angel_of_joy i have a dog, he is 18 years old, he isn't named after the phantom but sometime he acts like it. he hids in the basement and sometimes walks around the house with a blanket he was sleeping with over his back like a cape... he's black and white and well yeah he's old and crazy like the phantom... here he is!   Doggie cuteness! eek heart *cuddles doggie*

My brother just got a hamster and named her Sasha.... that is the name of Erik's dog in Susan Kay's "Phantom."

Oh my, this thread made me get teary eyed when I saw it.
I had a black gerbil with a white face named Erik, but a few days ago he DIED! *wail*
And I have a white gerbil named CHristine and they made tons of babies and I still have all the babies.
But Christine ran away, so she's just a regegade gerbil running through the house right now. Sometimes I catch sight of her.
*sniffle* Now I'm sad... I recently gave away my kitty, who's name is Ayesha, to a family who's cat had died. I didn't have time for her so I gave her to them because they would be able to pamper and spoil her like she deserves.
WAH I MISS MY ERIK AND AYESHA! *sob wail*

 This is my rabbit... her real name does not relate to Phantom...but her nickname does. Her nickname is Nosey! XD She has enough nose to make up for Erik's lsot one... and there she is.. hanging out in my mask...  This is my dog Clark, not a phantom name but he's got that half mask thing going on... his markings are all messed up for his breed.  And not a pet, but this is my Erik bear. I made the mask myself... oh! And when you press his hand, he sings! Yup "The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside you mind"

Okay, I just have to show off Phantom, my doggy. But first, some background information. I run a pit bull rescue for abused/previously fighting dogs of the pit bull breed, and Phantom is one of the dogs I've had for the longest time. He had been a fighting dog, and when the local police broke up a fighting ring, they found Phantom in a back washroom of the house that the fight was occuring at, half-dead and in a puddle of his own blood. Apparently he lost and they just chucked him back there. The local vet called me after they got him stablized and asked if I wanted to come look at him, otherwise they were just going to put him down due to the fact that he was a fighting dog and probably aggressive, and also because the surgeries that he was going to need would be very expensive. I drove down to look at the poor guy and immediately told them that I'd take him if he pulled through the surgeries. Part of his face had been torn off in the fight, and a lot more had to be cut away as it was unable to be saved. He's become the greatest dog though, he was a bit aggressive and really shy and uncomfortable around people and my other dogs, but he's gone from growling and hiding in the corner when there are people in the house to running up to guests, jumping on their chests and washing their faces for them. He plays with my other dogs, including my six month old puppy, and he sleeps right between me and my husband in bed at night. He's a doll! Here's a pic of the big baby.  Isn't he handsome?! He's such a cutie!

You can't really tell that he's missing part of his face...that's amazing! mrgreen I don't have any pets that have Phantom related names, but my dog Princess and my brother's dog Shadow have an Erik/Christine type of relationship. He wants to control her, but she just wants to do her own thing is a little bit of a coward!

Ah, I have two ducks that're 'mine'. But I wouldn't exactlly call them traditional 'pets', since they're in a big ol' mixed up group of other ducks, mainly white and some gray and white ones. The two that're mine are the only black ones out of our 16 ducks! @_@ They're a male and a female, I haven't decided on the female's name but I've named the male Don Juan ^^ Sadly, I don't have a photo yet. But he is mainly black with a speckled white chest. (Reminds me of a tuxedo kind of, lol) Oh and when in sunlight, he casts a green sheen (ecspecially his head) and on his wings he has deep purple, a blue, and a kind of turquoise-y to teal color on different parts of the wings. He is very pretty, I think ^^ but yeah, really hard to describe whee
