Anya nodded. "Yes, my Queen. They go to find food for the rest of the pride. They may take some time however since one has no experience hunting what so ever and the other...has an unorthodox style." She flicked her ears, still concentrating on the water.
Many moments went by until her head rocketed into the water. Pulling her head up equally as fast, a fat fish slapped and wiggled within Anya's jawls. She threw the fish onto land watching it gasp for it's water-based oxygen before calming into a muscle-spastic twitch. "For now, there's fish." She gave a light smile to the other lioness.
Cipher and Van managed to find a small group of warthogs. They seemed to be feeding hungrily upon a patch of wild vegetation, snuffing their nostrils into the dirt for foraging. Their large tusks seemed to intimidate the female, but she kept to her ground. Keeping low, she looked over to Van. "W-What should we do?" She murmured lightly, keeping one eye on the beasts.
"First we catch them, then we eat them." He growled not really using logic. Van was way to hungry for that sort of thing, and his first instinct was just to run out attack. But something held him back. Something told him that the end of the hunt wouldn't be pretty or bountiful. Besides, he had his clothes that hindered him slightly, and the hat was sticking out of the vegetation like a warning flag. His tail waved impatiently as he began to stalk, Cipher close behind.

Nadine laughed at the lionesses reply. "Queen huh? I think for the informal you can just call me Nadine" she said with a wink. They were nowhere near large enough, strong enough.... queen just didn't sound right. But what did she know, she'd not had great experiences with the one she was born into.
Appreciating the lions technique, Nadine herself got into the water, feeling the cool water sink through her layers of fur, giving her shivers and goospimples. So with her fellow pride made beside her, she stood still, waiting for her unsuspecting prey."
((crappy reply i know. i'm having a panic attack >.< but i felt the need to reply. i'll write better later tonight when i'm calmed down))

After fishing out enough food to fill hers and Ash's stomachs, Nadine carried it over to where Ash had previously plopped down beside her. pushing over two fish, she began munching on hers. Her great teeth ground the light bones, and Nadine relished the fishy taste. Having already filled her stomach with the water she desired, upon completing her meal, it was very hard to keep her eyes opened. While she worried about the two hunters, it was their choice to go on. She only hoped they were there in the morning so they could move on.
Snuggling close against Ash, with an ear near his heart, Nadine soon fell asleep to the rhythm of his heart and the constant caress of his breathing. Snuggling closer for warm, she was off to dream world.
((come on guys, lets pick this up =P i wanna get to our den.))

Ash let out a tired sigh as he finished the fish Nadine had gotten for him. He stretched out his front paws and yawned a rather loud roar. In mid roar he abruptly stopped as Nadine started to rub against him. He smiled as he looked down at her. "G'night love." He whispered as he rested his head on the top of her's. His breathing slowed and steadied out as he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Kojo flicked his ears forward, looking around at his fellows. This was his 'family'....such a strange thing. He'd been contemplating this for quite a while now, but was suddenly compelled to speak with them, just as they'd chatted idly between each other.
{{I know it's stupid, but Kojo needs to integrate back in.}}

Sleeping soundly through the rest of the night and into the next day, Nadine jerked awake, as if suddenly remembering she needed to do something. Shaking her head a bit to throw away the last bit of sleepiness, she recognized what that was.
Everyone looked like they were back and rested up. Nudging Ash, she got up herself and began to walk around camp rousing people. "Alright, Lets get moving again. We should hit the base of the mountains by moonlight if we push for it." And without hearing complaint, she turned and began the long walk once again. The pads of her feet were still sore, but she got used to the bit of pain every time she walked, and it soon went away.
The group walked for hours. She gave them a break once, when they'd reached a very fresh trail of boar. Being too fresh to ignore, they followed it silently till they came upon a large male. It wasn't hard with the whole pride's help to bring it down, and lunch was had of the poor thing. Tummy's full, she forced the walking yet again, pushing harder.
Before they knew it, the terrain had changed on them. No longer was it the flat, treeless area they were accustomed to. It had changed into hills, and forests. Stopping to get her bearings, Nadine stared left and right. She'd stopped at a stream, roughly six feet wide and it's narrower places, and deep enough for fish. With a look to Ash, and then around up the stream, she made her decision. "We camp here for the night. Tomorrow we follow the stream and try to find a permanent Den. We're only a days travel from the outskirts of the plains, and that's plenty far enough for me. This stream looks as good as any." Turning to Ashoka, her tail flicked, hoping for his approval, yet not truly needing it.
((i pushed us along.))

