Considering that I haven't sang in choir for over four years (I'm a musician), I'm proud to say that tried out for A Capella choir for the first time and I made it as a freshman.
btw, I sing tenor/tenor2

I'm in choir and jazz choir. I could go from alto two to soprano two.

sweatdrop it depends.. I'm mostly Alto 1...and occasionally I could sing up to Soprano 1. Also, in Jazz choir I'd be an Alto 1 to a mixture of some tenor notes...depending if we have a tenor or not. 3nodding

I'm anything my director needs (especially because I can sing harmony well, same with sight reading). With a range of just over four octaves (I can sing from the Eb below the Treble Clef to the G about 4 ledger lines above it, thank you very much). My voice teacher labeled me a soprano, but I can sing anything well once I'm warmed up.

can sumone tell me what my range is? I'm great with most guy songs taht are on the radio, those are easy notes for me. (and I do hit them correctly) but i can also ace Celine Dion tracks easy. but relly low is hard and relly high I'm not strong with.

Well last year i was put into the bass section because of the lack of men in our choir, but this year i'm singing tenor 2. Way bigger challnge. And i'm glad im a tenor this year because our bass section sucks! It sounds like they are reading a book to themselves.
