"What? Oh, I don't know. Maybe." He said sheepishly, frowning. Not sure whether to take that as a playful insult, or a serious one...he shrugged it off. It wasn't as if comments like those were rare-for it was an every day thing to get made fun of, but coming from Evelyn...it hurt. "Really? That's uh...good." His voice was quiet, still thinking of the slightly shocking comment she made.
His mind then drifted, as the other two shared a moment of compassion. He didn't catch the words that Kureno said, nor saw the incredibly good reaction that Evelyn gave, which...was all for the better for all three of them. If he had been paying attention, jealousy would have rose to the surface once more and he would have said or done something stupid again, only digging himself deeper into the hole.
No more mess ups, he wouldn't allow it. Evelyn didn't want to be with Bliss, she wanted to be with Kureno...but Bliss was the father...so she probably felt obligated to be with him, right? If he had rejected the thought of helping her out, no doubt the other two would run off together...
And that would tear him apart. He had lost Milkshake, he wasn't going to loose another mare. He had the opportunity with Lovey Dovey...for the pair of friends truly loved eachother, but fate took it's evil turns...and she ended up creating a family for herself...and now, he did too.
The stallion was off in his own world now, completely forgetting the other two's existance, and he even turned his head in the opposite direction...not on purpose of course...he hadn't meant to forget about Evelyn...
He just wished his daughter would show up, no doubt she'd lighten the mood. Her strange personality was entertaining to say the least, and she'd be able to make her father not regret what happened...she'd make it all better. She had too, she just had too. Vanilla was still a bit ignorant of things, but definitely much smarter than her father (thanks to her mother's traits) so she knew things...she knew what to say it situations, she knew what made Bliss tick, and that's what he needed. He needed his daughter...
And right on cue, a creamy figure came bursting out of the forest's edge at an incredibly unsafe pace for her condition. 'Nilla didn't exactly care that she was carrying little ones, and didn't think of their health or their safety, she just wanted to get out of the seeping darkness as quick as possible.
BAM!
The mare's attention had been locked on whatever had spooked her in the forest, and she couldn't tell where she was going. Right into the side of the winged stallion, she plunged and fell down at the impact. "Ooof. Darnit." She shook off the surprise of the attack and stood up rather quickly. Again, maybe not in the best interest of her unborn foals, but certainly in hers. Lying on the ground didn't exactly peek her interest all that much.
"Sorry darling." Vanilla Swirl giggled, as she took in the sight of the stallion she attacked. "Lost my balance. Clumbsy me...Daddy?" Lavender eyes shot instantly at the dark stallion that was standing almost right next to her because of the position she was in. "Oh, I didn't see you, Daddy! Sorry." Again, she giggled a flirty and cheery giggle, one that she developed after meeting so many stallions and learning that she did well in that department.
But someone else was there besides Bliss and the handsome winged fella. A mare. What? A MARE? Who the heck did this female think she was being in the presence of Bliss? Oh, she'd get a mouthful, she would. But oh! 'Nilla's eyes darted at her stomach, which was showing, but not as blantely obvious as her own, who seemed to be due in a few days. So this female was pregnant. Good, maybe she was coming hear to tell Bliss that she didn't want to be friends with him because she didn't want him to interefere with her new children's uh, smarts.
Yeah, that made sense. Of course, Vanilla Swirl also shared in her father's lack of putting two and two together right off the bat.
"Congrats." She giggled, motioning her own belly. "It's fun, in a way. Not anything I expected really...my boys were ridiculously easy. But it's good." Lavender eyes darted from the mare, to the winged stallion and back at her father. "...What's going on, anyways? I feel like I interupted a very uh, awkward," She motioned at Bliss's attitude he was giving off, "seemingly angry," She motioned at Kureno's own attitude, "and emotional confrontation." She motioned lastly at Evelyn.
Boy did she not know how right she was.

In some cases, a ghost was more than enough. Her mouth parted slightly, poised to respond...
And then another pregnant mare burst onto the scene, barreled into Kureno, and addressed Bliss as 'Daddy.'
So this was Bliss' infamous daughter. She was a pretty little thing, a pleasant cream tone with just to right amount of light pink and soft sky blue upon her braided locks. Her belly swelled as though it might pop at any moment, though such advanced pregnancy did nothing to dispel the mare's charm.
"... It is a pleasure to meet you, Vanilla Swirl. I am Evelyn." She inclined her head just so, her neck arching prettily and her lashes cast downwards.

