She couldn’t help, but frown when little Antoinette had seemingly come to the conclusion that she would settle for Gryffindor because she wasn’t smart. Zofia took that as a stab to the heart, “Gryffindor is a brave house and also holds its own on smarts. Ravenclaw is just best known for it’s intellect. My former house was that of Gryffindor!” she smiled proudly at mentioning that fact. She couldn’t help, but feel this one would end up in Hufflepuff, she was seemingly very nice and curious…

Taking a moment to ponder all of the girls questions when she finally stopped shooting them, she ran her fingers through her lightly curly hair.

“Well first off it is nice to meet you Antoinette with no last name.” she paused then went on. “What I will be teaching this year is Charms, so no matter what you will unfortunately have to suffer my wrath, I offer my condolences in advance” she smiled warmly.”

But how could one describe Hogwarts? “Well… hum… Hogwarts, how should I describe it? I can’t think of one best way. It’s, well lovely in all it’s aspects! There is a great dinning hall which you will eat in every day. A lake with giant squid! Staircases that move and room that come and go according to day, time, moon phase, or whenever they please! I’m sorry, I’m probably doing a horrible job at describing this too you, but soon enough what ever you are feeling now will become even stronger and no matter what it will always be there, maybe tucked away in past memory, but will you always be able to remember your feelings on when you first lay eyes upon Hogwarts.”

It was then that she realized she had gotten a bit off subject, which would most likely be the common theme within classes. She skipped over her feeling on gay marriage feeling discussing the topic with such a young student wouldn’t be all that appropriate and went on to tell about the ghosts.

“Yes of course there are all sorts of ghosts floating around the castle… lets see… there is Nearly Headless Nick, he is the Gryffindor house ghost. Then there is The Bloody Baron of Slytherin House, The Fat Friar of Hufflepuff, The Gray Lady of the Ravenclaw House, Moaning Myrtle, Peeves… but he is a poltergeist, Professor Binns… and well then there are others that just stop by to visit every now and then”

“Now Slytherins aren’t always the nicest lot, but they’re not all bad eggs, but every now and then…” she trailed off

“As for Muggleborns, most of the schools population is at lest half Muggle to full Muggle! I myself am mostly Muggle… I would call myself a watered down half blood. Muggles are like you or I, but they know things we do not as we know things they do not. So if anything try to learn what you can from one other”

She gave a soft smile, those were words her mother had once spoke to her, “So how did I do with answering your question? Do you have anymore?” she assumed she would.

Train!

Antoinette bobbed her head. "I didn't mean it as an insult. My mom was in Ravenclaw. My dad went to Durmstrang. My step mothers were both in Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw." She paused, thinking of more questions.
"What is Nearly Headless Nick like? Is it true that Hogwarts nearly closed? Is there really a chamber of secrets? What about the giant squid? Have you seen it? Are they really keeping the tri-wizard tournament going? When is the next one? What about Quidditch? Can I join the house team?" She stopped. About every five questions was good right?
Gavroche screeched and fluttered in his cage. Antoinette stopped bobbing up and down. The questions had slowed to a trickle. It was strange when that happened. When you had a source of information you usually forgot the things you wanted to know. Dad always had that problem at the muggle music store. He kept asking for music that wasn't there when he wanted something like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.

Still in the station, on the train
*Ediited

She smiled at the girl, “I foresee Hufflepuff” she paused then did a slight imitation of the sorting hat, “These belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal.
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil…” she had no clue how she had remember that though all the years.

“Now as for Nearly Headless Nick, you shell just have to wait and meet him yourself. Trust me, it will be much better that way!”

It took her a few moments to conjure up what she would say to the next few questions. “Yes Hogwarts nearly closed, actually it nearly closed three different times. Two of which where when the Chamber of Secrets were opened and the other when Voldemort lead his army to try and defeat the noble wizards we read about in text books and others of sorts. Which I also guess that covers the subject of if the Chamber of Secrets is real, but don’t get any ides of going looking for it and trying to open it, you wouldn’t want to go getting expelled, but if you want to know the real first hand stories about it…” she paused debating weather or not to give out this little piece of information. She decided to. “You would have to talk to Myrtle about that, but do be careful… she’s a bit sensitive.” another pause, “Also don’t share that information with anyone else”, but she knew this information would be eventually shard by her egger eyed student, as long as it didn’t get out of hand no harm would come.

