Kid Of The Kingdom I'm in color guard and in our guard we have a pecking order. Freshman are to be seen but not heard. sophomores are to help the new-bes the most and also just for if they want to be captain next year. juniors are to work ******** hard and while they can correct any one below them and tell them if they are doing something wrong. Then 'Top Of The Food-chain' are the seniors, who can correct you, yell at you, and get solos. Well this year we had a winter guard and we happened to get two band members to join us. Thats all fine and what ever but the guy that joined us is acting like he's been there the whole four years. 1) He's new to guard. 2) He used to make fun of guard. 3) He doen't know s**t what he's doing and he talks as if he was our coach. 4) He is only allowed on flag because he didn't amke weapon line, but when the guard is in our classes he goes to the guard closet and spins others rifles with out permission! We all really just hate him. 'BOB' pisses every one off! I know what you're talking about. Literally.

Reading an earlier post, I really, REALLY, dislike a seniority complex. Freshmen have just as valuable ideas as seniors.
Anyway, back on subject, he got kicked out of band but may be back... he's an idiot snare drummer. VERY VERY talented... but he's a jerk, and there's nobody in the band that I can think of that actually likes the guy. I'm not lying, nobody likes him.

there was this girl in marching season, a freshman, who thought she was being cool, but she was really frightening O_O. she would always dance and wear questionable clothing. . .O____________O and she didn't wear DEODORANT. it was gross.

Well We had a Bob.
He would never come to the Friday After school practices we had.
We would sounds good, cheery and like always have a good
time. but then once in a while, he'll magically pop up and play
during a certain song. Then he just comes to our section and play in the main snare with me. Then he just disses other people in our section like our other snare/bassist and try putting him down. He may try to act funny but he's pretty nasty like when we stand to play sometimes (if we're rehearsing for a concert, he'd rub and kinda do sexual things, pretty sick dude, but lately Bob and most of us got along since The Band Festival just passed. we're pretty cool now, not that we really werent though.

we have this 7th grader in our guard and hes a rifle and he just is really bad so bad the highest toss he can do is a half and last year everyone got to sixes were stuck on singles and its been 4 mouths hes holding us back and he wont event come to any sectionals only practice everyone want6s him to quit because he is holding us back BIG TIME.

half my guard is.
Since you have to be in band to do guard, alot of the people who try out just want to get out of marching, so half of them are retarded. One is, not kidding, in special ed, and our coach is overly nice and lets her in (not that i'm against those people, but she's BAD) and others just think they are amazing at colorguard, but aren't.

No one ever wanted her to join. She wanted to do drumline, but I don't think she knows how ot play drums. So, our band director told her to do guard. Joyous for us. So, she does guard, and complains every practice and every damned show. She calls her mother every time that she does not want to do something, and our captain for some reason just lets it all pass. She mouths off to everyone, and no one can stand her. I spend half of my practices keeping myself from punching her. During school, her friend once mentioned that she only stays in for PE credits. Thats a good thing, though, for me, cus that means shes done in one more year. Just one more year, and I never need to talk to her again...

ok! i have two peoples named "bob" and jimbo
u see bob here just started here with us at 8th grade as a percussionist and he doesn't try says he is going to quit but never does he flirts with the 7th grade percusionists and he's covered in zits!
and now "jimbo" he sucks flirts with the 7th grade percusionists too and he can't count,roll,play sixteenth notes, or when he plays bass he will hit the drum then make his arms go down to his sides all swinging in the wind

Hold on, I gotta count all the Bobs in our drumline... 1, 2, 3, 4... that's all for now.
Bob #1: He's a snare. We are constantly making fun of him. At our drumline party, he was watching us through the door... it was creepy.
Bob #2: She's a senior in the pit. And a robot. She didn't ever move. Then she wouldn't listen to what ANYONE said. No dynamics either.
Bob #3: He's also a senior. Only he plays bass 4. He walked out of THE REHERSAL BEFORE FINALS. I'm serious. He flipped out on our instructor and left. 2 days before finals. Yupp.
Bob #4: She is the other senior. Started on snare (couldn't march), then subbed for pit. After that, she played auxilary. She didn't show any emotion other than boredom.
Our seniors sucked this season. Everyone is glad they're gone. And I'm not exaggerating.

stare yeah...we have people...
my sections' problem is that we have this kid who, plays exceptionally well he's amazing, but he talks to his self, he just HAS to correct others, and only likes you if you play the instrument well. it's soo annoying. and he really creeps me out.
it's soo annoying how, when the drumline is getting ratted out for messing up and the instructor is teaching, the kid will stand there and quietly be saying to his self "no, you're doing it wrong, it's not that hard i don't see how you're not getting it. it's like this..." and so on. he'll actually be standing there tapping the mallets on the wood of the keyboard, tapping the drummer's parts out.
i just want to tell him "For God's Sakes, you're a KEYBOARD player NOT a drummer!" scream

In my opinion, it's the fact that they speak of what they do not know. Not the fact that they are conceted.... (Like my current section leader...) But it is highly annoying!

bob is an insurance salesman, from topeka kansas.
you meet bob when your stuck in the airport coctail lounge because the aiport has been watching the weather channel
bob starts talking to you and buy you some drinks and shows you picturess of his family and you start to think bob's not a bad guy.
and then bob tries to sell you insurance and you have to go "******** you bob"
that is a bob

D= We have, like, six "Bob"s in our guard, and a few in band, too. (I'm in both, since I'm only a dumb little seventh grader. I am belittled in this guild full of mostly-highschoolers...)
The one that pisses me off the most is our tallest guard member, who is also a guy, and just because he can throw tosses higher, he thinks he's better than everyone, expecially when he's lazy in everything he does, even talking. We have three more, two girls and a guy, who just don't try. It makes me wonder why they're still in guard.
We have another in guard, he's short, blonde, and the biggest spaz you'll ever meet, and he thinks he's better than everyone, and also thinks he can spin sabre better then me, even though he does rifle. (He can't seem to get a SINGLE right on sabre, and thinks he's better just because I can't catch it by the hilt without severely injuring myself. >< )
On to band...
We have this one clarinet player who thinks he's better than everyone else, but he can't seem to get the first note we ever learned to come out of his instrument. He also doesn't count (like most of our clarinets, no offense, but ours seemed to have missed kindergarten and never learned to count to four. They also don't watch on the ritardandos, but neither do our percussionists.) and barely ever plays anyway, only does random fingerings and blows soundless air through his instrument. I don't even think he practices.
Our tuba acts like he is a natural first-chair trumpet (lulz, no offense again) and brags about his "mad tuba skillz" to everyone. But he does kinda have bragging rights, because he's the only one in our class who has his major scales memorized and the only one in our class who made all-county. (I was going to try out, but I didn't feel like it. I did all-county chorus instead.)
Our snare, Keammy/Bob also thinks he's superior, but he can't get a snare part for Rites of Tamburo right because he doesn't watch for ritardandos and meter changes. He also can't count quarter notes right. He can do everything else, but not quarter notes. (Or any kind of rest.)
One of our guyflutes is also a Bob, like the ones in colour guard that don't even try. He doesn't know how to count, nor does he look at the key signature, and he gets every other note wrong. He used to be really good, and we all wonder what happened.