Ash smiled at the way Nadine handled herself. He gave a slight nod when she looked back at him. They were finally close to having a place to call their own. He couldn't wait to actually settle down. "Hopefully there will be some caves nearby." He said as his gaze wondered around his surroundings. "My guess there is. Just where they are is the hard part." He looked around at his pride and his mate and smiled wide. He trotted over to Nadine and rubbed against her side, purring contently as he sniffed the air for other animals. Nothing would harm his mate or his pride. Not on his watch.

Accepting the nuzzling, Nadine purred back. " I have a good feeling about this place. Lets get some sleep and rest up for the morning. Then the real exploring begins!" Strolling over next to a nearby tree, the lioness plopped down from the day. Too tired to get up for water, she only stared at it longingly. She sensed no danger, and watched as the other lions settled in or went about their business.
Soon falling asleep, Nadine went into a fit of dreams. Flashes of images, places, all confusing and unknown to her ran through her mind as she tried to make sense of them in a confused dream state. Quite suddenly, the images stopped, and before her stood a small girl. Black curly locks of hair shaped her face, and she wore a simple gown of red silk. She looked young, but her eyes... her eyes were almost frightening with the wisdom they held.
" Look..." Was all she said, and then suddenly Nadine was running, only faster than she could ever run. Right from her resting spot, it went over the stream, and down, then up between a rocky valley to the bottom of a mountain. It followed a short path up to the opening of many caves. Entering one, it showed a vast cave network, able to house dozens of lion families. It overlooked the forest somewhat, so defense would be easy.... Nadine's heart quickened, and before she could reach out and look out over the valley she startled awake.
Shaking, the sun was up. Had she slept that long? She immediately woke Ashoka and told him of the images, including that of the little girl. Looking at him apprehensively, she awaited his reply.

Ash was on his back, all four paws up in the air, and was snoring. The sunlight flickered through the tree limbs, landing on his closed eyes. He groaned at the intrusion of light and rolled over onto his stomach, covering his eyes with his paws. Suddenly he was being shook awoke. He growled low and playfully, knowing it was Nadine. Removing his paws from his eyes, he opened them slowly and smiled as he saw Nadine's face. Licking her muzzle he rose up and stretched out his front paws.
Intently, he listened to Nadine as she recounted her dreams. "A...little girl?" He asked in disbelief. "How..strange." He said as he thought about everything she'd said. "I have no clue what kind of sign the little girl is....but..." He looked up at Nadine and smiled. "Maybe the rest is showing us just where we need to go? If it's actually there...and as big as the dreams made it seem....It'd be a perfect home."

"Perfect indeed. Oh Ash i hope it's true. And it wouldn't take but less than an hour to find out! Do you... Do you think we should go ahead and scout it ourselves? Or bring everyone?" Nadine was all things AND subtle, but the suggestion was purposeful. They had had no time alone in the last couple of days, and it bothered her more than she was used to. Kissing her nose to his, she looked at him playfully.
" It's up to you. I'm sure the pride wouldn't mind either way, as long as there is a place to call home soon after..." She paused, staring at the others, most if not all still drowsing.

Ash playfully growled low in his throat. He nuzzled his face close to Nadine's and smiled. "We should let them have a breather. We've been traveling a lot lately. Anyway, it'd be a waste to make them all move when there's a chance the place might not be there. Not to mention I need some alone time with you." He nipped at her ears playfully. "I don't want to share right now." He laughed as he looked at the others. "We should wake them and let them know what's going on." He said as he nodded his head at them.

Nipping back playfully she gave one last look, and nudged kojo awake, telling him what exactly they were going to be off to do, and telling the others to relax, fish, do what they would and that they would be back in an hour or two.

Nadine and Ashoka strolled back into the camp around the time they said they would. Smiling, she turned to everyone. "We've found it. We've found the perfect place. Everyone up! If we're quick, we can get there and you lot can claim your areas and we can still have time for dinner. " Grinning at Ash, she still purred and glistened with a glow of happiness. "Everyone is good to go yes?"
