Sunchaser frowned. "I go back to planning a wedding. It's a lot of work. I really want everything to be perfect for my mate. That's why it's taking so long to do."
Chronos smiled. "I think Miss Selaris wants to be married more than she wants to have a ceremony."

Glinda would have jumped at the chance to help plan a wedding. Elphie, however, backed away slowly. "Oh, well, good luck with the planning. Um, congratulations!" she added, trying at enthusiasm.

Elphie sighed heavily, stomping the ground impatiently. Where had they all run off to? Glitch's letter of course made no sense at all . . . And even Azkadeliah had been lazy with the details this time. Her kids. She shook her head. They got it from their father. She just knew it.

Elphie had the bizarre image of what that would mean to Azkadeliah. Her little witch was somewhat literal. "Do you happen to know a good way to dissolve crazy glue or something of the kind?"

"Acetone . . ." Elphie stored that one in her memory bank. The next image of her children bonding was even worse. What if they created their own little army and set out to conquer the land? "I must have been crazy."

"How they learn," Elphie repeated. She recalled some of the things she'd learned with her sister. "Oh, I hope they don't turn anyone to tin." Mostly she found herself worrying about Riggs. Riggs needed his heart.

"I don't think you have to worry too much." Sunchaser sat down and motioned for Elphie to join him. "They'll learn from each other. Besides, you can't watch them all the time. That doesn't let them grow."
