Tinania didn't look up, she couldn't. The moment she did she be lost to him and she knew it. Closing her eyes she shook her head "Your staying here Lucas, this is where you belong. I can't take you from this place and I won't." her wings move slowly behind her as she spoke. She could feel herself breaking apart. And it was like the same pain she felt the day she left her home.
Seiji pouts at his mother and Lucas, whimpering he starts to cry the moment he see that his mother wouldn't look at either of them. He was starting to wonder if he had done something wrong.
Outside the door, two small felines bound towards the door. A small brown one and a seagreen on. Sniffing at the door Rose smiels as she nods towards the door "She is here, Tinania is here."
Kaela smiles as she looks around, spotting the open window she lifts her paw "Up there, we can get in up through the window." without waiting she leaps up onto the window sill, followed by Rose.

"Tinanaia look at me..." Lucas said softly, reaching down to lift her chin so he could look her in the eyes. "Please?"
He could hear Seiji crying, and he hoped that moved her too, he hoped that she would realize that they cared for her and needed her. If not... He didn't know what he was going to do.
The window was infact open, And just as the cats jumpe don the sill, there was a loud low rumbling growl from the nearby kennel, followed by a loud barking.

Tinania was about to look up at Lucas until she heard a yelp. Startled she looks over just in time to see a bundle of seagreen and brown smack the floor. Blinking her eyes widen before she gasp pulling away from Lucas "Rose, Kaela?" bending down she was shaking as she picks up both of the feather tail cats.
Rose chuckles as she place her paws on Tinania's nose "The very same, you knwo your very hard to track?" glancing over at Kaela, her long ears twitch as she mews. Kaela nods as she jumps onto Tinania's shoulder "We thought something might have happen to you."
Tinania actually smiles as she pets both the cat "Ive been here, in Free Haven. But I'll be returning home soon, then I will continue my training like a promised." she still didn't look at Lucas. Instead she stepped bass him and kneels in front of Seiji.
Running her fingers carefully along the little dragon's cheek she sighs "Mommy is okay Seiji. I have a couple of friend I would like you to meet." nodding to both felines she smiles as then bow in a graceful manner "This is Rose and Kaela. Can you be a big boy for me and watch them while I make dinner?"
Rose arches one brow as she looks at Tinania, mewing she shakes her head "What is wrong Nani?" when Tinania shakes her head again as she stands the cat gibe a low growl "You lie, now what is wrong? I know you better then anyone remember?"
Seiji looks down at the two feline, with a chuckle he carefully pets Kaela. Kaela instantly starts purring before she lays down in front of Seiji "leave her be Rose, maybe she needs time alone?" frowing Kaela shakes her head as Rose keeps watching Tinania.
Turning away Tinania steps pass Lucas, going towards the door again "I will be back in an hour..then I will start dinner."

Lucas frowned and looked at the cat. He wasn't used to Felines talking, but he knew that it had information that he wanted. As Tinania walked by he grabbed her arm, holding her tight so she couldn't leave.
"You... Rose was it? What do you mean she's lying?"

Tinania winces as she tries to pull away from Lucas. Frowing she looks towards Rose, then away "Rose you better not say anything. I said I was okay, not tell him that." her wings move rather quickly as she balls her fists up.
Rose blinks before she mews, shaking her head she looks toward the two human "You lie again, how can you say you are okay? Your eyes look as if you been crying or are going to cry. And you don't look at anyone when yours upset." mewing again she shakes her head before she makes a face "What ause you to get upset, what did he say?" she eyes Lucas as he eyes look him over.
Tinania didn't say anything, she just pulls again trying to get away. She knew Lucas would figure it out, and she didn't want to deal with it right now.
Seiji laughs as he continues to pet the now content Kaela. His own wings flap behind him as his tail smacks the cough a few time. He seem off in his own world now that he had a distraction.

Lucas frowned and looked over at Tinania. "Was it because I said they are letting you leave?" His grip didn't tighten so much as intensify, he didn't want to hurt her, but he wanted her to know that this wasn't going to be over until they came to an understanding.
"I don't want you to go... But at the same time I want to meet your family, I want to see where you came from..." Looking at her he tried to smile, it came, but it was slow, and it was weak... sheepish even.
"I don't know what the future holds for the both of us... But I am willing to give it a shot... To see what is beyond that next hill..."

