MoonFire stood up and went beside LittleBrook and nuzzled her gently. "I'm sorry to hear that little one. You can stay with us if you wish." She said with a slight motherly tone. It was then that a second new scent reached her nose, and this one too was inside the pack's territory. It didn't seem to belong to a young wolf, who easily forgot the rules of boundaries, so she was slightly worried.
Looking at LittleBrook she decided that she would wait until Dusk returned to go find the intruder. "No, Moon and I just met her. She seems to be alone and we found her snacking on a butterfly, so I thought to find her something a little more filling (sp?). Would you like to come and meet her?" Dusk asked, picking up the rabbit.

NightBlaze didn't know what to do. He had been in their territory long enough that they would've already realized he was there. So he did the only thing he could do. He lifted his head to the sky and howled. It was deep in pitch and rose slowly, as if tired. He howled three times, trying to show that he was sorry for intruding, that he wasn't a threat. Nightblaze wanted to get his point across to avoid a fight, or angry collision. "I hope someone around here heard me..." The amber eyed wolf didn't want to run away at this point, only a coward or a theif would do so. Nightblaze thought of himself as neither. So he sat and waited for whatever may be coming out to meet him.

"Awesome!" LittleBrook yipped, crouching down and pouncing on the older female. "I'm not by myself no more~!" She looked around herself curiously then and asked MoonFire a question. "WHere'd the big guy go again, I forgot."

MoonFire couldn't help but laugh when LittleBrook pounced on her. "He had gone off to find a rabbit or something bigger for you. He should be back soon." MoonFire then heard the howl, deep and slow. Then the howl reached her ears a second time, and a third. She understood the meaning and lifted her own head and howled. Her howl raised in pitch rather quickly, and when it met it's highest point is seemed to blend in with the wind. "Welcome" Her howl seemed to say. Dusk's ears perked at the strangers howl, and he was about to respond when he heard MoonFire's. It had been some time since he had heard her howl sound like that. She must be happy being around that pup. He thought to himself before adding his own howl. Staying about mid-point on the pitch scale it would rise and drop, giving it a haunting sound. If MoonFire thought it was alright, then it was alright with him for this stranger wolf to be here.

" A new visitor?" Mist asked Dusk. " I have not heard howls like that for ages." She walked slowly to the Alpha, quickly picking up her pace. She smelled the two wolves and howled a falling pitch, followed with a high pitched howl.

Once Nightbalze heard the returning howls, he calmed down. Standing up, the amber eyed wolf decided to go and meet the pack that had so kindly welcomed him. He trudged in the direction he heard the howls, sniffing the air for scents that'd aid him. When he felt he was close, he trotted a bit faster and found himself in a clearing. He saw an female wolf, not much older that he was, and a pup. "Uhm... hello, there. I came across your land and I'm sorry for intruding on it, it was a stupid mistake, and I'm sorry." Nightblaze could tell the older female had power and status in this pack. "I'm Nightblaze."

"Bunnies for my tummy," the pup giggled, bouncing around. "Little bunny get in my tummy." Little Brook rather liked her rhyming song and ignored the new being in her proximity in favor of thinking up new ways to say the words 'bunny' and 'tummy'.

MoonFire laughed as LittleBrook bounced around, singing her little song. When she saw the male wolf walk up turned to face him. "It is understandable. I am sure it was not your fault, and at least you let us know you were here." When she heard his name she smiled and bowed her head in greeting. "I am MoonFire." Dusk looked at Mist and nodded. Shall we go see?" He asked with a smile as he started off towards where he left MoonFire and LittleBrook

Mist followed nervously behind, she had never been so close to an Alpha. She stayed some way behind and kept quiet. Soon, she saw the three wolves in the clearing.

LittleBrook stood behind MoonFire, peeering at the new wolf. He was big, a lot bigger than her, so that was more than grounds for being wary.
"You're big."

Nightblaze switched his gaze to Littlebrook. "Big you say? Are you sure you'e not just small?" The black-pelted wolf smiled at the pup.

"Positive," LittleBrook nodded. "Oh! I know that smell!"
The little wolf tried to hop over MoonFire, in her mind her official caretaker, and bound over to thly returned Dusk.
"You're ba~ack!"

MoonFire quickly dropped to her stomach as LittleBrook ran towards her, trying to jump. Turning her head to see what had gotten LittleBrook so excited she saw Dusk return with Mist. Bowing her head to the Alpha, and nodding her head to Mist she stood up. Hello Mist, how are you today? She asked, then remembering Nightblaze she turned to Dusk. "This is Nightblaze, he was the one who had entered our pack lands without permission, but he also did not know at the time. Nightblaze, this is our Alpha; Dusk." Dusk smiled as LittleBrook charged towards him. Smiling he looked down at her as he dropped the rabbit. "Yes I have returned little one, and I brought this for you, our excellent huntress here" He said, motioning his head towards Mist. "Caught it for you."
Hearing MoonFire explain that Nightblaze was the one who howled he bowed his head. "Well met NightBlaze. As MoonFire said, I am Dusk and this is Mist River, though we all just call her Mist. She is our Lead Huntress."

Mist blushed after hearing the comment from Dusk, then bowed to Moonfire and nodded her head to Nightblaze and the pup. " How are you Moonfire? And who is this pup here?" Mist said to Moonfire.

LittleBrook yipped in joy before pouncing on the first real meal in weeks. Looking up to the wolf who'd come up with Dusk, she thanked her.
"Tha~ank you!" She laughed. "You're big too...but not as big as Big over there." she motioned to Nightblaze.
