As suggested before- I will now begin to add vocabulary to my language by means of translating poetry 3nodding I will be looking to many sources for not yet existing words. I will include the English, Alemur, Alemur pronunciation, and word-for-word Alemur-to-English with each post. We will begin with my signature since it is small and simple.

Love at the lips was touch
As sweet as I could bear
And once that seemed too much
I lived upon the air

deliri al uτns sτn σei sensa
ik miθ ke lo kwo uo sτn kapsi bari
~to be continued (when I don't have to leave right now)~

deh-leer-ee ahl wihns sihn shay sen-sah
eek mith kay loh kwo wo sihn kap-see bah-ree

Love [located at] lips is [a feeling]
[equal in] sweetness [compared to] it which I can withstand

Note that even though a word has been chosen for a certain meaning does not mean it is necessarily permanent. I am open to listen to any suggestions. Many of these words were simply the best I could come up with while busy and with little time.

I personally do not want to change my word for "love" (deliri sounds perfect for the emotion, as it makes many people delirious). I love the word deliri and it is to remain. As for just about every other word- suggest away. I don't really like some of my verbs.

And if anyone can suggest another verb ending, that would be appreciated. I've found it annoying to have to end every verb in -i. But what should the other verb's conjugations look like? If it's -e, should the negative be -nae? Or something original? This is where I'm looking for help.

It's a conlang in the making, people biggrin

Oh- and I have some webspace now, so once I get time I can begin to program a website for this stuff. I'll have a page for grammar references, one with a PHP-powered dictionary, and one for suggestions/additions. As well as thank you pages for everyone who has made the language grow.

We're still in baby stages, but I like what we have. By the time I'm out of college I may be able to speak this among my friends.

uo σei hir

"I am here" = "I have returned"

Spent quite a while away... A long while. And truthfully- I'm not really back. I just happened to have plenty of time to get on gaia and make sure my old guilds weren't dead. The language has seen little development in my absence, however it has not been forgotten. I am still in need of vocabulary. I again implore- if anyone has suggestions for replacing currently existing words, please tell me. I want this language to be aesthetically pleasing, but I am not as creative as I would wish.
