Sits down and untangles a paw wiping over his muzzle then over his head, rubbing off some sand sticking to his face. "So am I. That was awful" he still made faces with the after thought while cleaning himself.
Hearing her surprised tone Kyo dropped his paw and turned his head to look in her direction. Getting up slowly he watched her eat the odd fruit or atleast he hoped that's what it was. He hadn't noticed they were close to a bush of berries. "No I don't think I have" his head tilted and he plucked one small purplish ball with his teeth and chewed. He seemed to consider if he actually liked it then shrugged his shoulders. "They aren't bad"

Hallie giggles slightly as Kyo seemed to think a moment before speaking. “ I love them, they grow a lot around my home. I wonder if I can find some of the others. ” Grabbing another of the berries and eating it she looked around, her eyes searching for something. “ Near where I live, lots of berries grow, all sorts of really yummy ones but a few I wont eat either. One that smalls so bad no animals go near it. ” She smirked. “ I use that one to make stuff that keeps them out of my home. ” She let out a soft sigh and returned her attention to the bush, snagging another of the berries. “ Seems that this is the only one though. ” Stopping she looked at Kyo. “ What is it that you like to eat? ”

Kyo grabbed another berry and chewed it while listening to her. "You must really miss your home" he stated randomly. Not having a home himself he wasn't sure what someone could possibly miss. "I don't actually have any favorites." he shrugged casually. Plucking more berries he ate until he was moderately full. While he sat he contemplated what to do. It was a new experience having a friend or just anyone to hang around and he didn't want to seem boring. "What do you like to do with your uh.. days?"

Hallie supposed she did miss her home a little, it was kind of funny really. Her home consisted of an old rabbit burrow near the base of a great old tree. It wasn’t much but it was stable and kept her out of the rain and cold when needed. Plus it had so many interesting tunnels and rooms. It was lonely some times though.
She’s lost herself in a moment of thought and turned to look at him as he asked his question. “ Oh.. Um. Well I like exploring a lot. I love climbing trees, the really big ones are loads of fun. You get all the way to the top and you look around. You can see everything and it feel so free up in the open air. ” Looking at Kyo silently for a minute she thought about telling him a secret wish she had had for a long time. She was sure he would laugh but she wanted to tell someone to badly and h was her first chance. “ I want to be able to play in that openness. I want to be able to fly. ”

Kyo tilted his head while he listened to her. His gave then turned to one of many big trees around them. He never really gave climbing trees a thought before. Of course he had enough troubles with his lights on the ground. "Huh.. as long as you have fun."
His gaze lowered and settled on her once more. He stared at first like he couldn't believe she had said that but quickly he smiled "You would look lovely with wings. Lavender ones to match your.. hair" he blinked and looked up to the sky once more. "You would be pretty lucky"

Little Hallie's smile widened at his wirds and she blushed a little at his complment. Maybe telling him wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be after all. " I guess I would be. " She took a few move berries and ate happily before stepping back over to the small stream and lapping at the cool water. Looking up at Kyo, her lavender and blue eyes soft as she gazed. " What do you do with your days? Other then swim that is. "

He hadn't thought of answering that question. Staring up at the sky he gave it some real thought. "I don't know. It's hard to find fun things when you are all alone. I like.." he trailed off. How could he not seem dull now? "Finding things?"

Laying her self down at the edge of the stream she felt the water lick at her hind legs and revealed in the coolness. " You mean like discovering new things? Like the pretty shell you gave me? " Glancing over at the shell to make sure it was still there, she didn't find this boring or dull at all really. " I love doing that. I like naming things I've never seen before. "

Kyo gave a nod of his head moving over close to her and laying down as well. He stretched out with a sigh enjoying the relaxation. "I never think to name things. If I had a home it would probably be full of things." Laying there, thinking, he started to realize he really liked his new friend. She was pretty and good company. He felt a little more awkward around her. "Uh.. hm" He lowered his gaze before she could tell he was staring. The green and red lights blinking randomly around his legs.

She flicked her tail lighty as she lay there. She noted that the water flicked around as she moved her tail. " I kind of enjoy naming things and love collection certain types of things. " She flicked her tail again and giggled lightly as she splashed him with cool stream water. Though she was careful not to get it on the lights.

Kyo flinched at the drops of water taken off guard by it. He laughed letting her get away with it for the time being. "I wouldn't mind you naming things for me. Whatever I find. If you like it you can keep it. How's that?"

Hallie gave a little pout at what seemed to be Kyo’s lack of playfulness. Pulling on the cutest face she could manage at the moment without giggling again. “ I would like that very much. ” She paused a moment thinking about something he had said before. “ Why don’t you have a home Kyo? ” She felt that everyone needed a home, and he was no different. It was nice to always know you had somewhere to go. A warm place to sleep and a roof over you're head.

Kyo smiled, drawn to the sound of her laughter. It however didn't make sense to the enyalie. He had no one to explain things to him so he remained clueless to his feelings.
He shook his head "I don't know" his voice held a little disappointment. He didn't know having a home or not was a big deal. Ducking his head down he played with his string of lights, wrapping part of it around his muzzle. He looked at her with a grin, his face lighting up first green then red.

Noting the tone of disappointment is his voice Hallie felt bad for asking such a personal question. She looked away for a moment but looked back again just in time to see the green and red lights light up Kyo’s face. She couldn’t help herself. Bursting out into a heart warming laugh. “ You really are silly Kyo. ” Her smile was warm and gentle as she watched him and suddenly something came to mind. “ Would you… be interested in staying with me. My home isn’t much really. It’s big… kind of but still not much. ”

Kyo chuckled, "I have moments" he let the string of lights drop back to pool around his paws. Hearing her next remark his head tilted to one side, making the world and tilt as well. First she offered friendship and now her home.
There wan't much to think about since she was after all no perfect stranger. "Really?! If you don't mind.. hey I can bring us fish to eat. And I'll try to be a good.." his sudden rambling trailed off. He wasn't sure what to call bunking down with a friend. "Well I'll be good!"
