-When that final turn came, resounding with the delicious sound of laughter and pleasure, he slowed softly, not intent on bowling into her. Paw coming to rest on her tail, a silent victory, for he was too tired to spur the game on further with a verbal shout of 'tag', he simply stood limply, watching her with a smile as he tried to catch his breath.
If he knew what a mess he looked like, sploches of mud clunging in a few places, feathers hanging heavy with water and weariness, ever perfect mane and ponytail actually mused and tangled Lim likely would have been mortified. But for now he stood tired, contented, basking in the glow of enjoyment that radiated off her and only amplified his own.-

She rolled over on her side, her breaths slowing, but remaining deep. It was a moment before she said anything again, waiting until her lungs felt full again. She felt so refreshed! And it wasn't because they had finally stopped.
She finally got it...or at least, she was beginning to understand what Victor had meant. Maybe she had been neglecting a duty of her own...one to herself. She smiled at him, weariness touching it but not taking away any of its sincerity, "...thank you."
