Scarlet stopped midsentence and changed on a dime, "And then once Nenharma-Yeeeeees?" She turned and smiled at the stallion behind her. "What bedevils you my hero?" she turned to face him fully and grinned lopsidedly again.

"I... Um... I wanted to apologize to you. For being a jerk." It had never crossed his mind that Scarlet hadn't realized how rude he had been to her earlier before the attack. All he knew was since the attack what he had done kept eating away at him, making him feel steadily worse. "I shouldn't have lust left you. I am sorry."

"It's alright,y ou had something important to do! I'm just glad you showed up when you did! That was really destiny, huh?" She looked at the sun and winced. She pranced slightly and whined, "Oh... Nenharma must be so worried! This means Saki is miserable and Vallor is in pain, oh this is all my fault! Come on, Syipher! I can't be anymore late! If we move fast I can still get you to the rive before dark and then we have to go to my village so you can get patched up..."

She didn't get it did she? That Syipher had just meant to leave her there, that he hadn't had anything important to go to, that he had just wanted to get away from her. "But.." Syipher started to but in, to explain the whole thing, but decided against it. Perhaps it was better that he didn't explain, it would only complicate things.
"Okay, lets go. I wouldn't want to make your two-leggers worry by having you out too late, now would I?" Syipher trotted past Scarlet a bit and then paused for her to take the lead. He didn't, after all, know where he was going.

((Sorry, but I think it's my turn to do a bit of godmoading... D wink )
Scarlet giggled adn trotted towrds her mountain home. For a little thing she was strong and spry and gracefully scaled the small mountainside to her small village. She sighed as she saw no one awake as the sun had long since set. But the second she got off of the rocks and onto sturdy land she lost her balance and stumbled, clattering into a pile of fire wood and knocking over a clay pot that shattered. She then rolled over and made an iron kettle clang over and roll to a stop at the just-awoken Nenharma's feet.
Scarlet gazed up at Nenharma frightfully. she loved her two-legger, but when angry she was terrifying. "Where have you been," she screamed as she fell to her knees and clutched Scarlet's neck. "I was so worried, you can't be doing this! and I just got word of an attack from a skinwalker and I was so worried it was you! I thought you were dead! Don't EVER do that to me again." Scarlet blushed and backed out of Nenharma grip and nudged Syipher.
Saki came out of her teepee and squeeled. "A stallion! Scarlet, you lucky thing you! Oh, he's hurt. I'll take him and get him all cleaned up!" The 19 year old came over with her basket of herbs and cloths just as Vallor stumbled out fo Nenharma's teepee with a blanket drapped around his waist. He looked sleepy-eyed at the mare who trotted up to him and he smiled. "I told you she'd be alright, didn't I love?" Nenharma scoffed and pushed him back into the teepee and entered it herself.
Scarlet turned to Syipher and smile. "My family! This is why I'm alwys happy!"

Syipher just kinda st there and let everything that happened happen, completely ignoring the comment about bringing home a stallion. He wasnt too fond of an unknown two-legger tending to his wounds, but if they took care of scarlet he was alright with them. "Maybe you should tend to scarlets wounds first?" Syipher offered a he was still getting used to the idea. He was more worried about Scarlets wounds anyway.
"I can see why you are always happy, they love you very much." He edged closer to Scarlet and whispered in her ear so the two leggers didn't hear. "They're quite comical as well."

"You took most of the attack, you're wounds are worse. I just have some scrapes and bumps. Sakis a good doctor, she'll be finished in no time with you!" Scarlet smiled but blushed as Syipher whispered to her. She whinnied irritatedly as Saki whooped a little and pressed an herb into on of her wounds. Scarlet felt the stinging instantly subside as Saki rubed it in, excreting oils into the wound. She repeated this process with Syipher.
"Yup. I have no reason to be sad, accept that Nenharma, Vallor and Saki are all working to afford this really pretty stallion. I can't remember his name, really, but he's like a regular stallion. I said hi once, but he snorted at me." Scarlet wrinkled her nose but giggled.

Syipher twinged as the two-legger in return repeated the proscess to the wound by his mane. "Does it always feel like this?" He asked Scarlet, never having someone else treat his wounds before.
Syipher wrinkled his nose at the description of the stallion. "He doesnt seem too pleasant if he just snorted at you. He could have at least said high. Why do they want him anyway?" As far as Syipher was concerned, Scarlet was perfect, why would the two-leggers need another soquili? It'd just end up taking affection away from Scarlet, and it seemed the affection was what kept her happy all the time.
