x-laurencha-x clarinets are soooo much better than trombones as are flutes and trumpets because  pwns  !!! its just so much fancier! -evil moment- Trombones still own retard, our music can be in Treble too, dont use clefts to prove a non exsistent point -.- and atleast we dont sound like nails on a chalkboard -clarinets- and whos more important when it really counts, brass?

trombones. Not even a competition. Just ask the clarinetist I turned down for the trombonist.

if she knew how to play clarinet at least semi-well, she would know that clarinets sound so much cooler than tombones. good clarinet players know this... like me! (btw, i'm dating a tombone player)

Clarinet is nice, but Trombone is better.

Ugh...The reason so many people play the clarinet is because the think trombones are nerdy.Also because they probably are not up to a challenge because trombones take a lot of air to play unlike clarinets.Just by saying 'brass suck' will cause a riot.there is no reason to yell about this in a rudely manor.Now by saying this many more will get mad.In my opinion both are great.People have different likes and hates but this is no excuse to yell about your hate or brass.What you don't know is that trombones are harder to clean play and many others.But Im not saying this to make anyone angry but I'm just saying this in a orderly Mainer.By saying this you are just saying 'Hey I wanna fight!'

Trombones have slide. No other instrument has a slide. (Excluding slide trumpet.)
What makes a clarinet different? It's got buttons and a reed. So do saxes, and oboes.
And we have more sexual innuendos associated with us... so there!
But in all seriousness... sorta... I have a lot of clarinet playing friends, and it's a pretty cool instrument. I just like mine more.
