Her face softened, but there was still fear in her eyes. She nodded. "Yes....please that would be nice. I haven't been anywhere since I was cast from my village...." she said looking down. It had been a good 3 months since she had been cast away.

Jozsef slid his eyes over to her, studying her again. She looked very weary. "Then follow me." He didn't mention anything about her being cast from her village, it was probably painful for her to remember. No doubt her own parents even scorned her. He would be certain to prepare her a bath and some clothes. She looked about the same size as... she was... Seeing another wearing her clothes would be slightly awkward, but she wouldn't need them anymore, and if they didn't get worn soon, they would get old and frayed, unwearable, unrecognizable. It was better for another to enjoy them. "My home is not far from here."

Eva followed him, being cautious of the things around her, trying not to trip around him. She'd fell really stupid if she- well too late. Eva fell down again, flat on her face. She held her face, mainly her nose when she sat back up. "Sorry, so sorry....my night vision isn't very well" She said blushing

He stopped and frowned very slightly at her. She was a pathetic little human critter, but then again, she had gone for a while without food, shelter and warmth. Perhaps that was why she was so clumsy. Leaning down he helped her back to her feet, though he did so without asking; when she was steady he let go of her and mused silently for a moment before offering her his arm. "If you need balance, hang onto my arm."

When she got on her feet, still holding her nose which was bleeding slightly, she held onto his arm after he offered it. She felt a little more comfortable with him. Now that he could feel her body, other than her arm, he could feel that she was shakey, most probably from lack of food. Her hold was firm, yet it felt like she was unsure, and some of it felt as if she was just plain exhausted. She HAD been walking through the woods, falling, tripping, climbing for around 6 hours.

Jozsef felt her trembling and moved slowly and smoothly, choosing the path that would have the least to trip over. With his other hand, he pulled out a kerchief from his back pocket. It wasn't one that he used, it was more there because his maid had it in her head that he might need it for something, and now he was glad she had given it to him. "Here. For your nose." He held the cloth to her, resisting the urge to take care of the wounded young woman himself. She was already tired, probably hungry, and hurt, he didn't want her to be wary and frightened of him as well.

She looked at him, then to the cloth. "T...thanks" she said taking it and using it to hold her nose shut. She blushed a small bit when her stomach growled lightly.

It wasn't long before they got to the front gates of his mansion. The Viscount opened them after negotiating with the lock for a moment, and then led the young woman up the stairs and into the home. As soon as the door was opened, there was his maid standing there, waiting with her hands clasped calmly in front of her.
"This young woman requires food, a bath, and clothing." Jozsef handed her off to the maid, who gently reached for her. "She may wear whatever you can find that fits her."
"As you wish, Lord Viscount."

"Oh, I don't wish to take too much" She said kindly, pulling the cloth away from her nose as it finally stopped bleeding. The cut on her cheek had slowed down a little also. She looked at the Viscount. "Oh...my apologies....my name is Evangeline....but you may call me Eva" she said.

He hadn't said his name to her. How rude of him. The Viscount turned back to her, brushing his fingers through his midnight hair. "My name is Jozsef Noir. I am Viscount of this land." He glanced to the maid who daintily took the girls hand. "That is my maid, Sarah." He nodded to her and the maid smiled slightly back at him, her attention was focused on the girl. "I have offered you shelter, it would be rude of me not to allow you to be properly clothed and fed." The tall man turned his attention to Eva's protest. "I have plenty, you needn't worry about dinner and clothing." He paused before turning away. "I will be in my study."
"As you wish." Sarah watched him walk away, his broad back fading into the shadows of the mansion before she slyly looked at the young woman before her. "You were lost in the woods, Mistress Eva?"

"That is a very bad place for a young woman to be alone." She started to walk down another hallway, to another set of stairs. "Please follow me, Mistress."

"Well then, you've come to the right place. You're lucky that the Master was feeling generous." Sarah smiled at the girl kindly, leading her to a room with a large tub in it. "We'll get you washed up first. Do you like tea?" She let go of Eva's hand and moved to the bath, turning on the water. They were some of the very few places that had running water, due to a neat contraption that caught and held rainwater and snow.