Tinania looks back at him, no longer hiding the tears as they fall down her face "I don't want to go back home. I don't want to go back tot he place that nearly killed me. I am staying here, or going somewhere else, but I will not go back to Emerald Haven. So stay here Lucas, because their is no point in thinking you will see my family." tugging rather hard she pulls her arm from his grip. Turning she opens the door quickly only to slam in behind her as she steps outside.
Running away from the house, she moves quickly towards the local marketplace. She just had to think of something, a way to get keep herself here.
Rose blinsk before she shakes her head, looking up towards Lucas she mews "The last time I saw her act like this, her Ex told her he loved her. This was when she had another man trying to take her for himself by force, so she pushed hima way to protect him." shaking her head she mews again as she paws at the couch.
Seiji looks up the moment the door slams, whimpering he makes a few grabby hands towards the door. Kaela mews then moves quickly to his lap to distract the small dragon onces again.

Lucas sighed and rubbed his temples. He had a choice to make, one that he knew was going to be the hardest choice he had ever made before. On the one hand, he could keep her here, keep her happy, keep her with him... Or he could take her home, see that she was safe, know that he could wake up each morning and know she was safe... Know that she could walk out the door and maybe, just maybe... not take an arrow through the heart.
He turned to the Feather Tail cats and chewing his cheek he cleared his throat. "Can you watch him and keep him safe... Or should I take him with me when I go hunting for her... I'm sure we've got a baby carrier thing around here somewhere..."
He'd be faster if he didn't have to take Seiji, but he was obligated to make sure the child was safe first... He had to... and he knew he was losing time... Each second he wasn't out that door was another second for her to get further away...

Rose looks towards Kaela and Seiji, with a mew she turns back to Lucas "I think he will be safe. Just keep those canines out of here." moving towards Seji, she lays down next to him and Kaela.
Kaela smiles as she brings her head up from her paws "Go after her, he'll be fine with us." flipping her feathered tail at Seiji, she laughs as he let out a squeal of delight.
Tinania stands just inside the marketplace. Shaking her head she pulls her coat closer to her body. Regaining her emotions, she moves around the other people looking for something that they all would enjoy to eat. Her eyes glances towards the outside once in awhile.
Turning she smiles to the butcher as she looks over the cut meat. Although she didn't eat meat, she knew everyone else in the house did.

Lucas nodded, and he was out the door quickly, his coat coming on as he moved. It had warmed somewhat, and the snow didn't quite come up to his ankles, but it was cold enough for him to remember to wear a jacket. Looking around, he kept an eye out for Tinania, in a village this small, it wouldn't be hard to spot her.
Lifting up the hood on his coat, he moved it to cover his horns and his hair, so she wouldn't see him coming from far off. He blended into the crowd, taking on their shuffle-step with ease.
He stalked his prey, and once he was sure she wasn't going to be able to get away, he sprung, and wrapped his arms around her.

Tinania gasps before she tries to get free. Her wings make a bussing sound as she struggles "Let me go!!!" she didn't realize that is what Lucas holding her. Moving her hands, she attempts to reach for her hidden wand in her belt. If she could grab it, then she be able to get her attacker off of her.

Lucas chuckled. "I'll let you go if you promise not to run away again," He said in his voice, deciding not to hide who he was from her, as that would probably get him slapped, or worse.
Letting her go, he took a step back, and let his hood fall back. "Can we talk now?"

Tinania realx the moment she heard Lucas's voice. Turning towards him, she looks up at him before looking away. Chewing on her bottom lip, she turns away from him as she close her eyes "Lucas...I should gather food for dinner..."

"I'm not stopping you am I? We can talk and shop..." He said, holding out his arm to her. He knew she was having issues, and he wanted to help her through those issues...

Tinania looks at his arm, reaching out she pauses in mid air before pulling her hand back. Shaking her head, she turns as if she was going to run again. She couldn't talk, not right now. She just had to think, and she was starting to belive the only way would be if she left Free Haven.
