"I expect that you would like my name in return, right" She asked, more reflecting then stating or questioning. Victoria crossed her legs and leaned on one arm, still delicately purched up on the broken fountain.
"Fine then, Victoria is what I am called by," Really though, Victoria went through many names, last year she convinced her sisters to call her Isabell before she had gotten bored of that name also. Victoria slid down and landed with not much more than a brush of sound and took a step off from the basin of the fountain towards Edward. "Edward," she tried out the name, "what might I ask has brought you to this place?" She knew very well of her sisters plans but it was always a good conversation starter.

Jason stood there, wondering of the North Wing. What was it's secrets? Surely it could not just be their quarters that are forbbidden. It seemed that they did not want his gand or him to find out what was beyond those doors. Very suspiscious indeed. Jason was quick to reply to Elaina's question. Calmy he spoke, "I do not really have a preference of what room to go to. Perhaps, the room that is closest to this one."

Another regal nod, and the woman turned to walk a part of the circular balcony that over looked the foyer. From this open central hall, there were other long corridors disappearing into different directions. She lead him down the one on the far left, her pace measured and unhurried. After all, she had no need to rush. She had all the time in the world.
When they came to the first room, she grasped the brass handle in her slim hand and opened the door inward. The room was filled with the moonlight that came in through tall arched windows that reached from floor to ceiling. A fireplace stood at one end, a four-poster canopy bed at the other; a rug lay on the floor, and a small bathroom could be seen through a narrower door tucked into the left-hand wall of the room. Every piece of furniture, from the bed to the nightstand, to the vase on the mantel, looked antique. A portrait over the mantel displayed a picturesque scene of a lake.
"One of our many guest rooms. The others are similar, with small variations in style. My family were nothing if not unimaginative."
She spoke matter-of-factly, as if the whole concept of interior decorating bored her. Closing the door, she lead him back down the hallway, passing several doors which must have lead to the remaining guest rooms she spoke of. A large set of double doors emerged from the gloom as they came to the end of the hall, and these she pushed open as she entered.
Candle glow spilled at their feet; the glass-paned doors that lead to the long balcony outside were flung wide to let in the moon and stars. A table with two straight-backed chairs sat central and closest as they entered; further in, between the two sets of double-doors leading to the balcony, a large hearth dominated the wall, and was flanked by two comfortably upholstered love-seat couches. But the true focus of the room were the books. Row upon row of shelves that reached to the ceiling were crammed with volumes, a mixture of old texts and newer paperbacks. It was a vast library, worthy of a university.
And here, she finally smiled with genuine pleasure.
"The Library."

Dante nodded finishing what looked like four lines of writing saying quickly "Gotcha north wings bad," not looking up from his notebook. He lifted his head up humming a little beat. "Hmmm Ed's gotta hear this........... Anybody know where he is?" Dante asked hoping someone knew where he was. Once musical inspiration struck him Dante had to complete it unless something important happened.

Edward shrugged. "We hear something was abnormal out here, and my friends and I decided to check it out..." A small smiled crept onto his face. "Do you live here, Victoria." The name seemed old to him, but he sighed, ignoring it, and his guitar case fell lightly to the ground, landing with a soft thud.

Victoria laughed inwardly, definately abnormal but she said nothing about it.
"Yes, with my sister," she answered. "Which instrument do you play?" She asked another question, it reminded her of a game, she shrugged the memory off and crossed her arms.

Edward's smile stayed on his face.
"Guitar." He said softly. "You and your sister live here?" He asked, showing no interest, though he was slightly intrigued.
"How long have you lived out here?" Alone... He added mentally, wondering if they kneew about the abnormal 'sightings', or if they were them.

"Mm, sisters, sorry." she excentuated the plural on it, correcting herself. "Oh, we grew up here. Our parents passed a while a years ago though." The story had been rehearsed for such encounters and Victoria only smiled sweetly but there was a slight crookedness about her thin lips. "Guitar huh? I've dabbled in many instruments," In truth Victoria could play most instruments handed to her quite well, she had all the time in the world to practice anyways.
A growl came from behind Edward and a sleek white greyhound slunk down the steps from the doors and stood besides Victoria still growling. Victoria narrowed her eyes at the dog and folded her arms looking down at her. "Hush, Nanabell. We've discussed how to be polite to guests." At the remark the dog stopped its growling and took a few steps forward. It looked at Victoria and then at edward with qize milky blue eyes before bending its front paws in a bow and then proceeding forward to nuzzle his hand. Victoria gave the same crooked smile at Nanabells's behavior.

Edward gave a small nod. As the greyhound came out, he gave a small smile.
"Nanabell." He mused. "Nice name." He knelt down and scratched it gently behind the ears.
"Do you get guests often?"

"Everyonce in a while," Victoria answered amused, Nanabell was full of odd complex behaviors that not even she could predict.
(Gah! Writers block, sorry)

Edward gave a small nod, standing up now. He glanced back at the mansion.
"How many sisters do you have?" He asked.

(Sorry about not being able to post.)
Jason looked in awe by the many books he saw in the library. Surely, the books were almost one copy of each book out in the world today. THough the books seemed old, they did not look dust as much. He had to ask the question, "Do you read these books or have read them?" He pondered for a moment, thinking back to the other room he saw that was covered in priceless antiques. They were astounding, he never saw antiques like those except in that other country where they visited because of superstition of werewolves. In fact, there was two werewolves, a scruffy couple. Though the group found about the science that was put into it but sadly, they had to kill the two. What the world was coming to now. Turning his attention from his thoughts, he pressed his attention towards Elaina.

"Four others, that makes us five in all" Shee smiled distantly. "How many is in your group." She walked passed him, gliding with surreal grace and up the stairs, she paused a moment. "Would you like to see the mansion?" A half smile pulled at her lips.

((No problem hun, happens to all of us.))
"Yes, I do read them. I enjoy reading. I even occasionally add to the collection, if I find something that intrigues me."
She'd removed a candle from the sconce in the wall, and glided among the nearest set of shelves, her fingers caressing the spines of the books she past. The smile on her face was tender, her touch loving; her books were her window to the world, her way of seeing through the eyes of human kind again. Learning broadened her mind, and it humbled her. And stories...well, in stories, she could be anyone she wanted: a fierce knight, a damsel fair, a power-hungry politician, a world-weary detective.
With a shake of her head, Elaina brought herself back to the now, and glanced back at her guest. Something was pulling at her mind, and it took the vampire a moment to realize that it was the curiosity to learn more about him. How quaint. Well, when the whim strikes...
"Do you enjoy books...Jason?"

He sat back down now not caring that no one answered him. Dante closed his eye's and imagined a paino in front of him, his fingers danced in front of imaginary keys he hummed the song to the beat that was being played and surprise was on his face when Dante realized they matched in harmony. Dante grinned happily opened his eye's and sat down writing in the notebook continueing his song.
