The original isn't always better and neither is the most recent. It took Squaresoft until FFVII to get it right. Then FFVIII came. I've been told it went down after FFIX. Never played anything else after VIII though.

The first part is true...It also depends on the person's opinion whether they like the game or not.

I kinda like the gameboy's Fire Emblem graphics better than the Wii ones... Maybe cause I can alter them xD

Dersephy, I love your glomp defense thing. It always makes me laugh when I watch it because it reminds me of when I try and hug my friends. xD

dersephy If we argued simply on quality, not sentimental value or anything like that, Brawl is tons better than the first. the graphics are obviously leaps and bounds better, the sound in phantasmagorical (so many awesome tracks!!), gameplay has been vastly improved upon, more characters, more stages, more balance, online smashing, map editor, saved replays, awesome single player story mode, co-op, more items, more strategy, more fun! just because something is the original, doesn't make it the best. brawl has everything the first had and more. I didn't say it was the best because it is the original. Excluding AI I think the fighting in the original is just better. I would compare newer Smash games to the FPS Quake III Arena when using the superspeed or whatever cheat. You no longer have time to use your skill at aiming, so you just spin around shooting in the general direction of the people you are trying to kill. It's not that there is no skill involved in the newer smash games...it is just a much smaller factor. Shinikaze The original isn't always better and neither is the most recent. VIII was a terrible game. And honestly...I think that the first Final Fantasy could easily be the best if they remade the game with nice graphics and focused on the story. The first game had the best story imo, but they were very vague when it came to the story.

The game is fairly fun but After playing for like 20 minutes it became real boring. It didn't live up to my expecteactions but maybe that was because my friend kept choosing his stikin lame custom made courses. I don't own it but wish I did but I don't even have a wii either so... Sereni Kitty Brawl. Is. Amazing. It makes me so happy! It's almost as awesomesause as the original N64 version I got hooked on years ago! XD I like the use of the word 'almost' in this post. lol

Haha, but it's true! I was playing brawl last night, and we knocked off the computer and my other friend and took forever to kill eachother off. xd Ended up being a 35 minute board

Brawl is great! I love it!
My brothers always kicked my butt on the other SSB games because they knew how to use the characters better, but this time, I learned with them how to play. I can actually win this time sometimes! Lol. There was one battle I kicked butt with Kirby when I got the smash orb like five times in a row. It was great!

BTW Everyone.....White and Pink colored Captain Falcon was, is, and always will be the best Smash Brothers character.
