Eva's tail swayed behind him on the ground, getting a lot of sand mussed into his fur. Oh well, he never really cared much. Besides, he was too busy watching them up on the bars, eyes widdening slightly. Woow... And she was eight. She was real old then, no wonder she was so good. He lifted on tiny hand to stick two of his fingers in his mouth, completely fascinated by it all. And he thought there was only climbing and jumping... He wished he could do stuffs liek that, maybe when he was a big kid like Beckie an' Tea. He pointed towards the bars and then turned to look at the older boy, ears perking, as if asking if Tea could do that or something like that. This one was a bit harder to read. He could've been asking if he could try. Bah, you always come across situations like this with the little ones that don't talk.

Tea looked confused, pressing one ear down against his head. Hmm. What did he mean? Try or watch more? Maybe he wanted to meet Beckie! Nah, he woulda waved then, or would he? Poof, who knew. Instead he bounded forward, motioning for Eva to follow, "Come try it with me! It's real fun!" With a little more ease than the girl, being taller and well, built for it, he leapt up and grabbed the bar. He swung forward once, back, twice, back, three times and over, caught the middle bar with his ankles and swung under it, then grabbed hold of the third bar, letting his feet go as he swung up onto it. "See? Fun!"

Eva blinked once or twice and then followed, just letting whatever he had been asking go for now. He stopped under the bar, peering up at it, ears lowering. He was a tiny little guy, after all... He drew in a deep breath, coiled downwards just slightly, and then kicked off. His hands grasped tightly to the bar after he got ahold of it, and he tried to mimic the other boy... But... Ach, it was hard. So instead he curled his knees to his chest, feet landing on the bar between his hands. He pulled himself upright so he was standing on the bar, allowing himself to get his balance before springing along the tops of the bars like a true treekangaroo, on all fours. He made sure to avoid going ontop of anyone- he might mess them up and then they'd be real mad at him and he wouldn't like that. He didn't like it when people were mad at him. He stopped at the highest bar, sitting ontop of it with a smile. He liked heights.

The lemur remained perched on his bar, tail wiggling curiously. Every so often he had to lift it out of the way so the current gymnast wouldn't try and grab it for balance. After all, that's what he needed it for. "You balance good." Ok, crude grammar, but he was working on it. "Can you do this?" He stood and backed up to the end of the bar, then took a few quick steps forward and did a front handspring stepout into a high aerial to the other end, slowing them down so that the other could see what he was doing better. He landed /almost/ gracefully, though he nearly slipped off. A few of the girls clapped, but he didn't seem to notice, his attention returning to the other boy. This was real fun.

(( In case gymnastics is gibberish to you, clipies, he's doing floor moves on top of the bars: http://www.gymnasticsrevolution.com/GymInteractive-Floor-Aerial.htm ))

Well, then again, that weak grammar was a lot more than Eva could muster. He jammed two fingers back into his mouth, tilting his head as the other boy performed the gymnastic stunt.. Wooow. Again. Tea was real good at all'a this flippy stuff. He had taken in everything that the older boy was doing, and since he had seen it all... You had to expect the toddler to try and do it too. It's just the way he is. He raised himself to a stand easily, drawing in a deep breath before trying to mimic the other boy. His movements were a whole lot less graceful- the whole routine was a bit sloppy, including his awkward landing... But he was just a little squirt, and it was pretty good for a first try. The only thing that kept him from totally flopping at the end was probably his good sense of balance since his form wasn't very good.. He smiled towards the other boy afterwards. Hm.. Tea was right, it was fun.

Teagan couldn't help but show a smile. This one was good, really good, for a little smidge of course. "Wanna learn something really fun? S'called a front limbo (limber). You go forward like this." He stood, and did a normal flip into a handstand, wobbling a bit from how narrow the bar was. "And then. You let your feet fall a step forward." He pushed up with his hands, but let them remain on the bar as his back started to arch. Eph, this one hurt a little bit, maybe he should say not to do it. Crick. His feet touched the ground, leaving him in a perfect arch, facing back the way he had come. Now he simply kicked up and landed back where he had been. "Well, it's kinda hard, but you could try it I guess."

