Morri laughed at Gokudera's idea of a Death God. "Amusing, but no," she said. She shrugged. "I suppose it's normal enough for a fifteen-year-old to believe something like that, though," she agreed. "I mean, I never did, but then again, I died young and pretty much grew up in Soul Society. I knew what Shinigami were from a young age." She shrugged. "As for Hibari striking fear--I highly doubt he can scare me, unless he grows a Hollow mask...or somehow transforms into Ichimaru Gin," she added with a shudder.
"Who is this Ichimaru person that Morri is so scared of?" Chii asked.
"My Captain," she said. "Or rather, the ex-Captain of my Squad. He's always been creepy--and now he's a traitor, to boot."
"Traitor," Chii repeated. "What does this word mean?"
Morri thought for a moment. "Chii, you do things for Hideki, right?"
"Yes," the Persecom answered. "Chii does many things for Hideki."
"You like Hideki?"
"Yes," Chii said, smiling. "Chii likes Hideki very much."
"Would you ever do anything to hurt Hideki?"
"No!" Chii replied, sounding appalled at the idea. "Chii would never hurt Hideki! Chii likes to see Hideki happy!"
"A traitor is someone who seems to like people, but when something happens that they believe works out to their advantage, they hurt those people they pretend to care about. My ex-Captain is one of those people."
"A traitor is bad, then?" Chii asked innocently. "Traitors hurt people?"
"Yes Chii," Morri said. "And sometimes it isn't physically hurting them, but betraying them in another way that hurts just as much."
"Traitors...can hurt your heart?" Chii asked.
"Yes," Morri answered. "Yes, Chii, they can hurt your heart very much."
"Chii's heart hurts when Hideki is sad," Chii informed her.
Morri blinked, confused as to how a robot's heart could hurt, reinforcing her opinion that she was not like any robot she had ever imagined. Deciding she would ask her later, she turned her attention to the "stray" Ichigo had brought back.
"This is, in fact, Japan," she said. "Karakura Town in Tokyo, to be exact. What was it like where you came from? What's your name?"

This enraged Ichigo no end. Unable to hol himself down, he spun to face Saito, growling "What was that?! I'm sorry, I didn't hear right. It sounded like you just called me an idiot!"

"You are an idiot, Ichigo." Hirami replied flatly, folding her arms beneath her breasts.

He spun back towards her "You shut up!!"

Rukia just sweatdropped. "Now, Hirami...Ichigo...let's not get carried away....I'm sure Saito-San didn't mean anything by it, thre's no reason to get all defensive..."

Allen made a face at the whole mess, resolving to stay out of it. Lavi, however, had different plans.

"Yeah! That fire guy called you an idiot, I heard him! Go get 'im, Berry Head!! Knock his block off!"

Allen jumped in surprise, turning to his fellow exorcist. "Lavi-Kun! You're going to make him angrier!"

He just laughed, saying "Good! They're gonna fight anyway, I can tell! So why not get some enjoyment out of it, eh Bean Sprout?!"

"Lavi...Kun....." Allen said, making another face.

Morri rubbed her temple as Ichigo began yelling again.
"What's that supposed to mean anyway?! First I'm an idiot, and now you don't know how I lasted this long?! What the--"
Morri smacked Ichigo in the back of the head.
"Ow! What the hell was that for?!"
"For giving me a headache," Morri replied. "And for starting arguments over trivial things. Let's face it, Strawberry, sometimes you can be a bit dense, and yes, sometimes you're a complete moron, even. It's nothing to get so worked up over. He has a point; you need to learn to control your temper. Anger won't win you every fight. I will admit that it helps you sometimes, and it fuels your determination, but that kind of anger over something so small could get you killed. I haven't lasted this long on anger alone, and you won't either."
Ichigo growled, wanting to yell at her, but said nothing.
Inuyasha scoffed. "I don't know," he said. "Anger can get you pretty far, in my experience..."
"And you're an idiot too," Sesshomaru commented.
"Hey!" Inuyasha said, growling as he rounded on the demon. "You stay out of this! What do you know about it, anyway?"
"Your anger has almost gotten you killed you several times, Inuyasha," he said. "Some of those times were by my hand."
Inuyasha growled again. "Shut up," he said childishly.
Sesshomaru only rolled his eyes, saying nothing.

Morri sighed. "I think Kurotsuchi would love to make them test subjects," she said. "However, I also think he might have one hell of a time trying to do so if we tell him no. Ichigo alone could kick his a**--add in the Fourth and Fifth seats of Third division, plus Rukia who's only unseated in the Thirteenth because Byakuya is worried for her safety, and anyone else we feel a need to drag into this, not to mention the group themselves, no way would he be able to do it."
Chii blinked, tilting her head slightly to one side. "Experiments?" she repeated. "Would these experiments involve computers?"
Morri looked at her. "Some of them," she said. "Why?"
"Chii can handle computers," the Persecom said cryptically. "Chii can not be harmed by computers. Chii can use the computers to protect herself."
"Good," Morri said. "Then that's even less chance they'll be able to hurt you."

Morri laughed. "Oh, come on, Rukie! He might be an a*****e sometimes, but Byakuya does love you after all. Why else would you be unseated but for him wanting to protect you?"
Chii tilted her head again. "What does 'seated' mean?" she asked. "The only meaning for 'seated' Chii knows is when someone is sitting down. Does this word have another meaning?"
Morri smiled. "Yes, Chii," she said. "When a Shinigami is 'seated', it means they're one of the strongest of their Squad, or group. I'm Fourth Seat of Third Squad. That means there are only four other people in my Squad who are stronger. Hirami is Fifth Seat of Third Squad, which means that there are four people stronger than her."
"Chii understands," the persecom said sweetly, smiling.
Morri began to wonder if perhaps there was something different about Chii. The girl was amazingly cute, and seemed to know almost nothing about how the world worked. She was...innocent, almost childlike. Were robots supposed to be like that, or was it just Chii?
Inuyasha raised his eyebrows at Morri. "So you're pretty strong, huh?" he commented.
Morri raised a single eybrow at him. "Well yes, I suppose I am...why do you ask?"
"No reason," he said, turning away. "Just wondering."
Morri rolled her eyes, but said nothing, looking to Sesshomaru. He just shook his head.
"Inuyasha has a slight problem with ego," the demon informed her. "He feels a need to save everyone."
Morri laughed while Inuyasha reddened, yelling, "I do not!"
Morri laughed harder. "Sounds like Ichigo," she commented.
"Hey!" Ichigo yelled.
She just looked at him. "Don't deny it, Strawberry. It's nothing to be ashamed of...just not something that most people come out of without getting themselves in trouble."
Ichigo reddened then, but said nothing.