“The giant squid is more or less just there… I’ve never had an encounter with it, but I assume others have, but yes I’ve seen.”

“Now how did you hear about the Tri-Wizard Tournament? Aren’t you a little young to be thinking about such a thing? However, the Tournament was started so long back that well it’s hard to remember exactly when it happened, though it was put to an ends in 1792, or so everyone thought. It wasn’t till 1994 that it was brought back into being by old Headmaster Dumbledore, may he rest in peace, brought it back, trying to find some sort of peace within the world that was being sought after by Voldemort. I could go into greater detail, but I’ll just give you the jest of things, seeing you will eventually learn about these events.”

“But within that single tournament many things went horribly wrong, their was a fourth player thrown in, a boy died, and many things because of one night changed the complete course of history, though I believe it would have eventually happened. But since then the tournament has been tried off on and now there is no set pattern to when it might happen. It use to be every five years.”

“Now as Quidditch goes it is a very rare thing that a first year will land a spot on the team, there is only a handful of us in which this has happed to throughout the course of Hogwarts history.” she couldn’t help but smile, it was one of her proudest moments her first year that she had attended Hogwarts, along with one of the best through out her time spent there. “You can try to join, but they most likely wont even allow you to try out till you are in your second year.”

“How was that for your questions? Have anymore?” she looked up at the owl, “When was the last time…” she searched her mind for the name, “Gavroche ate? It’s looking a bit hungry… if you have an owl snack now would be a good time to fork it over to the owl” she looked back at Antoinette.

((Fourth player thrown in, not fifth))
Antoinette's head bobbed up and down throughout this. She'd had way too much time with her textbooks over the summer, Hogwarts A History being one of her favorites, she had tons of random facts floating around her head but they weren't exactly connected in a conscious manner.
"Where does money come from? I mean, how does a government determine how much money they have?" she asked. It was a question that came up when she was thinking about The Louisiana whilst her parents were talking about politics.
It was a random memory that popped up with a random question. Like the others it came out before she even had a chance to think about it. She reached in her bag and pulled out some owl nuts. She stood on top of the seat and reached up to the cage. She couldn't see it, and she appeared to be leaning backwards to reach it. She grasped the shelf with one hand, feeding Gavroche with the other.

Train! biggrin

Lark clambored onto the train, with the help of Evan, then her brothers took their own ways, seeing as they all had different friends. She was left alone in the hall and was suddenly scared, what if she couldn't make any friends? She looked up and down the corridor, dragging her trunk, she looked for a nice enough compartment. She saw on where there was an older lady, most likely a teacher, and a new student there. She decided on that one, she opened the door, her face growing hot.

"Mind if I share with you guys?" Her face grew still hotter, she became painfully shy around new faces. She took a few steps in, waiting for their answer.

The Locomotive which takes us to Hogwarts... A.K.A THE Maaaaagggiiiccccc Train!

Antoinette leaned backwards, using both hands to grasp the shelf now. She looked at Lark, smiling.
"Of course you can!" She carefully stepped down and stood next to Lark, who dwarfed her by about five inches. She didn't seem to mind though as she plopped back down on the train bench.
"Are you a first year too?" She asked cheerfully, beginning to bounce again. Gavroche screeched at the new arrival and tucked his head under his wing in a 'I don't get paid enough for this' manner.

Train

"Yeah, first year," she said, managing a small smile. She went over to the window and set her trunk down in the corner. She turned to Antionette. "I'm Lark Banker, what's your name?" She said to the two people in the compartment.

((Sorry for the shortness... lack of anything else to say at the moment...
sweatdrop ))

Train... where else would she be?

"Antoinette Baudin." Antoinette confirmed this with a brisk nod. "And my owl Gavroche. What house do you think you're going to be in?" She asked, a bit slowly, she really didn't want to overwhelm her fellow student. A teacher she was sure could handle fast paced questions, but an eleven year old girl like her probably couldn't.
Gavroche fell asleep. Antoinette looked out the window. How long did it take for people to board? It was a five hour ride! She wanted to get to Hogwarts soon!

"I hope to be in Hufflepuff, what about you?" She asked the girl. She sat down across from her and looked out the window, her parents already left.

