Hunters are Blizz's answer to gankers. I really don't believe they are OP, once you get to melee range, hunters are much less of a threat. Mage? freeze em. Warrior? charge em. Lock? FEAR em. Every class has its strength and weakness.

Every class has its strength and weakness. i do gotta agree with the part he says every class has its strengths...... there are some classes that are a bit OP but i cant say hunters are it..... on many aspects they arent much of a threat i think they are pretty balanced

Sadly enough Blizzard said if they could redo it over again they would not include the hunter class. We are just a misunderstood class. We aren't melee no matter how many retarded hunters spec Survival for the melee damage. We are ranged burst damage and CC. I am guilty of messing up and pulling o accident or trapping the wrong mob. It happens. I am getting incredibly good at my class after slightly changing my spec and reading up on it a little. The one thing I hate about hunters is just how much mail gear is shammy gear. I mean, sure shamans need the gear too, but there should be a hunter style item among the quest rewards as well. But hey, Legendary Bow in the new upcoming patch. I can't wait for blizz to nerf it somehow.

Omg, everyone rags on hunters, its the new fad. ecspecially after that new patch that reformed alot of the classes talent trees ( i heard warriors were kinda screwed over, that sucks)
Before hunters, it was Shamans
before that, Rogues ( i still hate rogues)
and before that, warlocks
almost every class besides warrior and priest gets some flak time in WoW, its just how it goes. I'm a beast master hunter and i don't think i'm overpowered, i think i'm pretty equal. every race has atleast 2 spells or what not, that everyone thinks that they screw them over with. I've gotten some nasty comments about being a hunter, but because i'm BM, i don't get it as much as MM ( and i use a caster pet, so not alot of people think i'm worth the trouble of teasing)
I don't know much about how hunters act in PvP realms, my realm, Nazgrel, is PvE. the only hunters that i can complain about, is our Allie hunters, most allies in the realm are like 9 and don't know the class at all.
i guess it just depends on what class is getting nagged on in WoW, and whos the players in your realm.

Aqua90 I don't know much about how hunters act in PvP realms, my realm, Nazgrel, is PvE. the only hunters that i can complain about, is our Allie hunters, most allies in the realm are like 9 and don't know the class at all. heart Aqua LvL 68 Troll BM Hunter I was doin BFD on my priest 2 days ago, and this retarded hunter was just being a straight up dumbshit. He killed the Argent Dawn guy so we had to restart the instance. So eventually the tank asks how old he is, 9. Everyone in the group say "How does that not suprise me" lmao

If you think they're overpowered, why don't you just make a hunter? Believe me, I know someone that is about a lvl 63 hunter, and they easily defeated a frost mage. A FROST MAGE!!! eek They are kings of control, and that mage was killed, fast.

Obviously all the mages you've ever talked to wear plate and have pure stam gear.
Mages are squishy as all hell, a hunter has no problem taking one down.

Yeah, you get my point.
I guarantee you 99% of the people who stated that hunters are OP have started a hunter. Whether they leveled it or not is a completely different matter, but we've all made one.

OP? lol that must be a joke not to offend anyone but hunters for are the worst class for pvp but some time useful for raid if the player is older than 10 i can take down any hunter with out much of an effort with my warrior and if it is with my destro lock then its a 4 shot no matter what (soulfire is the s**t xp blaugh )

RivFador Rainbow_Blender they aint overpowered, idiots who can't play their class and get owned by them say that because they're cry babies. alot of hunters are good players and i like them, but the majority are 10 year old retards who truely deserve the huntard name because of their complete non understanding of their own class, most of these huntards can't dps at all and it'll take them 5mins to down a rat. but most of the hunters i know are great mature players who play wonderfully and are just as powered as the rest of us. nonono, those "10 year olds" jsut roll full bm tree.. lewl im 15 with third 3v3 on my server 2298 ;P

Okay...so, I'm sensing a bit of hosility towards hunters here. I'll admit that I chose a hunter because I WAS new to WoW, but I have learned and mastered my class.
I'm not a "lazy BM huntard." I'm Marksman. And I provide decent crowd control, thank you very much.
I'm not overpowered. Every class has its weakness. Ours is Melee. Warriors, Paladins, Rogues. Three classes that give me Hell. *Don't even mention wing clip, please. It's non-applicable if stunned to death.*

Ahhh.. OP = Overpowered huntard =...... I get it.. smile I never think bad names for people so this is kinda new to me. I personally think Warlock are overpowered (but that is just me) every class has a major advantages and disadvantages... it is up to YOU to learn your class. I have met many players who don't know their class sad I don't know why if they are level 50..... so only thing can come to mind. 1. They "power level" via another character running them quest. 2. They are bought. either way, any class who knows how to play their character will excel EVEN with poor gear. They might be the "top of the class" but at least can hold their own until they lose because of outgear player who also know their class smile Just a random comment, but it took me a real long while to REALLY get to know my hunter, and she was near 40 by the time I could. So some of us are kinda slow at it, but once we learn, we're good at our class. I'm working on getting to know other classes as well, but I want to play them all, and it gets a bit frustrating when I want to play more than one char, or, by the time I log into them, I want to play something else.

Hunters are a very handy class to pvp with, especially when it is your first character. My first character was a druid (feral one) and it took me a very long time to be able to not just die every time in pvp and switch to travel form and run like hell. With my second character, my hunter, it was much easier to actually do some damage, intercept rogues and use my different utility spells to my advantage without freaking out. About the usefulness for a raid, I think hunters are very decent dps and cc, and they have a high survivability. And the age? come on, you're not going to pick on someone so young, and to be honest, the youngest kids won't bother raiding. It's the group a little older (14-1 cool who think they are OP but really aren't
