"Fine," she half-lied. It was only a half-lie because she would have like to have said "As dreary as it is today," but then, she had always had a pessimisstic view of life, so it was enitrely true. "And you?"

Acacia waved the waitress down for her bill as well, but hesitated and eyed Fenrick with a hint of suspicion while mentally asking him curiously and awkwardly if he wished for her to follow.

He left the tip on the table and walked out the door.
"Finally away from those horrid humans."
He stepped into the woods.

 Acacia walked further into the forest until she was sure no one outside of it could see her. She took off her robe, revealing her impressive wingspan and normal clothing. She flew a foot into the air and came back down to stretch out. She looked at Fenrick. What now? the demoness asked, walking towards him.

"I just wanted to run a little bit."
He changed into his wolf form.
"I run through here a lot, so try to keep up."
He suddenly took off running, towards the south.
Does it hurt to have your wings folded up like that back at the ramen place?

Yeah. A lot, Acacia thought to Fenrick, flexing her wings before shooting after the blur that he was. It felt good to fly; she hadn't done it in a while. A ghost of a smile flickered across her face, but then again, could it have just been a trick of the light and shadows flitting across her face as she glided through the air? Acacia directed her thoughts to Fenrick. So you can change into a wolf and read minds. Is there anything else I should be forwarned about? it would have souded playful had it not been Acacia's pessimisstic voice talking. It wasn't Eeyore-gloomy, it was just...unexplainably sad.

I can do this. he stopped and dissapeared. He reappeared on top of a tree.

Acacia sighed, pulling up behind Fenrick for less wind resistance so she could glide easily on her back and fly at the same time. All very useful, she nodded. Eh, if you don't mind me asking, how was it you were endowed with such powers?

He was in human form now.
My father was demon, but my mother was one of the last Nyxites, I just inherited my mother's powers, but my soul form is a wolf.My mother's was a falcon.
