username. You may call me Persie (Iknow, it's seems to be spelled wrong). You can tell, I adore Greek mythology. I love the Medieval Times and all its mysticism. I can do tarot readings for you if you ask nicely and I have time. =D You don't have to believe in it; I don't mind if it's just for fun. ^__^ I also love Chinese and Japanese history, every single dynasty of those two fascinating nations. Feel free to visit my profile and add me. ^__^v Peace be with you!

Hello, my name is Aine and I'm 30. I was quite excited to receive an invite to this guild, as I don't have many people in my life to talk about history with. I don't have one particular era of history that I'm nuts about. I'm the type of person who sees a program on PBS that interests me, and then has to check out every single book I can get my hands on at the library. So I have a huge amount of info stored in my brain that most likely will only ever come in handy on a trivia game show. wink
I'm not much into names and dates as to the cultures of the period. I want to know how they lived, what they wore, the music, the food, and so on. I suppose it comes from my naturally nosey personality. lol One of my fave shows on PBS right now is Monarchy. I also love those "reality shows" like 1900's House, where a family (or in a couple of series, a group of families) is made to live by the standards of a certain era. It always amazes me that the people didn't try and research as much as possible about the era after they sent in their application. "What do you mean no shampoo?!" lol
Other interests are anything related to Disney- especially Disneyland, animation, architecture, French Impressionism, cooking, and Christian Apologetics.

Welcome to the Guild! ^_^
I'm exactly the same in the sense of when I see a show that interests me, I have to find out everything I can about it.
I love those shows too! I think it'd be fun to do it.

CH1Y0 Nasuko-San Nice to meet you two! .x.marley.x. I've never heard of you. sweatdrop Yeah...neither have I. Conceited much?Me sir? Conceit sir? no sir, cool sir. I didn't understand a word you just said. Not only did it not make sense as a sentence, but grammatically it made no sense, either. You can say it again in a way that normal humans can understand. biggrin

In short sir I was expressing that I am in fact cool, rather than conceited; as you, yourself, sir suggested.

I said you were concieted.
You said this:
"Me sir? Conceit, sir? No, sir. Cool, sir."
It's like something the weird old man would say if you visited a foreign country and he didn't speak your language.

Hey Everyone.
I'm Nadine, from Victoria in Australia. I'm a 21 year old science student, currently just about to complete a Bachelors Degree with a Double Major (Biotechnology and Environmental Science) at University. I'm a country girl, I enjoy camping, hunting and shooting. The occasional bit of soccer, tennis and horse riding.
I love Australian History, even if I mainly focus on the Military aspect. So hopefully I'll be able to add to the guild with some interesting History.

It's like something the weird old man would say if you visited a foreign country and he didn't speak your language. It was quite simple really. "Me sir?" confirming that I was the subject "Conceit sir?" confirmed that conceit was your chosen descriptive. "No sir" was to deny this and "Cool sir" was a correction; I am in fact cool rather than conceited.

Nas, be nice. She may have chosen an odd way of saying it originally but not to the degree that she should be ridiculed for it.
Is it worth the unease? I would urge both of you to just get on with the fact that things were said, misunderstood or confused and that it was worked out instead of continued in this fashion.
You've been rather on edge lately Nas, try to take a deep breath and chill. Especially here XD
