Isaac742 the whole 2012 thing is a lie. Also nostradamus said that a large meteor would hit 1842. Really, wow. Never heard that prediction before. Man I'm going to stop watching the history channel now. It's always one side of a coin. Oops sorry to get off topic. Yeah I belive the world won't end in 2012. I think it will end in God's time.

There is much evidence that points to the year 2012, including the mayan calander --which predicted the downfall of the mayans themselves
However, the bible says that nobody knows -- so though it may be very near to 2012, I doubt it will end at the predicted time

Its says in the Bible that "No one knows when I will come again, not even the son."
If Jesus doesn't know, neither do we.
Sometimes I kind of wonder if God has a date in mind and then someone guesses it so he's like "Well, I guess we'll have to postpone..."

I don't believe the world will end in 2012. Of course its always a possibility, but I don't think it will. I have ideas on how it might end and stuff like that...but I don't think it would happen in the next 4 years. thats too soon.

Chipi427 -xXGodslayer_RaiXx- Chipi427 And why would you do that? Because the world would end and there is no sense in living if the world is going to end. You're going to die anyways why not speed up the process. Well, even if the world deosn't end, we are still going to die, so why not die now, even if the world isn't ending? Imagine all the wasted time you could have spent winning people to God! Shameful. Simply shameful.

First its spelled Wiccan and second, the world will not end in 2012. Each time their world "ended" was when a new era came. So I take it to mean that when 2012 comes, the world will not end, we will not die. It will just be the beginning of a new age, a new time. Not a new Jerusalem, but more in the way of how we know life right now will end. Sort of how the Industrial Revolution changed life as people back then knew it and gave us the life we have now as we know it. Something will happen and life will be different than how it is now. Frankly I'm pushing for more eco-friendly things to happen and for a more open awareness, sort of Age of Aquarius open mindedness.

Death may surround me...... If people would read the bible then they would realize that it says that He will come back when every one least expects it. There for if people keep expecting it to happen in such in such a year then it won't simple as that. But I do not embrace it

Why does it matter when the world ends? The only thing that matters to you is when you end, which can be before or after the Mayans predicted time. Who knows when you die? Only your God I'd say.

1) I don't know a lot about Wiccan beliefs so I can't really say anything, except that I'm pretty sure that the world won't end in 2012 simply because it's expected to happen. 2) What I know of Nostradamus is what I got off of watching a show in History channel which I'm hoping was accurate enough to depend on. Most of what Nostradamus predicted was vague enough to apply to many situations such as WW2 and Hitler or the current war or the bombing of Hiroshima and the other town whose name is escaping me (help!!!) with the atomic bombs. Because of this, we can't really depend on anything Nostradamus predicted. 3) I'm going to trust in the bible for the whole end of the world deal. We do not know when it will happen. We will never know when it will happen. Only God knows, and it will happen when we least expect it. About as how it will happen, I think the trumpets will sound and every knee will bow, including those of the mountains, streams, rocks, trees, athiests, agnostics, satanists, wiccans, christians, jews, buddhists, muslims, hindus, all creatures, etc. (no offense was meant if I used incorrect terms. I'm not an expert in world religions.) Then the dead will rise and be taken, and then in an instant all those who believed will be taken. I don't believe in the 7 years of tribulation, simply because we've had so many chances in our lifetimes to come to and know God. However I will say that I"m pretty sure I'm going to get married and have at least one child before the world ends. For those who believe in spiritual gifts, one of mine is prophecy, so that's how I know this.
Wow I talk a lot.

this is just me ranting.. but i think maybe they got tired of messing with it, they went ahead a few thousand yrs or w/e... i think the dude was just like.. "dude, screw it, i'm going to bed" sorry >.< lol. i believe it is possible, but i also believe it is unlikely. God decides when to come, not the mayans or some greek dude.
