Gabrielle widen her eyes in disbelief at Aphrodite. "Aphroditteee" She muttered. By then it was too late and the goddess had spoken and ruined any chance at bargaining with the god. "Well, like it would work. Though...Ares can be blinded by his own self ego sometimes."
A flash brightened the room and Gabrielle closed her eyes to shield away from the impact of the light. As she opened her eyes and adjusted, she not only saw Athena but she saw Xena as well. The impact of seeing her friend released a whole bunch of anxiety off her shoulders. But the feeling didn't last long as Ares put a ball of fire up to her face. Feeling the flames, Gabrielle quickly turned her head away. "Dagger of Helios? Whats a god have use for a dagger unless... Oh Duh! Bu- What god does Ares want to kill? Athena? It shouldn't matter, Xena's not stupid enough to give Ares the dagger anyways and Ares should know that."
Gabrielle's prediction grew as she witnessed the main goddess fall and wrapped around some chains. She couldn't help but give a look of sympathy to Athena, knowing that frustration and irritability that they both had. "Wonderful, this is just getting better by the minute." She thought. Glancing up at Xena, Gabrielle looked at her to try and communicate to the same anguish she knew her friend was feeling. "It's going to be fine. We'll get out of this safe and sound and next thing we know, we'll be heading down to Amphipolis to visit your mother. See? Things will be okay. Nope. This is hardly a problem for us." She couldn't help but give off clear signals of fear and the same anguish of her current position, though.

Xena lands stylishly, when most mortals merely fall over when being transported by Gods, but she landed with a warrior's elegance, and Athena looked slightly ticked off. Xena's sword was placed back in her sheathe. Even if Ares tried to attack her at some point, Xena knew she could handle it. After all, Ares was pretty pathetic...he'd been trying to get her for how many years now? For the God of War...he sure was a disaster. She glanced around the castle like place and rolled her eyes, Just like gods to not be anywhere... she thought with a sigh, glancing over to Athena, "Alright, where is she," came the warrior woman's threatening voice as she glanced hard at Athena. Even Aphrodite would be better than Athena...she wished the Goddess was here.

"Well if it isn't the Warrior Babe herself! It's about time you showed up," Aphrodite said once Athena disappeared. "I would've come to get you myself, but the "all mighty" God of War was doing the whole 'threatening' thing with your little bard," she explained, glaring over at her brother. "And just so you know, Bro... I'm the favorite. And you had better not even try to wrap those grungy chains around me, or you'll be fighting goats off for like, months."
