Look beyond the assumed. You have a lot of drama/s**t going on in your life right now.

I've heard more suicidal (Or, as you put it "unsavory") thoughts spawned from stress/problems and a mental illness than drinking some coffee and eating some chocolate.Who said it was necessarily caffeine that helped cause the suicidal thoughts? Caffeine, though there is a hell of a lot of it in energy drinks, isn't the only product in them. Here, I'll list ingredients of a energy drink compared to a couple of soda's: Sierra Mist Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, Potassium Benzoate, Potassium Citrate, Ascorbic Acid and Calcium Disodium EDTA Coke Zero Carbonated Water, Caramel Color, Phosphoric Acid, Aspartame, Potassium Benzoate, Natural Flavors, Acesulfame Potassium, Potassium Citrate, and Caffeine Rockstar Juiced Carbonated Water, Fruit Juce Concentrates, Surcose, Glucose, Taurine, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, Pectin, Benzoic Acid, Caffeine, Sorbic Acid, L-Carnitine, Inositol, Milk Thistle Extract, Niacinamide, Calcium Pantothenate, Ester Gum, Ginko Biloba Leaf Extract, Guarana Seed Extract, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Ascorbic Acid, Beta-Carotene, and Cyanocobalamin See how much more chemicals an Energy drink has? Especially with Acids! Soda's have acids too...but damn, that's a lot in one can. I don't even know what most of that stuff is either. Just think about how that could affect your body or mental health. Just like too much Alcohol can damage brain cells and cause you to wake up not knowing what the hell you did, all these ingredient combinations can possibly cause depression. I think anything could be considered a drug (excluding water) if you have too much of it. Caffeine seems harmless because there are so little amount in soda's, try getting pure caffeine and sniffing like 1.5 grams of it...hell even half a gram will be enough. I haven't tried this, I don't do drugs and I don't fall for peer pressure, but I know friends who have and this guy forgot a lot of things that happened during the day and was pretty much wide-eyed the whole school day....shaking, paranoid. If you have a large enough amount of something, it's going to have some sort of an affect on your body. Why do you think people get diagnosed with diabetes? Too much sugar will kill you.

Canis Lupus the LoneWolf Dude...energy drinks are all just nasty to me. I'll drink red bull when it's around(doesn't taste digusting....but not really good either, meh)...and I'll get free cans because one of my friend's Dad works for them(not sure as what, just know they get free Red Bulls or something). Still...heard energy drinks cause suicidal thoughts...and because of all the acids I think they'd damage your body quicker than soda does(which I would consider a slow killer just like most junk food...but I eat and drink the stuff anyway XD).
I think it's just because the kid who drinks it is already emo
