Raphe's smile brightened, and then he laughed. It was so wonderful to meet someone who obviously had different views of the world than his own, and yet they seemed to agree on so many things. Tina seemed okay to let their differences stay different though, without forcing her own opinion on him or anything, and that was wonderful too.
"Yes, I will be fine regardless of what the weather brings." He grinned, and shook the last of the snow from his coat. He had been told very early that beauty wasn't always perfection, so even if it rained and had to suffer through being wet and cold... The least he could do was suffer in a picturesque manner.
The little unicorn trotted over and dropped his head near hers with an inquisitive expression now that his rain crisis was over. "What are you looking for? I don't think there are any good grasses in this area."

With a headtilt, Tina continued to rustle at the ground before speaking to the colt again. "Nothing in particular." Tina then said, while brining her eyes on the nearer colt. "I like to amuse myself with little things, I was just nudging at the ground a bit. I like to look at everything that I can.." she then shrugged lightly, feeling sort of tired from the colt on her body.
The filly then bounced ahead of the colt, while shaking her legs out one by one. "Ah, I really needed to get my legs moving for a moment." Taking a few more moments to herself, Tina grinned before walking back up towards the other colt. "Yeah, sometimes it gets just too cold for my tastes."
Her bouncy energy helped relieve some of the chill on her body, but the muggy atmosphere wasn't helping at all. "It sucks when the sun's not out.." she then commented, while glancing up at the cloudy sky.

"Oh," Raphe replied, peering down at the ground where she had been nudging after Tina had moved on. "I like looking up more than I like looking down, the trees branches are always so different, and I like looking at clouds." Well, he liked looking at those things when there wasn't a convenient pool of water to look at his reflection in. It was harder to practice and make sure he was suitably pretty when there was no way to see himself.
He glanced up now, but the clouds were mostly uniform and not very interesting at all. "Yeah, things are nicer with more sun. But I don't mind the cold much." His coat seemed perfect for winter, both in appearance and in thickness. As long as he didn't get himself wet or stay out when it got really, really cold, he would be fine.
"Did you want to play a game? Maybe running around will keep you warm." He grinned and playfully bounced away from the thick snow drifts, to where they would have an easier time running. The last thing the little colt wanted was for his new friend to get all cold an unhappy, or turn into a popsicle.

"You are just a happy-go-lucky guy, aren't you?" she then said, with the usual amused grin. The weather was completely awful, and yet Raphe was still happy? Where did this colt come from? La la land? Either way, Tina was glad he was at least positive, rather then the opposite, since negative personalities DID suck...
"A game? What did you have in mind? Most games make you dirty you know." That fact made Tina giggle slightly, since it was a known occurrence in any kind of fun. "Are you sure you will be alright if that happens? I wouldn't want you melting or something." With a playful grin, the filly bounced slightly before staring off into the gray atmosphere.
She hadn't played a game in quite awhile, since her siblings seemed disconnected at times. "Now what game keeps us clean.." she pondered the possibilities before turning her attention back to the colt.

"I don't see why I shouldn't be, content is better than discontent." Raphe's winsome smile was back as he swished his tail gently behind him. He knew there were proper times to be unhappy, like when the one you were with was unhappy, otherwise you would just be seen as callous and uncaring. But this was fun, lighthearted stuff, so he wouldn't let himself be bothered for long.
The colt laughed again. "I am pretty sure I won't melt if I get a bit of dirt on me, but I'll not be happy. " He said lightly, going rather still himself as he thought through not only the games that would keep them clean, but games Tina would really like. He wouldn't suggest hide and go seek since he would have the obvious advantage in all that snow. Nor would he suggest going to play by the stream because that was a source of both wet and dirty.
Perhaps Tag would be good. Tina was faster than him after all, and it didn't really have to involve dirt of any kind. With a grin he bounced forward, nudged his friend's nose with his own, and gracefully leaped off into the snowy drifts. "Tag! You're it!"

Hehe aw, he wanted to play tag? Tina was happy to play such herself, and she giggled while bounding after the colt. "Well, I'll be easy on you, then." Since if she tackled him, he would get dirt all over himself. "Running is good for both of us, so we will surely warm up!" Tina was moving as fast as she could in the snow, but Raphe seemed to be better at maneuvering!
It was like snow was natural for him or something! "Grr, I'll get ya!" she then said, while zig-zagging to try and and cut his path off. Her legs were stumbling, but they were putting in their greatest effort to try and catch Raphe's movement. "Ahaha, Tag!" she then said, as she knocked her side into his. It was a lucky catch, and Tina quickly turned herself in the opposite direction to get away from him
He would probably catch her easily, since her strategy in the snow was terrible.

Raphe laughed brightly as Betina called after him, and skidded slightly in the snow as he was bumped. She hadn't caught up as fast as he had expected. After all, he hadn't quite been able to keep pace with her in their race for the meadow, so it wasn't that she was a slower runner...
The little unicorn gave her a bit of a head start before starting the pursuit, his natural light-footed grace giving him a bigger advantage than he had expected. With his delicate leaping the snow was hardly an obstacle. Raphe giggled and called out from close behind her, "I bet if you make longer jumps, you'll catch me faster!"
With that he bumped her flank with his muzzle, being careful not to touch her with his horn. "Tag!" He grinned and whirled around, and pranced off in another direction.

