Iztoz stopped again, nearly walking into Cam with how unexpected that stop had been. He arched an eyebrow at that innocently curious question, resting one hand on his hip and tilting his head."Why..? Well, why not?" He shrugged, shaking his head. "Besides, how do you know I'm following you? Maybe I'm just going to get another sandwich."

Mearly shrugging at the reply, Cam paced into the kitchen and then to the fridge. All the while, he kept a curious eye on Iztoz.

Iztoz continued to follow behind Cam, peeking over his shoulder into the fridge. Reaching in over Cam's shoulder, the fox opened the a drawer and took out a packet of turkey breast and cheese. Closing the drawer, he also grabbed the mustard. "Thank you~" He remarked lightly, moving away to get two slices of bread so he could make his second sandwich.

Cam looked abit flustered at the taller male's actions. He never liked anyone stepping over him.
...
...Wait, he thanked him? For what? Cam hesitated before grabbing a lone apple out of the drawer. Peering over at Iztoz, the bright pink male leaned back on the nearby counter. His expression remained blank, almost daze-like.

Iztoz hummed softly to himself as he made up his sandwich. Bread, a nice thick layer of turkey, cheese, mustard, and the top slice of bread. Perfect.
Studying the sandwich as though debating if it needed more meat or not, the male shook his head and abandoned the sandwich for a few moments to put the mustard and turkey away. Moving back to pick up his sandwich, he glanced one last time over to Cam before moving into the living room again. He stooped to pick up his book as he passed it, setting the collection of crossword puzzles down on the table as he passed it before settling back in his chair. Moving the plate from earlier into his lap, the male resumed his eating.

Cam was left to stare at the kitchen doorway, disappointed. He never liked being alone. Never.. Never ever.
Peering down at his half-eaten apple, he let a sigh escape his lips and soon found himself placing the apple on the counter. He wasn't sure why he suddenly lost his appetite, but it didn't matter. Bored out of your wits in a kitchen. ..great. 'Wonder what Iztoz is doin' now?..

Iztoz, on the other hand, was actually quite content on his own. After all, he'd never needed people in his life before... why would that change now?
Settling back in his chair, the male was content to simply eat his sandwich, on occasion glancing toward the kitchen or setting down the sandwich so he could take a sip of what milk still remained in his glass.
If he'd never needed people before... why was he hoping to see Cam walk back out of the kitchen?

He'll just think i'm annoying him..
No he won't.
Yeah, he will.
Cam mentally battled himself on weather to leave the kitchen or not. He paced around the floor, tail swishing to and fro, occasionally glancing at his half-eaten apple.
After a few more minutes he decided to only 'take a little peek'. And with that, he edged near the doorway, poking his head out when he thought Iztoz wasn't paying attention.
Interesting..

Patience was all it took. Of course, he may not have been looking toward the doorway when Cam took his peek, but there was a certain satisfaction that came from something you wanted to happen actually happening.
Tail wrapped around himself, once more the empty plate was set aside, joined by a glass now also emptied. He considered bringing them to the kitchen now, if only it meant seeing the other male. Looking to the kitchen doorway, he arched an eyebrow when he saw the bright pink male's head poking around the corner.
Brushing his fingers through the fur of his tail, he didn't say anything. All he did was arch one eyebrow before chuckling softly, shaking his head.

After another quick peek, Cam had his back pressed against the kitchen wall, an amused expression adorned his face. I've never seen someone eat so quickly! He has to have a secret...
Further curiosity led him to take yet another peek, quite unaware that the other had already spotted him from before.

Iztoz opted not to respond to the other's not quite inconspicuous peeking in on him. For a few moments, he simply sat there, fingers brushing through his tail and occasionally setting a bread crumb or two on the plate after it had been taken from his lap.
Once Cam took another peek in on him, the male couldn't help himself. He spoke calmly, addressing the other as casually as though Cam stood right before him. "Sneakiness isn't exactly your forte, Cam."

Cam's eyes widened as the other spoke. "H-how did you see me?!" he managed to stutter in shock. Although his expression soon became disappointed.
...He could have sworn that the 'coast was clear'.

Iztoz shrugged, smile still pulling insistently at the corners of his lips. "I already said," he pointed out simply, resting one elbow on an armrest and his head in the palm of his hand. "You aren't exactly the sneakiest person out there."

Cam walked a little further into the main room, his tail trailing on the floor behind him. He kept his gaze directed to the floor, ashamed. "I tried.." he replied, almost in a whisper, as his voice was low and soft.

A soft chuckle escaped the male's lips then. Wait, what? Oh no, we shouldn't be having any of that. "You did try, yes." He shrugged. "And I suppose some people would say that it was the effort that counts."
