Chat in a brothel would be like a chat in any commodities market. It's just that the commodities are talking, too, which means it's time to beat them until they shut up and learn their place.

seriously though, everyone keep in mind that we're not askin for ideas about a roleplay. we're makin a chat thread, nothing more nothing less. all we're asking for is what the scene should be for the chat. the theme, the motif. will the chairs be trendy post-modern stuff, tree stumps, or beach chairs? will the picture hanging in the background show a scene of rolling fields, rolling seas or rolling clouds. that's all there is to it.
so, a brothel? what's that? isn't it just... pretty much a house? or hotel lobby? aside from the business that goes on there, how's it any different from any other place? scene-wise i mean. how is the background any different?
same goes for the other scenes. what things are present in... say a ski resort... that make it a good scene for everyone getting together to chat? an onsen? a grecian bath? and so on. some of them work, some don't really make much sense.