"I don't need your advice!" she then said, while realizing she had been tagged. Her face was still playful and cheery, and she raced behind the colt in a tired manner. "I don't know how you can have this much energy when its cold..." Tina slowed herself then, and watch the colt race throughout the snow.
"Heh, I want to be good at running some day." she then said to herself, while watching Raphe glide across the land. "Hey, you can give yourself a breath you know!" Betina moved herself forward again so that she was following behind him, since she was curious as to where he was running too.
"Do ya see anything interesting around you?" Was he going somewhere in particular? She followed behind his tracks while wondering how far and fast he was gonna run across!

Raphe was all smiles as he leaped through the snow drifts. "I am breathing," he said brightly, finally slowing to a graceful trot. His pose was still impeccable despite his tiring body. He slowly wheeled around and pranced back to rejoin his friend, enjoying the slower pace while he recovered.
"I think you're good at running," He said as he approached. "You were much faster than I was running to the meadow. I can't run as fast as you in a sprint, but I really like the snow."
He had been just running in any direction for the sake of running, so he didn't quite catch on to the real meaning of Tina's question. "I don't know, do you see something interesting? It looks like there's just a lot of snow here."

"I was hoping there was maybe something else over here." Tina then said, once she had finally caught up to the slowing colt. "Eh, apparently not! Snow snow and more snow! My totaly demise." She just couldn't catch a break, could she? Either way, she grinned at the colt, and only laughed at his other words.
"I dunno, I think it was because I had an advantage. At this point, I am totally worn out. I'm not in good shape." She giggled to herself, and rolled her shoulders back and forth to emphasize her 'laziness'. "You probably have better stamina, all that lake-looking has gotten you into fine shape."
Even though she was joking, she sorta wondered if that kind of confidence worked... "Eh, I am boring you know, being all out of shape and stuff. And I apologize for that." She couldn't be fun all the time, and she frowned at such news.

"I suppose maybe if we walk far enough we'll find something... The pond is probably back in that direction. It's much nicer than snow." He returned an amiable grin. "I don't think standing around looking at myself does much for my figure, but it makes me feel better anyway."
The little unicorn's smile faded into a thoughtful expression. "I do run a lot, that's probably why I can last longer. It's hard to be really, really graceful when I'm running, so I've been practicing, but I'm still not as fast as you were." Sadly enough, it all came down to being pretty again. Raphe liked knowing he could run with as much poise as he could walk, so he practiced it until he didn't need to give it any thought. Naturally the good condition of his muscles was a beneficial side-effect of his practice.
His smile came back, a bit gentler than his full-out delighted grin. "But you don't need to apologize, since you're not boring at all. I like spending time with you. But you could run with me if you really wanted more often, imagine how fast you could be if you really practiced!"

Despite Tina's grumpiness towards the snow, it was pleasant to have Raphe's positiveness towards everything cheering her up. "Yeah, let's just start walking that way." she added, while brining the colt to her side while walking slowly back towards the pond. She only giggled as he spoke about his staring business again, before adding, "Well, maybe you can teach me some things about posing."
Hell, why not?! If that was what the colt was good at, Tina supposed she could at least try!
"I am sure we could practice running sometime as well, though I would probably prefer when this snow is starting to vanish. I tend to be better on a normal landscape." With a playful frown, she looked at the snow with total discomfort, before brining her eyes on the direction they were heading. It felt sort of nice to leave the mass-snow area, and she was thankful for the change of scenery with the colt.

Raphe was very content in Tina's company right then, being asked to teach her things even in slight jest made him as happy as being looked at did. It was a little surprising, but if Tina wanted to know what he knew about looking pretty, he would gladly share it with her. Maybe she had some things she could share with him too, after all, she seemed to have her own ideas about handsomeness and prettiness.
"I would love to teach you, if that's what you wanted," he said, walking beside her with a slight bounce in his step. "But once the snow goes away you might not need to run with me at all, you'll just be faster on your own. It would be practice for me to keep up, at least until you got tired."
There was definitely less snow under the trees once they got away from the meadow, but Raphe was pretty indifferent. His initial reaction to snow had been very poor, but it was just a part of the world he lived in now so he had adjusted accordingly and even grown to like it.

"Naw, I doubt I would be that fast." she then said, while staring up at the familiar trees. The wind was not as terrible when they were under the trees, and Tina was glad for that. She suddenly felt herself warm up, and that was nice! "I'd like to see some of your poses before the day ends, you've been talking so much about them, that I think it would be hilarious to see them for myself."
Well, hilarious only because she was new to this 'staring at self' trend. "Are you just practicing now for when you are an adult? I don't think anyone cares about kid's posing.." she giggled lightly, thinking it was a random step to maturity or something.
"Ah well, just lead the way to your favorite pond-mirroir!" She would happily follow, as always!

"You'd really like to see?" Raphe asked with delight. He really was surprised, and didn't even mind her using 'hilarious' to describe his practicing. After all, she did want to see, so that had to be worth something.
"I'm practicing for now. That way I'll be pretty when someone does pay attention to me, and I'll have a head start for when I'm older if that's how long it takes." He chattered happily, and retraced their steps to the pond before peering into the water with a grin. "This pond has a dark bottom, it's easier to see my reflection that way."
He looked up, for the first time showing just a hint of uncharacteristic vulnerability in his silver eyes. "Are you sure you want to know about this kind of stuff?"
