Hm... In many terms, I think I am. In math and English, I'm better than my mom. Though, I'm an idiot in electronics and am glad Dad isn't....
And sometimes, I feel like I would be a smarter parent. My ma always grounds without putting any real emphasis behind it. She would get mad, but my siblings never learn from their punishments, and when I try to help her out or I get sarcastic in her disciplinary tactics, I get grounded. Never open to listen...

Well, smarter edcuation-wise, yes. Both of them only got up to or past high school, but that's all.
But of course, they're still smarter than me in many other things.

My parents (I think) IS smarter than me but they depend on me [and my brother] for ALL the english things I think because my bro and i no alot of english that they ask us stuff that has to do with it.
My parents just dont understand english, they say the |th| sound like the |f| sound because they dont no how to "say" it.
Im always like "Wuts so hard bout it?!?!!!" but i understand that they only no chinese and... yea.. i luv `em. :] heart

Chocolate marshmallow gum I'm not neccessarily 'smarter' than my parents... it's just that in a few subjects, I know more than they do

Academically I'm more knowledgeable than my mom. Technologically wise, I'm still better at. But my mom is fluent in 3 languages and more experienced with adult stuff. I'm still just a kid. (btw I'm 16)

i totally know what you mean!!! my mom puts me through the same exact thing!! my friends in college say that i'm a lot more experienced than a lot of people going into the work world!!
i should be in finances or something...not in medicine. ><;
btw, i'm 18 right now...and i've been doing stuff for my parents for as long as i can remember.
i think that it pays off though! you really come to understand the responsibilities of the 'real' world. once you get into the work force (or if you're already in the work force), you'll know so much more and will already be comfortable handling money issues, mortgages, taxes, etc. I know i am!

Yes I am smarter than my parents . . . I knew what mortgage meant when I was 10 . . . I'm just really lazy so I just let them do whatever they want to do and stay very far away when something goes wrong . . .
