I think I saw something which said that you could only go there with the aid of a gameshark which, in a way, would make the answer a yes and no.

Would anyone believe me if I told you that I can finish Link's Target test in 7.1 seconds? I can get picture proof for the time, but I have no way to upload the video from VHS to my computer. I taped it xd

There is no Gameshark for GCN, it just doesn't exist. What you probably mean is Action Replay. I know that you can't get it normally though because I've beaten Very Hard in all 3 modes (I only had to use continues in All-Star Mode) with Marth and my friend has done the same with Roy. Besides, you need to unlock all the stages for the Sound Test, and I have Sound Test, so I know it doesn't exist. It may not even be a real Action Replay code.

Someone else said that it was all characters, all-star on very hard, and 10 enemies w/ everyone on cruel melee. But I don't believe it.

it isn't true. We also had somewhere between 10 and 20 kills on Cruel Melee for Roy.

I'm just used to saying gameshark. There's an article on gamefaqs which describes everything you can do in the debug mode.

My Favorites are Samus, Captain Falcon, Marth and Mario.
I dont like to counter attack with Falcon so I am the one chasing the enemy... Falcon has great balance in speed and power. My main tactics with him in single battles is to utalize his raptor boost and correct ground moves... I never use any smashes since I got the KNEEEEE!!!!!
In melees I try to grab as many items as possible and use Falcon Punch to surprise the other players.
My next best is Marth.
I always go with non-smash style and try to not use smashes except when he has high %.
Marth is useless in melee.

Actually, Link is great if you know how to use him. In 1-on-1, I tend to get annoying by using items to score some damage and using sword techniques when they get close, and in melees I can annoy the other people fighting with items, and when they decide to go after me I have plenty of moves that are sure to kill them by the time they can catch me (I play in Final Destination since I hate cowards and the only running I do is to annoy people and score hits with jump-and-run tactics).
And Marth is actually great in a melee. If you know how to use his counter (down+B) then you can knock any opponents off you (as well as his side smash, since if you hit them with the edge its very deadly, even at low damage).
If you know how to use it, then his Dolphin Slash (up+B) can knock people away as well (though they have to be very close to you or else it won't knock them anywhere, while if they are on you then its as deadly as a fully charged Sheild Breaker).
The only character in the game who is useless is Pichu because he's weak, damages himself, and relies on extremely close range (as in grabbing distance or less) unless you use his B or smash B, but those need skill to use right and they still damage himself. Its better to just use Pikachu since Pichu has no advantages aside from higher running speed. Anyone else can be good if you know how to use them right.
