Celaeno Streamjumper L0k1 Celaeno L0k1 Streamjumper Celaeno Does anyone know if they have plans to release the game in the US? I believe they are. Only a rumor, but a reputable one at least. If your talking about the ps2 one, then yeah....I heard it should be out by Christmas. Though if you want an exact date, just look somewhere....like gamefaqs or somethin.... No idea if they're coming up with a PC release? I've no intention of buying one of the accursed game consols, least of which a PS2.I doubt it, most anime games are on ps2 these days. What happened to the times where we could play FF on our beloved computers? crying The sales generated by the computer market weren't enough to justify the expenses of porting it to the PC, I guess. After all, when you develop for a console you'll potentially be selling copies of that game for a few years whereas a PC will generate some initial sales (not incredibly many though, since a lot of pc exclusive gamers are snobs who refuse to play games availible on consoles) also, porting means that you've gotta take a game designed to work on only one set of specs and adapt it to fairly wide range of specs... sometimes more money than its worth. And when you've got a product that enough people want, you can make them come to you. Damn snobs are ruining my fun! scream Honestly, I think its better off all around when development intensive games are kept primarily to one system. Game quality tends to be higher, prices tend to be a tad lower, and if its a game you simply must have, then its easy enough to get the system it comes on. Please tell me you're not a Segahead who still holds the death of the DC against Sony when it was really Sega's gross mismanagement and total disregard to the misplaced loyalty of their fans... Side note: The day I first heard that Sega was making the DC, I predicted that it'd die after a year or two when Sega killed it and stabbed all their fans in the back. Sega's swearing off making consoles forever was a bonus stab in the back to everyone who was determined to help it kill every other system on the market. I learned my lesson about those bastards back in the days of the Genesis... there was no way they were fooling me as second time especially after I saw them reward the loyalty of everyone who bought the Saturn.

I will repeat my previous statement: I don't use any consol systems, period. This includes Dreamcast. This isn't a snob thing. I have solid reasons for not wanting the things in my life.
1. I don't like the majority of the games, for ANY of the systems. I'm not an avid gamer, I don't purchase games more than three or four times a year, so just using my PC doesn't really hurt me.
2. I'm in no position to pay for the systems and games. They're already expensive enough, I don't need to add it to my bills. At least I can write off the costs of my computer as work/class-related. I'm never going to get away with "PS2 helps me use Photoshop."
3. I don't have the time for the games anyway. In this fashion, my computer is a time leech.
4. Did I mention the costs?
If it really comes down to me wanting to play a certain game and there's no emulator, I can go and use a friend's system. But that has yet to happen.

You didn't mention whether your console opposition was a recent thing or longstanding. You also seem to harbor a particular hate-on for Sony. Hence, despite a suspicion, I phrased it as a question. The Sega-Kamikaze squad often sounds like that. You've seen me in action, do I strike you as someone who pussyfoots around when believe something for sure?

I have no hatred for Sony, except for possibly their high prices on electronics that I wish I could afford. I do, however, reserve a strong sense of hatred towards PS2 gamers, but it applies to gamers for all systems who feel that bathing is low on the list of weekly activities, and that "OMG! LARA CR0FT iS T3H HOT!!!1!!!" But then, I harbor the same feeling for people who tell me to graduate to real games on real consol systems, because apparently computers are beneathe them, and I tend to get that crap from PS2 gamers for more often than any others.

I started out with PC games, but as the consoles got more and more popular, it's become increasingly difficult for me to find decent games on PC that don't require me to upgrade my computer by about $400-$500, when I can play all the enjoyable games I can find for upwards of $300 a console and now $200 (SIC) a handheld. I end up not having to upgrade more than once every 3 years too. Now sure, some of the best games do come out on PC, but anymore they're brought over to the consoles, and more recently just easily converted to X-box format, rather than an overly complex conversion system. In the long run, consoles are slowly killing PC games, but PC games will never die out, but they're getting extensively butchered by the console gaming market.

PC games are becoming increasingly popular in the European market, and I've thought about trying to get ahold of import titles. Consols can't kill PCs, they can only make them lie in wiat for the moment to strike. Sadly, now that consols can go online, that dormant period has re-emerged.

I demand resolution! *Just finished rewatching it* GRRAAHH!! The movies better damn well wrap up everything. I was left very unsatisfied by a lot of the last episode. For one thing, I found no closure in it. For another, a lot of loose ends are left. It never really shows what happened to Dante and Gluttony, even if it implied that they both kicked the bucket. And Wrath is still wandering around.
"I'm nigh immortal, have metal arms, am constantly filled with ever burning rage and am bored out of my mind. I wish Winry'd installed Solitare on my arm..."
I didn't really like the end. I mean, the London thing was fine with me, though my sister hated it. I just think they left too much open.

Right now, I feel the whole deal with the Homunculus is pretty much closed, since I could give a rat's a** about Wrath. I just want to know what happens to each of the characters in general. Especially what happens to Ed and Al. gonk

So eh... I have a few random things to say/ask about FMA.
Firstly regarding the Homunculi. I know who created Sloth (Ed and Al), Wrath (Izumi), Lust (Scar's brother), Greed (Crazy Old Lady), and Envy (Hohenheim (sp?)). So who made Pride and Gluttony? Was it the Crazy Old Lady?
How comes Ed could perfrom human transmutation without the Philosophers stone? Is it because he's just that damn good? Or is it because of the love for his brother?
And finally... Will Ed and Al ever see each other again? crying

Ed can't perform human transmutation. The thing he does is switch places with Al when bringing him back from the gate. Equivalent exchange by giving up certain memories of Al's and his own body.
I would like to know that as well.

Anyways, I think it's a great show. My favorite at the moment.
