i play trumpet!!
for just over a year!
before that i played clarinet! for 5 years!
our band has 3 female trumpets in a section of 7
2 female french horns, and yes, they are the only french horns
1 female baritones in a section of 2
and our only tuba/euphonuim is also a chica!!!
our school has 2 bands though, in the other band i know of 3 trumpets who are girls, i dont know if there are any others
there used to be a lot more of us, but many quit because our school messed up the schedule so we all had to drop 2 classes

Oh I'm a girl and play a brass instrument. I play the tuba, in fact I'm the only girl in the low brass section.

I'm in the begining band at my school, there are only two girls are in the brass class. Me and another girl. I play the baritone and she plays the trumpet. But there a few others that are girls through out the school. Mostly baritones and trumpets.

Most of the trumpets in marching band are girls too.
After our old director moved away, the first trumpet slipped from a boy (who clearly the old director favored), to a girl, and I stayed the same. Another girls also moved here

lol ... im the first and only girl tuba player ... im making history ... lol my nickname is Mother Tuba ... and there are 7 guys in my sections ... so they make me feel like im a pimp some days, its pretty fun if u ask me

i am one of three trumpet players yeah its gonna be kool next year thogh cuz there are like two others in a band im joining so weee rofl yeah....there are alot of girls that play brass at my school one in tuba and then theres a fat kid....i feel so bad for her

if it's not okay, then it's not the end. I sit with two boys and we spend all of ou directors many lectures making fun of other kids in the band or complaining about how hard our part is
