"Oh, so he does talk on and on forever?" It seemed that the goddess switched sides a lot, but only when it came to a little bit of teasing. She showed a bit of surprised when the bird scooted over her way. She felt the nibble of the bird's beak on her ear before hearing the secret words. She didn't laugh, but was certainly quite tickled about what she had just heard. Well!
"The wind? Well, I'd say both are very similar, really. They're both smooth, quick, and can both change. I would say one is cool, and the other warm, typically, though." She thought about that for a moment. "But I guess with that, I'd still compare you to the wind, then. Plus, why not! It should give me some points as well, since then we're connected, even if it's only through silly comparisons and words."

"Oh he does." She nodded as she made herself comfortable on the goddesses shoulder. "He'll just go on and on about who knows what. Half the time i think he's talking to me but if i don't answer him he'll just answer himself" She'd seen the cheetah have whole discussions with himself on both sides before. It was odd but enlightening some times.
"The water is a whole different sort. It seems like something that could watch everything go by while it continues to steadily roll along it's path taking back the land." He had seen rivers change their course and eat away at the ground around them. The Rivers seemed to be a powerful thing that he would never want to mess with.
He tilted his head slightly and chirped lightly. "You would ... want to be connected in some way to someone like me? Words are powerful things you know" He grinned impishly at her.

Mana leaned over to the bird on her shoulder. "Well, he's certainly a bit eager now, isn't he?" A light laugh escaped her mouth as she shifted her wings around, giving one of them a good stretch.
With an arched brow, she replied to the cheetah with a grin. "You should know what I mean, you're just choosing to take it into a different context, am I correct?" The wing slowly drew itself back to her side. The goddess let her eyes linger around the ground, until she drew a paw up to examine the bits of grass that had clung to it and left the earth.
"Though, it shouldn't surprise me. Sometimes I think males have only one thing that is always in their mind, no matter what else is going on around them." She gave a small huff, but it was just another attempt to try and not laugh. She really was enjoying herself.

"That would depend entirely on what context you think i took it in." His tails swished gently in front of his paws. "I Happen to have loftier delights in life and had hoped that i had made a new friend." He had never bothered with the thoughts of what 'males' were suppose to think. It just didn't seem like a productive line of thought.
It would be nice if she enjoyed his company and he got to speak to her more often. "Typical male thoughts complicate things. I would much prefer relationships of the conversational type." He nodded slightly.
She almost laughed at the thought of Zuma thinking anything beyond someone else to talk to. She'd mentioned it to the cheetah before and he had stared at her for a while almost as if she'd turned his world upside down.

"Oh? Well, I hope you accept my apology then," she replied, though not with a sympathetic tone. Really, one still full of humor. So she could be wrong, she could be right, but she really honestly wouldn't worry about it.
"Plus, you could argue the point that there are females with their heads full of the same things." Thoughts like that did bother her, but it was because she was never one like that. Not once in her past had she felt that tug, she just merely did it to help the mortals that she had grown attached to.
"Conversations are always pleseant. I say, though, you'd have better luck finding a girl then a good conversation now a days," she replying, teasing again. There was a sad truth to it, though.

"I can happily say i have never met a girl like that. I don't think I'd be all that pleased to do so either" He shivered at the thought of a girl wanting him for nothing more than his body. It just didn't seem right to do something like that unless you knew that you were going to take responsibility.
"True." He nodded at her last statement. "I suppose that goes to show why the only female company i have is her." He nodded his head toward the bird perched on Mana's shoulders. "I tend to not stick around if i can't get good conversation.

"Oh?" she arched a brow, but didn't say anything more. Well, it was mildly surprising, since he was a fine cheetah, but perhaps he didn't hang around anyone long enough to find out their intentions. That she could see him doing.
She leand her head in a bit towards the bird, but didn't say anything. Maybe she would say something about that? Maybe not, since she hadn't right after he mentioned that. "I guess most girls are whiny and needy, and not the kind for conversation. Perhaps you two are a good pair, then."

Whatever other meaning that could have had sailed right over his head. "I wouldn't say she's not whiny and needy." He grinned as Kas fluffed her feathers at him. "But she's good conversation and she helps me out a lot. Not a bad trade off"
It meant that he didn't have to wander all that far in search of conversation all the time. It also meant that he didn't get lonely which was probably why he'd never really thought about finding any other source of company.

"Haha, I'm sure it isn't. It's not too comforting to find yourself alone, looking for good conversation. My own avian friend, Kokia, is normally with me. A sweet dear, but she can be a little troublesome at times. Still, it's nice to be able to speak to someone, and know that they are listening."
She stood where she was, feeling a shift of the breeze. Her long horse-like mane swirled around her. Ugh, again?

"You never get lonely that's for sure."
As the wind picked up she hopped off Mana's shoulder and perched between Zumaradi's ears. "Storm's coming ... should find shelter"
His nose scrunched at the idea of a storm but he could smell rain off in the distance. At least that meant that food would be easier to get a hold of later. "I hate to cut our conversation short but i'm afraid ran and i do not get along. A drenched Cheetah makes for a hungry cheetah." He stood up and shook himself out carefully, sure to not dislodge Kas, before he grinned at her. "You will come visit again?" If she was the wind like she said she was then it couldn't be that hard for her to find someone.

Mana did not mind the rain, but it made it impossible for dry wings, and wet wings was one of the few things that she really felt strongly against. The storm was probably needed in these lands, though, as it seemed that patches of the savannah were too dry to live in for too long.
"Certainly," she replied, turning to face him again. She stretched her wing out in front of her, picking out a decent-sized feather. She offered it to the cheetah with a smile. "They can be used to summon me, if you ever need to see me again. If for some reason I cannot make it, my avian Kokia will come in my stead and help you as best she can until I can get there."

He took the feather carefully and handed it up to Kas so that he could still talk and hold onto it. "Thank you." He bowed his head to her slightly. "I'll try not to bother you too often, wouldn't want to be taking up all of your time."
He could hopefully call on her if he ever needed a really good conversation again. At least he knew she didn't dislike him and liked talking to him too.
"If you'll excuse me. My paws can only outrun the rains so long as i get a good head start." He grinned and nodded at her once more before he took off though the grass.

The goddess nodded. "Fair well, then, and make sure to stay dry!" she called out at Zuma and his avian friend. She was unsure if he heard, but she would do her best to let the wind carry her well wishes to the cheetah.
Her gold eyes shifted back to the sky, her eyes full of sadness. "Is it time, then?" she asked, directing her question at no one in particular. With a heavy sigh, she closed her eyes, wrapping her wings around her tightly.
"I guess it is." She stood still for a moment, and in the next, she was gone with a swirl of wind and a small, bright light.