Eva's ears perked the moment the words 'really fun' were mentioned. He smiled brightly, brows arching in a curious fashion. What could it be this time? He watched the older boy, taking in everything he was doing curiously before moving to try and copy him... Hard? He took that as a challenge for some reason, and just smiled. Alright... Handstand.. He took a moment after getting up to balance, putting a lot more effort into it than he did at the junglegym. Have to keep up..
He drew in a deep breath before beginning to go into the arch, feet coming down. His teeth set into his lower lip before he fell into it and immediately out and onto his back, unable to complete it like Tea had done. He wrinkled his nose, but smiled nonetheless, now sitting up and stretching himself out a bit.. Owchy, that one pulled at his back a little bit... Luckily he hadn't been in the handstand for too long, he was a bit wobble-some on his arms..

He cringed, that looked like it hurt. "You ok little guy?" Maybe he should have tried something easier first. If this little one had hurt himself he'd be in serious trouble, not to mention he might not be able to see his new friend anymore. "Want me to get a first aidie person?"

He stretched himself out some more in an attempt to show he was fine, smiling even though it pulled a little and was kinda sore- he would be fine. He dealt with a lot of bumps and bruises climbing and stuff. Nothing he couldn't handle! He was fine. Not to mention resiliant. He gave a shake to his head, he needed no first aidie person. He just wanted to play.

Tea smiled, this little guy was tough! He dropped down so that he was straddling the bar, it was more comfortable than standing up most of the time, and it didn't hurt at all when he caught himself with his hands just before hitting the metal. His ears perked up when he heard a familiar little tune reached them. Ice cream truck! His face lit up as he reached for his friend's hand, "Wanna popsicle?"

The 'roo was rotating his shoulders slightly when he picked up the little song as well, his own ears lifting slightly. Whazzat? He immediately liked whatever it belonged to. Eva loved music. He was staring out towards where he heard the sound when Tea caught his hand, and he looked towards him curiously. He fixed a curious expression on his face- what was a popsicle? His head tilted slightly, but he shifted, showing that he was ready to follow the lemur if he started off somewheres.

Tea let go of the joey's hand before he leapt down, not wanting to tug him onto the ground. He motioned to his shoulders, in case the little one wanted to be carried high up. "Popsicles are like frozen fruit but sugarier and without the pulpie stuff."

The boy immediately jumped towards the older boy's shoulders, landing with his bare feet square on his shoulderblades and his hands on the front of his shoulders. He was kinda in a crouch postition. Little did Tea know, this was how he often got onto his Da's shoulders when the older male was leaving and the 'roo was up on his shelf in the book shelf. He worried for a moment about whether or not the lemur could carry him the same way Da could, but hauled his legs up nonetheless. He was now sitting up on the boy's shoulders. He was pretty light, being so small. The squirt got excited by the word fruit, his tail beginning to sway and a smile crossing his face. He nodded enthusiastically after that. He wanted a popsicle!

Tea went down a bit, then bounced into a run after the truck, seeing it about a hundred feet away. He nearly slammed into a bench, hopping over it though his landing was anything but graceful. He loved popsicles, specially grape ones. He didn't like grapes, but he liked grape flavoring. Or was it purple flavored? He skidded to a stop by the truck, flicking his tail against the joey's back as the driver greeted him, "Back again Teagan? You're going to rot your teeth out if you're not careful. What'll it be?" Tea thought about what the joey would like, mulling over their similar tastes. Maybe the little one would like grape too? "Two grape popsicles! Right Eva?"

The 'roo's hands went into the older boy's hair, lighter than he would have done with Da, and he leaned forward as the boy ran. This was most certainly fun. He'd never been up high -and- going fast! He loved the rush... And lucky for Teagan, this little joey adored grape everything... Not as much as apple and cherry, but almost. It was pretty close. Actually, he just like anything that tasted fruity. He looked at the driver curiously after they stopped, ears wiggling about thoughtfully before he threw the man a smile and a wave. He nodded happily at Tea's question. Grapegrapegrape.
