"Well... good! Patience is... good!" Haya stalled awkwardly. He wasn't really sure what to say at all now. He had lost his momentum and now was confronted with the reality of speaking to a filly he barely knew. He tilted his head to one side, then another. Nope. He still had nothing to say... and his run had started to be much longer than he had anticipated.
"Iiiiiiii should probably get back to my baskets soon. Their mom might want a switch off so she can get some fresh air."

Alyna grinned. "And I'd better head back, before I get in too much trouble. Lyka is going to be furious when I get home." She sighed before smiling again. "Well, I guess this is goodbye. Maybe we'll see each other again someday."
Alyna knew that she would be needed back at home, and that for today's adventure she would be grounded for quite a while. But it was worth it. She had learned a lot from this chance encounter, and she knew in her heart that she would see Haya again someday. Maybe she'd be old enough by then for him to tell her all of his story. Alyna's spirits lifted as she turned, headed for grassy plains and willow trees, and the tepee that she called home.