Platform 9 ¾ / train

Through all the weeks and months Ronyo had been preparing to go to Hogwarts. He had obtained all his school supplies and had packed all his things. Now the white haired boy stood just on the platform of 9 ¾. His father had already said his goodbyes and had to leave for work. Ronyo looked at Xander curled around his neck.

“Well then, shall we?”

The boy stepped onto the train with the last few students rushing to make the train. Ronyo had been late do to his dad having to take off work. Being in the Aurors didn’t make it easy to take of days, but Randalf had managed to get away for a few moments to take his son to the station.

Upon boarding the famous train Ronyo saw many of the compartments already taken. As he walked on he caught one that only had three people in it. Opening the door slightly Ronyo gave a smile.

“Any chance I could sit here? Oh, and pleased to meet you all, I’m Ronyo Storm and this is Xander,” The fox looked up and glanced around the small compartment, then went back to sleep.

((I apologies for keeping everyone, I’m glad this Rp is still in full gear. Shall we away to Hogwarts then?))

((*looks around* well... that depends, I'm all for it! But what about the others?))
Antoinette smiled at the new arrival. "Sure!" Gavroche screeched again. Antoinette grabbed more owl nuts. "I'm Antoinette Baudin!" She stepped onto the train bench. "This is Gavroche!" She fed Gavroche the nuts, trying to think. She wondered what would've happened if she'd gone to Beauxbatons instead. She'd been accepted, but the Hogwarts letter came first. She looked at Gavroche and pulled him down.
She sat back down on the bench with Gavroche in her lap. She hugged the cage to her chest and looked at the little owl. She'd never really gotten a good look at him.
He was tiny, about the size of her fist, and a shiny shade of gray. Black feathers peppered his wings and tail, and his eyes were a light butterscotch. His mouth was a tiny, and obviously sharp, beak made for eating whatever it ate.

"Hi Ronyo, I'm Lark," she introduced herself to the newcomer. She heard Casper scratching about in his cage. She reached and let him out, he was a pure white short hair cat with a fluffy tail. "This is Casper," she said, holding him up.

((ooc: I must ask all of you NOT TO CHANGE ANYTHING WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I recieved one small PM just offhandedly mentioning that you had moved to the train, and you did not wait for my 'OK.' As nice as I am, and as willing as I am to compromise, we need to keep some order so that this thing does not fall apart at the seams. Yes, that means that you cannot just switch the setting on whim. We hardly have any members yet! Please please PLEASE ask me first.

As for the current time, since we cannot turn this thing around...

1) The train has NOT LEFT YET. Repeat, THE TRAIN HAS NOT LEFT. You may RP chatting together and getting settled, but the train is still in the station.

2) New joiners may still come and post being at home and in other parts of the Wizarding World.

3) I may allow people that "missed the train" to just post a quick intro and pick up at home, on the train, or in school as if they had been there all along.))

Still waiting on the train for everyone…
(Please try to write at lest one detailed paragraph, if you don’t you make my brain and soul hurt)

She nodded for the girl to join them, but though it best the two girls should interact with one another. If they had any questions she would be more then willing to answer any of them to the best of her ability.

Zofia had taken to looking out the window which for the moment faced a brick wall. It was a deep red and pieces here and there had started to crumble away. You could see that time was slowly wearing away on the place and she couldn’t but wonder how long it would be till repairs were made upon the station?

Shortly after this thought little Lark Banker’s voice came across. Zofia looked to the girl and followed shortly after Antoniette had replied, “I’m Zofia R. Keegen, but you should call me Professor Keegen.” she smiled warmly. Surprisingly her face showed no wrinkles or even scares for that manor, which was very odd for someone like herself, who had been an Auror.

Shortly after the girl had entered a boy wondered into the compartment. “Hello Ronyo Strom, I am Professor Keengen” she now was beginning to feel like a broken record and really hoped when it came to her first day of classes no one would be late, for she wouldn’t want to have to go over her introduction speech again. Zofia also couldn’t help but notice the boys pet, it was a little fox and last time she had checked fox’s weren’t permitted, though she didn’t know if the rules had changed, so she said nothing about it. She went back to looking out the window trying to mind her own unless asked a question. She thought that the children bounding would help them throughout the school year.