Had he been slightly more unbalanced, the unexpected impact of the young mare colliding headlong with his side might have sent him sprawling to the ground, but as it was, he only grunted and stumbled sideways, instinctively using his wings to steady himself. For a moment, he waited to catch the breath she had knocked out of him (although it would be a cold day in hell before he let anyone see the impact she'd had on him), then turned his flat azure stare on the creamy mare with a raised eyebrow.
'Darling?' he wasn't sure how he felt about being called that, but he supposed every soquili had their quirks...
"...It's nothing." To those who didn't know him, it would have seemed like a cold dismissal, but in 'Kureno language' it was about as friendly as he got with strangers. Especially strangers that seemed fond of crashing into his side and sending him stumbling. Bliss certainly wouldn't have gotten the same courtesy.
Casting a curious glance towards Evelyn before he met the mare's gaze, he frowned before complying with a slight dip of his head at the introduction. "Kureno," he murmured gruffly, casting a sidelong glance at Bliss. They didn't resemble each other much, but he'd seen stranger cases.

Speak of the devil, and the devil shall come.
Bliss was taken back as his daughter crashed through the forests edge and plowed into Kureno. Gah, out of everyone to run into, did it really have to be him? The stallion watched as her stomach bonded back and forth, and he winced. God, really...if those babies didn't turn out messed up, it would be a miracle.
"Hey 'Nilla sweetie." He smiled at his her, hoping that neither Evelyn nor Kureno would say anything about why they were there, if anyone had to do it, it had to be him. She wouldn't take it good at all, but she would take it worse if it came from either of them. "Hehehe...yeah...they were easy..." The stallion strayed from the conversation, casting his eyes downward. Awkward, very very awkward...he only wished...
She glared at the mare, debating whether or not to lash out on her. Such rash actions would later kick her in the butt no doubt, but this mare didn't have any idea what she was getting herself into, showing herself around Bliss. What nerve! Stomping across somebody else's property without permission was just down right wrong.
But a fake, and rather perfectly hidden fake smile instantely flashed into her cheeks and she laughed. "You know my name, do you? I haven't been called that in a long time. 'Cept when Daddy gets mad." She looked at her father sternly, and shook her head. It was true, he only called her that when she deserved it. "But Evelyn? I've heard much about you, I'm sorry to say. He wouldn't stop talking about you for days...drove me insane." 'Nilla decided to hold off on the 'I hate you' comments until after they had a pleasant conversation, or at least until she found out why Evelyn was there in the first place.
Then she looked at Kureno. Boy, was he a handsome one. Definitely one for the taking, if she could...but in her current state, that was probably a horrible idea. "Kureno. Lovely name." She giggled, and swayed her body towards him, paying no attention to the fact she was fat. It didn't matter, if he didn't care...she wouldn't care...
She noticed the atmosphere was off, just a tad. Something was wrong with the picture she was standing in...something serious. She couldn't quite figure it out...but there was definitely something wrong.
"Hey, Evelyn...is the father going to help you? Because I know from experience, it's better to find him right away and tell him...because if they come and you don't find him, you're pretty screwed. Unless you're already mated...I..." She paused, and shook her head at her own thought. Kureno couldn't be the father...he didn't seem protective of her belly, only her...so if Kureno wasn't the father...then she wasn't mated.
And if Kureno wasn't the father...who was.
"No." She simply stated, her eyes growing wide suddently. "No."

Evelyn turned to Bliss and arched one eyebrow, her mouth curving in a slight smile. What had he to say that would fill days, of the mare whom he had met but once?
"I apologize if my use of your full name has caused any discomfort. To call you 'Nilla seemed to... familiar." She said absently, her thoughtful gaze still directed at Bliss. "I am not mated. However, the father has... said... that..."
Evelyn froze at the tone of shocked denial in the other mare's voice, her lavender eyes widening. She looked for all the world like a doe caught in the blazing headlights of a Ford Four-by-Four.
If only 'Nilla's denial was due only to the upsetting notion that the stallion she had been... flirting? Could her swaying body and giggle be called flirtatious? ... with only moments before was going to be a father...
But Evelyn knew that such an explanation could not be so. Shock that ran that deep would not be present in the voice of any mare, even those frivolous fillies who believe everything that moves is their next greatest love.
'Nilla had connected the dots. She had found out that her father was likely the father of Evelyn's children.
Evelyn stared at Bliss, uncertainty clouding her thoughts. He knew his daughter. He knew how she'd react. If she'd fly into a rage... and that would not bode well, for surely such a rage would be directed at the mare who had 'stolen' her father. When both those mares were pregnant... any serious damage could result in damage to the foals!
What should she do?
