For starters, I think they all look great and 85% of the people in here are whining like drowning puppies...

If the pics bother you so much, stop torturing yourself and stay off this thread... lol Fo Sho! But you know they have to find something wrong with everything that happens. they're fanatics. *another crude wake up call*You guys don't own the damn books, the series is not your baby, get off your high horses and just enjoy the fact that someone has also taken an intrest in it and they are trying thier best to bring it to life FOR YOU! and if you don't like what they're doing stick with the book subforums and stay away from the movie, because you will be disapointed.

no, there shouldn't be a need at all. but there comes a point when someone has had enough. there are plenty of people out there how think this movie well do it's best and we are trying to enjoy pleasent converstations about it and it's really heard to do so when most of the crap we read is unpleasent.

I'm sorry but you should know that there are going to be people who willl critique the people chosen. Now I believe that they can probably pull off the cullens, but I am entitled to me right to critique them on other matters. So for those of you who are whinning about people critiqueing others, get over it. Because people get critiqued all the time, it's nothing new people.

i do see your point in this.
If it were just them being a critic i'd understand, but i'm not seeing that. all i see is whinning and people stomping thier feet because the people they wanted didn't get casted. And no matter what you do to try to help them they refuse to get over it.
i'm sorry i know i'm being mean but i've tried.

And no matter what you do to try to help them they refuse to get over it. i'm sorry i know i'm being mean but i've tried. Regardless of what others might say, I do not find your statement mean or upsetting at all. Although it should be noted for myself that I had no direct person in mind for anyone in the movie, since I do not bother to remember actors names and such. I can only hope that this movie turns out alrught; my biggest problem that I would have with the movie will be if they mess with the content of it, and make it totally different than the book. I do understand that their shall be some 'minor' changes probably but so long as they don't take out key details then I'll be happy.

Agreed.
But I thought the person who plays Esme doesn't look like a Esme at all.
I thought Mary-Louise Parker was a better Esme since she has a softer look. ^This is a picture of Mary-Louise Parker.
