"Oh, thanks... um... there's no need to do that though..." Kaspar grinned sheepishly, pausing at the door.

The tiger purred cheerfully as he waved a goodnight. "Goodnight.... Oh..." He stopped ears perked realizing he didnt know the others name.... "Um... I didnt catch a name..."

Kaspar smiled and pushed open the door, pausing at Anatu's, "Oh." He blinked in faint surprise then smiled. "It's Kaspar. Good night..." The door rang faintly as it closed behind him.

"Goodnight Kaspar~!" Anatu called after him. Once the other had left he gave a small sigh, tail flicking... Cleaning... Cleaning... Bucking himself up once again he started, finishing in about another half an hour before he finally left the shop... Errrg ~ He hated walking home in the dark alone...

Kaspar was parked down the street. He walked back down the sidewalk, fumbled with keys, waited for the heat to start working. He sat there for the longest time feeling awkward and vaguely stupid. Then realized he was still wearing the book bag and unfastened it. The buckles were in front so he could easily slide it off without damaging his wings. Tossing the bag aside, he remembered the muffin and went back for it, holding it for several minutes before deciding to eat it. The windows were foggy while he ate; he wiped them clean and stared out the window at the lovely night-hued brick face of a shop across the street. When he was done, he wondered how twenty minutes had gone by and how he had eaten a muffin without anything to drink.
When he finally pulled out and drove by Anatu's shop, he was literally closing up shop. Blinking, the angel pulled over down the street and put it in Park. It was an automatic reaction for him to offer a ride home. So he did. Opening the door and glancing up and down the street, he waved and called out to the tiger. "Want a ride?"

Locking the door, he pulled his coat tighter around him, his ears back. Blinking slightly his ears perked as he saw Kaspar up ahead. Why...? Smiling slightly he buried his face into the coat a moment before he started walking towards the car.
Tail flicking as he reached the car he gave a small grin. "Are you sure? We might be going opposite ways."

"Yes well... I could use the practice. I don't suppose you would believe I was just driving by..." It sounded lame, but it was the truth. Oh... probably should not have said anything about practice... he'd just gotten his license such a short time ago. He was good, but still a beginner. "The heating element takes forever to work so I just sat in the car and ate the muffin..."

((Teehee ~ X3 You used Chances color ~ xD ))
He felt... happy. Like it was just this warm feeling on the inside as the tiger grinned burying his face in the coat slightly before glancing at Kaspar again. The tiger was a pretty happy person but normally at the end of the day he just sat at home recuperating for the next day.
Chuckling at the idea of him just driving by he gave a small shrug. "If that's the way it is ~ Id be more than happy to get a ride." Personally he was also a bit relieved finding that he didn't have to walk home alone, in the dark. Ears perking he grinned. "Was it good?" he hoped so.

(( x_X;;; *fixes and pets Kaspar* Sorry... poor thing. xD; <3 ))
"It really is the truth..." Even so, he knew what it sounded like, so his cheeks were appropriately stained as he flashed a grimacing smile at the tiger. Shutting the door and crossing to the other side of the car, he opened the passenger door for Anatu. As he waited for the other to get in and sit down, he leaned lightly on the door. "Yes, it was very tasty. Do you bake them here, or do you have someone deliver them daily?" He could just imagine walking down the street early in the morning and passing through that wonderful smell.
(( Sorry, didn't know what kind of muffin it was... xD; ))

(( x3 Thats fine :3 It works))
Anatu grinned, tail flicking slightly as he stepped off the curb when the door was opened for him. Before sliding into the car, the feline stopped slightly, "We bake them. All the food there is baked there." He gave a nod before sliding into the car resting in his seat, relaxing as it was a bit warming in the car than outside.
Closing his eyes he purred quietly. He loved warm places... which made him wonder why he didnt move somewhere with a warmer climate ~

Kaspar's eyes rolled upward sightlessly at the thought (the baked goods certainly were that good!) for a moment as he mumbled, "Wow..." He glanced back down, and when he was certain the tiger was seated comfortably and out of the way of the door, he shut it tightly then stepped back around to the front of the car. He glanced up and down the street before walking up to his door and climbing in. The car was idling, the heat blowing subtly. "Feel free to adjust the heater to your liking," he said with a grin, watching the feline for a moment before checking his mirrors for the third or sixth time. A new driver, he tended to be cautious that way, even though he knew everything was in order.
After a moment, he looked back at Anatu. "So where are we headed?"

((-giggle- X3 He's soooo cuuute <333 ))
Anatu opened his eyes and glanced at Kaspar, ear flicking lightly, then gave a grin. "Oh no, it's great. As for what way..." He pointed forward. At least they were facing the right direction. "That way. I normally take a short cut when I walk home..." Hence a reason why he tended to scurry. He just didnt want to get caught up in any trouble was all...
Out of curiousity he looked at Kaspar and asked, "Which way is your home?"

(( I knooow... xD ...lmao. I just had a bizarre thought. Them driving past Chance and Dante walking down the street.... X'D
No more schoooool for like, two weeks! 8D <3 ))
"Oh great, we're already in the right direction," the angel laughed a little, oblivious to the tiger's similar thoughts. He put the car into gear and glanced back to make sure the coast was clear before heading out. "All right, just tell me when to turn."
Kaspar glanced back at Anatu before looking out his window for a moment, visualizing. "Kind of back that way," he said, pointing out the tiger's window and behind. He shrugged. "It's no problem though." He would probably not be missed until around midnight if he did not call; everyone knew he was out studying and it was easy to lose track of time. It was not as if he was like Chance, likely out late because he was goofing around, or Emory, who liked to disappear into the woods for days at a time.

(( -gigglesquee- Totally ~ XD
And YAAAAAAY ~! -wiggles happily- <3 ))
"All righty ~" Anatu purred and snuggled into the seat a bit farther, as he looked out the window as Kaspar motioned to the general direction of his home.
"Oh dear ~ Im a bit out of the way." he frowned slightly, though if the angel said it was no problem, then it shouldn't be. He'd just pay him back with baked goods later for the ride.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted two people walking... Ear flicking he did a double take and canted his head to look out the window, pointing slightly. "Thats DANTE!" With ANOTHER PERSON? That was insane!

"Really, it's no trouble," Kaspar assured him with a grin. He resisted the urge to slam on the breaks as Anatu yelled. With an effort he relaxed his shoulders and blinked before looking back at the tiger. "Friend of yours? Want me to stop?" It was then that he glanced in the mirror at two figures on the sidewalk. He saw someone green... and did a double take. "Chance?"
