Padding back to where he had left the apprentice he shook his head. The squirrel hanging in his mouth bumping against his forelegs as he did. This time he decided a boost in confidence would be better than a lesson learned. He made sure the apprentice wasn't looking before taking his tail and brushing off the spot where the frog was buried. With the snow away the earth that had been moved was clearly visible. Turning he padded off into the distance so it looked like he hadn't been standing around waiting for the apprentice to find the frog.

He sniffed and looked but he couldn't find anywhere where his pawsteps hadn't steppe upon. But then, he saw it. a place where there was no snow. to him, it was like Starclan was helping him upon the road to becoming a warrior. He hopped over and began to dig away the earth before seeing the frog and picking it up in his mouth. He re-buried the hole and dashed off to find Tuxedopelt
