Elektra3 Because peace, love, and understanding are all very well, but there's something to be said for being with someone who's just as much of a weirdly masochistic single-minded whackjob as you are. So very true. twisted

Taffeara KitsuneChan8888888 Taffeara I was looking at some doujinshi and stumbled across a JouxMalik. ever since, I think that this is my weirdest fav. pairing. *shrugs* you know one that freaks me out? Pegasus and Seto eek er um no offence to people who like that pairing sweatdrop ! Pegasus/Kaiba makes me laugh with glee. XD er is that a good laugh, like a fluff induced? Or is it a laugh that means you find the whole thing hillarious? A laugh that I find the whole thing hilarious. XD

I'm not sure if this is just a strange pairing or not...it's actually decently popular and it's by all means, not really ironic. (Then again, most of these pairiings aren't really ironic...>_>'') But...I'm a fan of Deathshipping: Yami no Malik x Ryou Bakura. ^^ As in, Bad Marik with Good Bakura.
That, and I also love Outcastshipping: Thief Bakura x Kisara. ^_^ And randomness Yami no Malik x Mai.

While other people get sick to their stomach with pairings such as Darkshipping (YnY x YnB), it is inevitable that there will also be other people who find it fascinating.
Even if does mean pairing them both against their will while you stay stuck within the delusions that fanfiction has created in order for you to believe in something that has absolutely no chance of happening. lol
But then again, where would the hott fun be if Yu-Gi-Oh was all het? whee

Malik Ishtar and Katsuya Jounouchi...
Ya, I'd say it's a bit ironic. *shrug* I wouldn't say I've been "stuck in delusions that fanfiction created" though. I inferred this couple all by myself, dear. ^^ And I wouldn't say that it's all delusions. Kazuki Takahashi's story revolves around the Sennen items and a card game. He doesn't ever get into much depth when it comes to the character's romantic lives - that doesn't mean that the characters having them is a delusion. Us fans are simply trying to figure out, if there actually were any real romance in the story of Yuugiou : who would it be between and why...?
Basically. I dunno, I guess I always found the whole, mind slave thing rather kinky, "I own you, call me master," quotes like that made me infer certain things about Malik. So maybe they are off, but it seems pretty damn suggestive. And well, that's when I thought it be damn ironic to put Malik with his mind slaves. Jounouchi just happened to be the one with more of a brain, and character with enough depth to pull it off. I also found that the two have a lot of things in common, and enough things that are different to make it work.
Anyway... I think it's really okay to be creative and play around with the 'what-if's in Yuugiou. Nothings wrong with it, and they really can happen - even if it doesn't happen in the series, if they happen in a story in your head, or a roleplay it's still real to one person: you. And I think that is all that really matters. =D

*applauds Akila* But even with that, I could see Irateshipping being much more possible (and therefore easier to write) than Darkshipping. XD;;;
