Gracie was definitely not a chef by any means. She didn't make a whole lot of stuff, but grilled cheese she could do well enough. "Is it an odd combo? I thought everyone ate tomato soup with grilled cheese?" She looked at him then went to the cupboards to look for stuff to use.
After a few minutes of clambering about, she had a nifty little lunch almost ready. Then, she realized she didn't get plates or bowls. She scrounged around. As she looked around, she was thinking to herself if it scores points with guys still if you make them food or not. Heck.. she was about to score points with herself for some good eats!

He shook his head. "Nope. I think I can officially say you're the only one who does that," he said with a laugh, resting his chin in his palm as he watched her. "In fact, I know of one girl who would tell you you're ruining the grilled cheese." His tail flicked,but he had an amused smile on his face.

Gracie almost dropped the spoons she had found. "Ruin? The grilled cheese. Cheese can never be ruined unless it gets moldy. And, then shame on anyone for letting cheese linger around long enough to get moldy. I mean... Cheese makes everything better."
She flexed her eyebrows and wiggled them. She walked over to him and set a plate with a grilled cheese, and she put a small cup of soup next to him. She gave herself a rather large bowl of soup with hers since she knew she would like it. Her tail swayed back and forth behind her. "Does this mean we are buddies or friends now? Since we've played games and are eating together?"

He laughed. "Oh, she wouldn't argue with that fact. That's why she'd say you were ruining the grilled cheese, covering over the cheese with soup." He thanked her and took a bite, following it up with a sip of soup. "Hey, it's not bad."
Looking up as she asked her question, he grinned. "Yeah, I suppose you could say that~"

For the first time that day, she momentarily calmed down and acted like a normal person. She just hummed to herself happily as she ate her soup. It had been taking time, but she was meeting people. She felt just a little less lonely. George sure was a nice guy. Maybe they'd meet up for food sometimes. Food sure moved her world. Food... and music.

Humming to himself, George ate the rest of his food, tail swishing. Downing the last bit of the soup, he stood to take his bowl and plate to the counter, stopping to scoop up hers as well. "Dun da dun da dunnnnh. Back in black~"

Gracie put away the stuff they used to eat with in the sink. She glanced back at him quickly, and then she looked back at what she was putting away. Meeting George had totally made her day. What's more... He was terribly cute, and Gracie was feeling a mix of: 1 that maybe she should go, so she wouldn't over stay her welcome.. and 2 that she just wanted to be his shadow for a little while...
If nothing else, she did have a lot of fun with him. He was great company. She walked back to where he had been sitting to eat. She looked at him keenly, and her tail just coiled around her legs. She inwardly told herself, ~don't be a dork... don't say something stupid... let's not embarrass ourselves.. ><~ Yet... She just wanted to say something. "This has been the best day ever. I hope there are lots more of these to come." ~was that a little much? i dunno.. I don't wanna be too sentimental and make him not wanna talk to me anymore~
