Ookai paused for a minute and blinked. He hadnt even thought about a proper greeting. He smiled and laughed,"Ookai. Nice ta meet chya man," he held his hand out to shake.

The canine one smiled a little when the other said that. "Nice... to meet you, too," he assured, taking the hand to shake, though he was just a little nervous about it.

"So... out of your normal shyness and whatnot, what are your hobbies?" Ookai wondered what special talents or something this one might be hiding. A few back home were shy but had a few things they were good at and praised for.

"Umm..." the canine began, trying to think of something he could do. "I... eh... I don't think so." He trailed off, beginning to drag his foot in the dirt a little.

The blond male simply bowed his head a little, scratching at the back of his neck. He really was beginning to get nervous just thinking about it, but he wasn't about to lie. "I... I like... to... sing," he barely breathed, almost as though he thought it a crime to admit.

"Sing? That's cool. I don't think anyone back home sings. Though if any of em did I havent heard," he laughed.

Though still nervous, the canine seemed slightly less shocked when the other hadn't chastised him. He smiled--just a little--and seemed not to be quite so edgy, anymore. "I... eh... don't think I'm any good... but you know. I just... like to."

The canine seemed somehow comforted by that, nodding in agreeance. "Heh... yeah... sometimes," he admitted. "When I have... a song stuck in my head... or something."

"Only good songs though. If I have a song in my head I dont like, I blast a song I do like,"Ookai laughed. "You know... there is someone at my house that sings, I totally forgot. Maybe you two could get together and make a song or something, he can play guitar too."

Startled quite a bit by the offer, the canine one became... rather sheepish, hearing it. "Oh... I don't think I could ever perform on-stage, or even for a microphone. It's something I do in my spare time, if ever..."

A slight noise came forth from his lips, though his mouth was closed tightly. He scratched at the back of his neck, looking very pensive when faced with such a decision.
"I... eh... I wouldn't... h-have to perform in front of people... would I?"

Ookai smiled, "You dont have to perform in front of anyone if you dont want to. If you wanted to make a cd though, you'd have to be in a room with at least one other person and a microphone."
