This is completely irellevant to everone, but I intently dislike 1 party, called national. They are rumoured to have their polocies written by americans who want our Nuclear Free Law ditched. *Stabs National* Lolz. I actually mentioned Politics? *Takes Medicine* I took my puppy for his first walk today. He was so cute running out there along the river 4laugh Ok, thats my rant for the Day/Night/Now. ***** The hurricane is back on Tv. Aparrently it is back to being a 4, but that is scary. Poor America. crying Poor Mississippi. poor Snap. Hope you'll all be ok. *Has wizard of oz flashback* And if you see a green Witch, throw the bucket of water on her.

Snaptastic Woot! I still have power! The storm's almost gone from the area and we're okay here. Biloxi didn't fare so well and I'm hearing that alot of places have been completely destroyed and that casino barges have been thrown from the water onto the highway. All of the roads are closed because of trees or collapsed under the water, so we're going to wait this out and I'm planning to drive home with my parents to make sure the house is okay and to help clean up what I can.
We're all safe tho, and that's what's important. ^_^

Glad to know you are Ok.
My mom rode out the storm at her work in Gulfport where there was a lot of damage.
My dad lives in Gretna, which is the west bank of New Orleans.
He actually stayed in his house instead of evacuating. When I spoke with him he told me that the houses there had major wind damage and there was flooding all over the place. He had approx 6 inches of water in every room of the house and the roof of his shed was torn off, while the next-door neighbor's whole shed is in the swimming pool.
Going through 3 hurricanes here in Florida last year taught me that there are still some dangers out there.
As I said to them, please be safe during the clean up and take care. 3nodding

My parents refused to let me follow them home--insisting that if they need something, then I''ll be better off here because I can buy things and then take them out there. I''m eagerly waiting to hear if they got home okay and if the house is still there. Cell phone service is messed up tho--so I don''t know if I''ll hear from them soon. sweatdrop
I''m going to try and make some ID cards, and when I finish those, I''ll work on a few more tutorials. ^_^
