Abbie smiled,"Oops. I guess I did forget." Abbie looked back at the statue of the woman. "It's a pretty ship, but I honestly didn't come to the pier becasue of that. The wind blew my bandana off and I chased it down this pier. Once I had caugth it, I decided to rest. No harm in that, now, is there?"

"Never claimed it was a harm...say, what do you do? Where you come from?" Angie asks.

"Well, lets see...I cook, play the flute, and clean. Although, the last one isn't one of my favorites. I come from my parents ((XD)) who passed away and left me to wander the earth alone. It's a touchy subject, but I used to live on Manchester Lane." Abbie smiled. 'Why would a stranger want to know such personal questions if she was just going to get on her fancy ship and leave? She is going to leave. Right?' Abbie contemplated this in silence.

Angie turned to Collins and whispered so Abbie couldn't hear, "Perfect. We just found our cook!" Angie then turned back to Abbie and asked, "Say Abbie, seeing as you have no place to go, what would you say if I offered you the place as cook on this fine ship?" She wasn't going to tell Abbie that they were seeking treasure unless she said yes...

Abbie's expression was perplexed. This was certainly a shock, but she spoke,"And where might this fine vessel be heading off to?" Abbie wasn't going to go anywhere without answeres. 'They must be desperate if they're willing to take some stranger onto the ship. How do they know I won't poison the food? Not that I would, but it's strange all the same.'

"Sailing on the seven seas for the adventure of a life time I promise you." Angie said, standing tall and looking over the horizon, her expression showing how much she yearned to be out there right now....

Abbie rolled her eyes and smiled. rolleyes "I guess there is no harm in that, then. It's better than staying here. What do you say to potato soup tonight? That is, if I can start now." Abbie looked at her new Captain hopefully.

Angie nodded, "We hope to be ready by this evening so that will be splendid, of course, we dont have any of the supplies for cooking just yet, thats the last thing, how about we show you around the ship, show you where the kitchen is, then I'll give you some money to go shop for all the food?" she felt she could trust this person, stranger or not.

Abbie was delighted. "Yes, of coarse." She nearly skipped behind Captain Angie as they headed onto the deck. Her step had a new bounce to it. Joy was apparent on her lovely face.

Angie went towards the front where the large steering wheel gleamed in its newness. She opened doors that were below it as the wheel was another story up...she went down a set of immediat stairs and half way down opened a door that was on the side. She walked through, Collins close behind, then Abbie, and she walked several steps before she opened a set of double doors. She opened up into a large room, complete with all the necessary cooking materials, utensils ect, even an oven and a place where items could be kept cool. In one end was several cabinets to keep the supplies, and several barrels for ale and water. The room before had held several benches and a few other supplies.

"This is perfect!! I can definitally see myself working here. I do wish there were more windows down here, though. It's rather dark." Abbie looked around, thoughtfully. Her attention was now on a shining silver skillet. "Oh my dear..." She trailed off, and grabbed a brass lattle. "These are beautiful. Where on Earth did you find something like this?" It was a rhitorical quesion. Said with a great amount of awe under Abbie's breath. A furry creature scampered across the room and Abbies eyes widened in horror as she screamed. Abbie leaped onto one of the tables and scanned the area for more rodents. Abbie snapped out of her tizzy and looked up to face Captain Angie, "I don't like rats much." Abbie explained bashfully. Her face was a deep crimson.

"I found them in a secret place, " Angie smirked, "Dont worry. I have my very lovable cat who will take care of them. She's somewhere in here. Now, Collins and I must go...wait, I've never introduced you to him," Angie smacks her forehead, "This is my first mate Collins." Then Angie says as she pulls out a wad of money, "This should get you a good amount and worth it food materials. Dont be cheap, get the goods stuff, I dont want to have a stomach yelling at me for eating rotten lettuce, no matter how its prepared..." Then she turned on her heels and walked with Collins off the ship, but just before she went up the stairs however she turned to Abbie and said, "I suggest you begin shopping now, be back when you see the firsts stars shining. Also, if you look in some of the cabinets out here in next to the tables you'll find plenty of lamps to set in the holders you'll find in the wall. Sorry we can't have a window down here, we'll work on that." With that said Angie and Collins were gone, off to find more crew.

Abbie squeeked out a soft,"Thank you." Then, she made her way up the stairs, onto the deck, and back to the pier. The market wasn't far away and didn't take long to get to. Abbie scanned the booths and bought the necissary ingredients for many tastey dishes. When she had enough for a few weeks, she was nearly topling over with the weight. She couldn't really see anything in front of her, but kept walking. when she ran into people, she said excuse me and perserviere. She was very happy when she reached the Sea Warrior and called up to the crew for help. Abbie was afraid she would fall into the water.

Angie said to Collins, "So whats left on our list? A navigator I suppose, to control the wheel, I'm not going to be at it the whole time you know, i plan to observe ALL that goes on in my ship..." She then playfully hit him, as if saying that he was gonna try and act like a captain when she wasn't looking.

Once she had made her way to the kitchen with the help of a burley sailor, she put the ingredients in the pantry. She took out a large silver pot and placed it on top of the oven, where it could boil the water for the stew. Abbie began chopping up vegetables and peeling potatoes. It took a long time, but she managed to get all the ingredients into the boiling pot. After adding extra spices for flavor, she looked around the musky room. "Where are those lamps the captain was talking about?" Abbie rustled through the cabinets until she found enough lamps to provide a decent amount of light. After lighting the lamps, she was apauled to see what a mess the room really was in the light. "Oh my dear! This is simply inexcusable! I guess I'll have to do my leaste favorite of forced hobbies: cleaning." Abbie grabbed the apron she had bought in the market and began sweeping away the dirt. Abigale decided to leave dusting for after the meal, to make sure nothing unpleasant reached the food. When she was finished sweeping, she turned off the stove and stirred the stew. It smelled heavenly, and Abbie was excited to be able to present it to the crew. Abbie got out hotpads and put the hot pot of liquid on the table beside the pile of utensils and bowls. Abbie turned around and scanned the room. 'How am I supposed to alert everyone dinner is ready?' Abbie spotted a gold bell near the door frame and rang it loudly, calling,"Dinner is ready! Everyone to the kitchen!" Abbie wasn't sure if anyone would hear her, or respond, but she had to try something. She refused to allow the stew to go to waste.
